I've been trying to get a reservation here for a while now! Wait times are usually about 90 minutes, so make sure you join early! We checked in as soon as we can and did errands while we waited. We had a valentines dinner and it was great! I had a strawberry lemonade, and the ribeye was cooked perfectly! I'm always a huge fan of the Mac and cheese! Everything was so flavorful and I can't wait to come back again!

I was taken here for my birthday by my husband and my son treated me for the dinner. We were seated pretty quick. The service was friendly and excellent from drinks to dessert. We had the Stuffed mushrooms for apps, and different cuts of steaks all around. I had my fire-grilled t-bone steak with a loaded bake potato and a salad. Had my steak cooked as Medium. We had a couple of drinks and were done well. I had the Patron dragon fruit margarita and my son had the Moscow mule. Everything was delicious and made with excellence. They even gave me a special treat for my birthday and they came out with a delicious dessert that was ice cream topped with really good whipped cream drizzled with sprinkles and happy birthday written in chocolate. That was very nice of them. The place was nicely dimmed for a relaxing enjoyable ambiance. I recommend the place and not sure why they seem to have a lower score but my experience was a 5 star.

Every visit to LongHorn Steakhouse is a win. The food is consistently delicious--perfectly cooked steaks, flavorful sides, and generous portions that always hit the spot. But what really sets this place apart is the customer service. The staff is always friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. They go above and beyond to make sure you have a great experience. The vibe is immaculate too! So cozy yet polished, with a warm, rustic atmosphere that's perfect for a night out or a casual dinner with friends and family. Whether it's your first time or your fiftieth, LongHorn never disappoints. Highly recommend!

This place was amazing! Came here for my nephew's graduation dinner and was not disappointed at all. The service was excellent, the servers were so friendly and professional. Even on a very very busy night, our orders were taken quickly, and our food came in a very timely manner! I think this food is fantastic for the price. I got the salmon with the side of Salad and a sweet potato. So delicious and I wanted more! Everything was very clean, the table was set up for us really nicely for a big group and it was a fun environment!

My burger was very good. Cooked exactly to requested temperature (medium). I love the fried okra here and it was good as usual. Crispy on the outside but not dried out at all. Service was a bit inattentive. Especially after bringing our entrees. I ordered a side of okra to go with my burger and fries. Waiter misunderstood and brought okra instead of fries. No problem, just bring fries. Fries came just as I was eating the last bite of the burger and were brought by a runner. Never got a refill on my drink. I will skip the brisket queso next time. It's just too much food with an entree and it's good not great. A bit oily from the brisket.

Split a chicken fried chicken with a buddy. The dish came with a side of mashed potatoes fully loaded and a side salad. They give out free fresh out of the oven bread with butter. Our server, Taylor, was fast, efficient, friendly, and she came by and checked on us numerous times. So we really appreciated her excellent service!

My family came in for a late night dinner after shopping in south Austin. I had the 12 oz ribeye cooked medium, a cup of chowder and a strawberry walnut vinaigrette salad.,. My wife had the Flos filet mignon cooked to medium rare plus 1. And our kid had the sirloin kids meal with a baked potato. It was all so good and hit the spot after working up an appetite on a project outside. The waiter was super attentive and of course he was able to easily persuade me with dessert. My family shared the strawberry cheesecake and it was some of the best, not too sweet and not too heavy. The wait wasn't but 5-10 minutes and we were out of there within an hour right at closing.

Austin Restaurant Week takes place from August 28th through September 13th. First stop...Rollin Smoke BBQ, located in the Chalmers building, which filled with a crowd of people. I ordered a pull pork sandwich, mac-n-cheese and banana pudding. The pulled pork sandwich was huge, which I shared with the hubs. Quite honestly, I was full after eating 1/4 of the sandwich, which had cabbage, pickles and of course the pork (not the typical stringy pork but chunks of pork bursting with smokey flavor). The mac-n-cheese was substantial with cheese filled shell pasta with a hint of a smokey flavor. So yummy...Well, I might have eaten "all" the banana pudding. This was not your typical banana pudding (dense and flavorful). I certainly understand why they run out of this dessert. Service was superb! Great dining experience...

I order a very nice lite afternoon snack, 1/2 lb of Prime Pork Belly Burnt Ends, 1 Pork Sparerib, and a side of Boozy Brussels. The Prime Pork Belly Burnt Ends which are tossed in bourbon sauce and smoked again for a tender meat candy-like finish which was quite to the contrary, not overbearingly sweet, just a hint. The first time that I went to Rollin' Smoke, I wanted to order the Pork Spareribs but they weren't available so that's when I was introduced to the Pork Belly Burnt ends so today, I ordered just 1 Pork Sparerib today which was good but not great, sadly. I thoroughly enjoyed the Boozy Brussel Sprouts which were smoked and flashed fried, a balsamic glaze with whiskey soaked raisins and parmesan. I am definitely returning to check out the Half Chicken Plate with 2 small sides that I eyeballed.

It wasn't too salty which I was scared of with many BBQ dishes. I paired it with their waffle fries and it was great. I should've gotten another one! Service 3/5: the server was sweet but she took awhile to get back with us. We waited awhile for the BBQ (which happens at most BBQ), waited 30-40 min for her to come pick up the check, and then waited another 30-40 min for her to come back with our checks. Overall I'd recommend for the food but make sure you don't have anything planned right after!

We started with the fried green tomatoes. They didn't quite beat the unforgettable ones from The Front Porch Cafe at Dollywood, but they were still tasty and we happily finished them. I ordered the 2-piece dark meat while my cousin got the 2-piece white meat, both with baked beans, slaw, and white bread. The baked beans and slaw were both satisfyingly delicious. When my plate arrived with a thigh and two legs, I thought I had ordered wrong! Our wonderful server, Kamber, explained that the legs were especially small that day, so they have to serve two instead. The chicken was crispy, flavorful, and delicious, and I loved learning they use peanut oil. The fresh, natural quality definitely came through. And placing the white bread underneath the chicken? Brilliant--it soaks up the extra oil! Service was fast, friendly, and efficient even though it was a busy Friday lunch hour. Amber was great about answering our questions and regularly checked up on us. She even introduced us to their homemade Chess pie--a classic rich southern custard dessert pie--which we were too full to try this time, next time for sure. We'll be back, especially since there's another location in San Antonio. Next visit, I'm coming hungry for the fried okra, mac & cheese, and seasoned fries! Just wish they also have corn on the cob and corn bread as other sides options. Southern fried chicken craving: officially satisfied.

For fifteen people, the total cost was $425.69. This included delivery costs and taxes, but no tip. It consisted of three meats, two sides, and a dessert along with pickles, onions, bread, and BBQ sauce. There was also a set of utensils delivered, but plates were forgotten, but not a big deal. Brisket - This was definitely the best item eaten of the day. It was tender and juicy while adding the BBQ sauce giving that extra bite. The BBQ sauce was great regardless, a little bit of sweet and smoky flavor going on. Pulled Pork - This was another solid meat choice. I did not think it was as tender as the brisket, but it was still enjoyable especially with that BBQ sauce, which was key throughout the meal. Sausage - This was not bad. The snap on this threw me off a little, but it was not too bad. They were large links and had plenty of flavor. Gouda Mac & Cheese with Smoked Bacon - This was actually penne pasta with little pieces of the bacon. I actually preferred this pasta choice here. It really soaked up the cheese sauce. The sauce was not too over powerful and was just right. Beans with Smoked Bacon - These were not too bad. I thought they were a little liquidity, but the added bacon pieces definitely helped. Banana Pudding - This came in individual cups, which was nice. The pudding was thick with a little meringue or whipped cream present and a few wafer cookies on top. It was a satisfying ending to a very good meal. Will I go back? Yes.
