Based on the yelp reviews I saw for longevity, I was really pumped to try it but the overall experience was really disappointing. The most disappointing aspect was the cashier/barista. She had a really bizarre rude attitude that I didn't understand. I asked if I could have less milk in my latte and she reacted as though I was doing something wrong. It was really strange and it definitely didn't make me feel welcome in the coffee shop. Then, I was really surprised to see my latte being made because they don't make the espresso fresh! I've never had an iced latte where they take old coffee from the fridge and pour it in. The latte was fair... Came here for breakfast before our hiking trip. I got the Complete Breakfast bowl, which came with seasoned quinoa, scrambled eggs, and spinach. I also got the latte coffee. I'd say the breakfast bowl was good; the seasonings on quinoa and eggs made everything good. I wish the side spinach came with salad dressing though. I came here for the first time to catch up with a friend. I had no idea that this place is known for having "healthy" coffee, so I was pretty surprised when I walked in and saw the menu. We both ordered the Chocolate Mint Jing City. I thought that it tasted kind of artificial; it was a lot like the taste you get when you eat a chocolate protein bar. Personally, I was not a huge fan of it and I didn't that it was worth the price. The service was also not that great. We have been coming here for years. This was our favourite coffee shop but not today unfortunately. There were some new employees who did not know how to make the coffee and the smoothies. Asked for a dry cappuccino got a coffee blended with oat milk that I did not ask for. Asked them to remake it they could not. Had to leave because we were in a hurry. Got pina colada not the same again was missing some ingredients. When I asked they said it's correct. Oh well . Too bad it's becoming like this nowadays. This is tucked in a strip-mall / small shopping center with parking that can get sketchy at times. Quiet, with a new-agey vibe to it and a few Eastern religion icons placed about. I had seen online pics of what looked to be great, creative coffee drinks, yet when I entered I saw signs advertising their smoothies, protein drinks, and some food. Coffee seems to take a back seat. The back page of their menu is where coffee is listed. Just the standard fare: espresso, latte, etc. I asked the gentleman behind the counter to suggest something creamy in the way of a latte and the best I got was that I could have a latte made with 1/2 & 1/2. They do offer almond milk, which he said they make fresh there. I opted for the 1/2 & 1/2 version. He made it quickly - there was no one else waiting - yet there was none of the artwork on top that so many other independent coffee houses are known for. Or even what others visiting there have shown online. Perhaps he was new. It still tasted good. While this isn't the ideal place for working, Longevity Coffee's menu is on the cutting edge of "health" coffee shops. I got a Nitro "Latte" with their Longevity blend and homemade nut milk for the drive down to San Diego. They also have turmeric lattes, real-ingredient pumpkin spice lattes, and more. The interior is pretty minimalistic and the people are nice; it's a little $$ but they have really interesting things, so if you're in the mood to treat yourself, I definitely recommend. read more

The coffee is delicious. If you are tired of the Bucks or CB brews (and we all are), this is both a wonderful addition to the area and a refreshing new option. It's super clean, and it's best features are the service (nice, smiley, talkative, exuding good spirits) along with bad ass coffee. It's setup & design is stark, clean, minimal -- like Blue Bottle (San Francisco, but I like that better), and Seven Grams (NY, but that has better baked goods and tons of energy). They feature local bakery, Karma, which offers entirely gluten-free goods (just like Five07 has in the NE side of Thousand Oaks). Overall, it's south of greatness compared to Stumptown, Intelligentsia, Groundwork -- but I'll take it. While they have, no doubt, some expensive and rivaling the best machines, my expectation was higher. I like the coffeehouses that are built like a science lab, and do Siphon brews. That's a unique offering that I love, even though a Siphon coffee can run you $8-12! Now, there's minimal seating inside and a little patio taking up 1.5 spaces in the parking lot. But, expansion is coming. They are taking over a large space next door with tons of seating. We can only hope there's a stage featuring music, open-mic, etc, making it a great place for social gatherings, writing a Yelp review or working on a chapter of your novel. read more

Extremely light. My peppermint chocolate version tasted like watered down chocolate powder & peppermint syrup. Extremely bland, not even a hint of coffee. The caramel version was extremely sweet and tasted like caramel water. If you're looking for that bold, rich coffee flavor/taste than this place is a hard pass. I ordered an iced honey rose latte and a hot pumpkin coffee and both were delicious! It is a bit pricey, but considering the quality and ingredients used it was worth it. First, I am a huge lover of rose flavored tea and coffees and this one was so good with oat milk! My boyfriends mom ordered the pumpkin coffee and loved how all the spices blended together. It seems like they sell a lot of products on the shelves, but I've personally never tried anything. Their employees were friendly and were following COVID guidelines. I was told it is kind of not like a real Sunday but honestly it just didn't sit right. In addition, I ordered a hot coffee but on the sign it said it was a coffee that is less acidic but it tasted more acidic than most coffee I drink! If you can afford it, this is a good destination for those that appreciate high-quality coffee. The wall menu is easy to read, but has many vaguely-named items. Found myself asking multiple questions to find out exactly what is a "Jing City" or Longevity Shot". Kudos on the creativity, but please post the description of these somewhere on the wall, too. WHOLE BEAN COFFEE = at $20 a bag, I thought, this better be good. It was! Detected absolutely no bitterness. This premium coffee went down smooth. VANILLA JING CITY = already forgot what made this so special that it cost $7. It tasted like a lightly-sweetened mocha latte. I think it has herbs in it? My fave part was the coconut whipped cream. MATCHA LATTE = I have a matcha drink every day of the week and was disappointed by this. Likely cause is because I subbed the milk with the house made nut milk, the taste of which completely overpowered any semblance of matcha. HONEY ROSE LATTE = tried it hot and made the same mistake again of using the nut milk because that's all I could taste. On a second visit, tried this iced with the regular milk and enjoyed the subtle sweetness from the honey, as well as the floral rose scent. LONGEVITY SHOT = laundry list of ingredients including ginger and turmeric. Burned a little as I swallowed, but in a good way, like when you know you're ingesting something really great for your body. Price will prevent me from being a regular customer. Including a humble tip, I spent almost $40 on one bag of coffee and 2 drinks!! Prior to visiting, I saw a few Yelp photos of a mint chip shake-like item which I intended on trying, but then saw the $12 cost. Yeesh, nevermind. Baristas are very nice and upbeat. They offered recommendations and were very knowledgeable about the menu. I wanted desperately to enjoy the coffee here. My friend and I could not understand anything that the two men at the counter were saying. We don't know what their original language is. When one of them asked if I wanted collagen in my coffee, I said yes. Turns out the collagen is chocolate flavored!! My drink was ridiculously sweet and thick, worse than hot chocolate.
