Great food. Except for the immediate seating, a long wait (10 minutes) followed before a server "stopped by". Pricing OK.

The food is usually pretty good. However, no restaurant should have a bartender waiting tables. Our waitress/bartender was more interested in serving the bar than in serving us. My husband's steak was chewy and tasteless. It was also over done. My shrimp & rice was good. After waiting longer than we should have to, the waitress came out to tell us that the steak was not done to her liking, so the kitchen was preparing another. You know how that turned out! We plan to return because we have had both good food and good service in the past. read more

I always have a good meal here. Good New York strip, love the sweet potatoes. Longest wait was 15 mins.

Go at least twice a month due to work but I can honestly say in all the times there the food has always been excellent.Even when crowded you get seated rather quickly,and the waitress/waiter is always friendly(be foolish not to be though) A little drive from Brookhaven but well worth it. read more

I was very pleasantly surprised by Longhorn, my wife and I both had the prime rib which was cooked perfectly as we ordered. The atmosphere was "ok" considering it was a chain restaurant, service was very fast for a Saturday night. We definitely will be returning more often. read more

So I've been to Longhorn a couple of times and I thought I should write a review. This is one of the best steakhouses I've been to if you want personal service. Our server's name was Meg or Megan, she was great! She took care of everything we needed and was very attentive to our table even though it looked like she had atleast 4 or 5 other tables. The food was great, the manager made a point of walking all the tables to make sure everything was cooked the way it was ordered and took care of a table that wasn't satisfied with their order, quickly and efficiently. If you want a place that is personal and great service (unlike the Texas Roadhouse down the road) I would suggest Longhorn. Ask for Megan as your server if you can, can't get any better! read more

Just left. Phenomenal service. WOW!. Morgan was a great (if not the best) server we ever had. My wife ordered a meal, thinking it was something else, and to her surprise, it wasn't what she expected. Morgan recognized the dissatisfaction and immediately informed the manager. Greg came over and asked if she wanted the prime rib (instead of rib eye) . The prime rib was brought out and my wife was ecstatic. Morgan is a real people person and is great af the service end of the job. We are also in the service industry and it is wonderful to see this attitude. Kudos to Morgan. Kudos to Greg for believing in his staff. read more

Me and my husband went here for date night (my second time and his first) for the first time in 5 months since him coming home from his deployment. When we go out to eat, we always chow down. We got Wild West Shrimp as a starter and even though the shrimp were small, there was enough for both of us and they were beyond good. Served with ranch and my husband got cocktail sauce and it tasted good with both dipping sauces. For an entree, I got chicken tenders with honey mustard sauce/fries and my husband got sierra chicken. I received more chicken tenders then you get at Friday's or any other restaurant (they are smaller) and they were also good. Not as crispy as Friday's but still good. My husbands sierra chicken was also good and moist. Despite feeling full we couldn't leave without dessert (that's a big no-no in our book of Going Out To Eat Rules). We got the Longhorn dessert sampler tray which was a good price (get nice size portions of chocolate stampede, caramel apple goldrush, and mountain top cheesecake). Everything on the tray was fabulous!! I'm surprised we finished it all, but another rule in our book is no matter what, never waste dessert (even if your taking your entree home). The mountain top cheesecake was the best cheesecake I've ever had (sorry, but despite going to cheesecake factory often, we never had one of their cheesecakes but we will). It didn't taste like it was store brought or leave a after-taste in your mouth (Red Lobster cheesecake has nothing on Longhorn cheesecake; personal taste bud preference). It was so rich and creamy and smooth going down and it had that made from scratch/homemade taste to it you find nowhere else. This is coming from a person who used to hate cheesecake so thank you Longhorn for turning me around. So now, I'm gonna say this, I love this place and know I will be back sooner than I want to be. P.S. Our server was also great. Lots of energy and was always around even though the place was crowded. Even though he dropped one of our dessert spoons and didn't show up til 5mins later, me and my husband are used to sharing utensils, but we loved his reason for dropping the spoon (did it on purpose to create a bonding moment for us)and for that and his service, he got a nice tip. read more

One of the best steakhouses in town! However, I wouldn't recommend the nachos here unless you enjoy being disappointed in the the quality of your food. You're better off buying a bag of Tostitos and making your own nachos. Everything else is pretty good though. read more

Visited this restaurant July 3rd .Not crowded but busy. The decore was interesting. Working with a light crew our waitress was busy. She introduced herself, handed us menus, and said she would be back to take drink orders. Fifteen minutes later she came back. Took the drink orders. Moscow Mules were the special. They were good ! We ordered appetizers. Stuffed mushrooms and spinach dip YUM! She came back after putting that order in and took our main order.Cheeseburger with fries for me.My dining partner had some sort of burger with a white cheese sauce on it that was good but salty. My dining partner complained her burger was under cooked so the waitress took it back to be nuked. Mine was ok ( I suspect they mixed our burgers up).The fries that came with my meal liked great but again too salty for me to really enjoy them. My burger was great.The bun was soft and buttery . I removed all the lettuce,tomato and onion (My fault I should have told her to make it plain) I had to cut it in half because it was a lot of meat.I took that home with me.ir was great for lunch. I will probably revisit since I joined they club and got a coupon for an appetizer on my next visit. read more

Haven't been here in a while, so we decided we would go here for a good dinner. I would highly recommend doing call ahead, as there is almost always a wait here. The prime rib here is very good, as is the filet (flo's filet). We also got the chips and dip, which is a good appetizer. Our server was very nice, and helpful as well. I enjoy coming here, and will be in the future. I would recommend coming here if you aren't quite sure we're to go yet. read more

This was my first time and my last time going to this horrible establishment. A large group of us went there the other day for a birthday. We called 2 hours ahead of time to let them know that we were coming with 15 people. They said ok. When we arrived it took over an hour and a half for them to offer us a table. It was practically empty. Not once in that hour and a half did anyone check in with us to let us know the progress of our table. They simply ignored us unless a person from our party sought out a hostess. After making us wait (it was 9:30 by this point) they offered to seat is separately. Which wouldn't have been so bad if we hadn't been waiting an hour and a half in an empty restaurant so we could be seated together. At this point we all were angry. When we complained the staff were indifferent and offered no consolation in an attempt to bring us back. So we decided to go to PJ Whelahans where we were seated almost immediately and even in our short wait they were pleasant an accommodating, and kept us informed as to the wait time. My wife and I came here last Friday at 5:45 and were seated as soon as we walked in. Our server was Ed whom was upbeat, friendly and attentive and really seemed to like his job. We started off with the onion petals which are thinner than they were in the past and since they're thinner they tend to get too well done. We also had the potato soup which was very creamy with tender potato's. My wife thought that the potato's were overcooked. So we could not agree on the soup. My wife had the Red Rock Grilled Shrimp which she said was excellent. I had the larger size Prime Rib ordered rare which arrived medium rare. The Prime Rib had a blackened taste and flavor to it which seemed to dissipate as I ate it. Our server later mentioned that maybe someone just before had had a blackened entree. I have to say that this is becoming a trend with this restaurant. I have been here before and noticed my steak had a barbecue flavor to it but I never asked or noted this option on the menu. Are they cleaning or scraping the grill between entree's? I have not run into this at Outback or Roadhouse. The size of the entree's and the quality of the food is very good. As in the past the servers at this location really do a good job. If I could give a more detailed numerical rating I'd give them a 3.7, so I had to round up to a 4. read more
