There were limited options at 930pm, so we chose to eat here despite the foul odor that assaulted us upon entering. I don't know what the smell is, but its pretty bad. Which is unfortunate, because the food was pretty good. Service was just ok. They got my drink order wrong, and when I asked for a straw it took close to 5 minutes to get it. I would have went to the bar to get one but I was on the inside of the booth. While the food had good flavor, my asparagus was overcooked and mushy, and my Brussel sprouts were cold. My husband ordered them also, so I ate half of his while waiting for them to bring me new ones. 20 minutes later the server asked how my new Brussel sprouts were, and I had to break the news that they never came. The hubby and my kid had the filet and both were super happy with their food. Women's bathroom was pretty clean, but apparently the men's was a disaster and he said the urinals were leaking onto the ground. His hypothesis is that years of urine is causing the foul odor. The place was a little dusty, cobwebs and a layer of grease. But that late at night, for a sit down meal, you're severely limited. read more

When taking our order, I intended to order for everyone since I knew what all were eating, but she didn't even look at me or acknowledge me at all till she took all others orders. I (only male) took my 3 family members to lunch for hopefully a memorable dining experience since it was the first time I was taking out all 3 for a sit down meal.. All received their salads except me! After all ate their salads, I advised waitress she could cancel my salad. All she said was Oops, no apology or explaination. When the waitress removed the appetizer plates in preparation for the entrees, she removed all but mine?? I have no idea why not. My plate was empty and I was clearly not eating anymore. I moved my plate to an empty table. Everyone was served their entree but me? I had to wait an additional 5+ min. No explaination or apology offered. I don't have high expectations for budget restaurant chains, but a restautant of this caliber that charges $140+ for lunch with 4 people, I would expect all food to me delivered together. Oh yes, I forgot to mention this was lunch and the place was slow, maybe 5-6 tables for 3 servers. Once again, she collected all entree plates but mine, and I again moved my plate to an empty table! All 3 girls I was with, were as baffled as I, so it was not my imagination, she seemed to be intentionally giving me bad service? When she approached with the check, I reached out for it, but rather then handing me the check, she just "dropped' the check on the table. That did it, I was convinced she had some kind of problem. Mind you I am, 61 white male, I was dressed appropriately and just moved here from California. This was my first time in this restaurant, and never met this server ever. I just wanted to enjoy a pleasant meal with my niece and her 2 daughters. I am a gentleman, I opened the door for the girls as we entered, but then I got a phone call and stepped back outside as to not disturb others dining experience. I am always considerate and kind to others, so as you can imagine, I was baffled. It is extremely rare that I don't leave a tip, I have worked as a hotel bellman and I understand the value of tipping. Sometimes a server may forget something or make an error which is always immediately followed with an apology when realized. This server never apologized once. I left no tip and wrote, bad service. Honestly it ruined my dining experience and made me uncomfortable. Not to mention what she may have done to my food before bringing it out, which would explain the 5+ min. delay after everyone else was served. I considered asking for a manager at the conclusion since she never returned to collect my check and I had to go to the register. The three girls seemed to enjoy the meal which was my main concern, and I didn't want to sour their memory by complaining, so I just played it off as though everything was fine, it's not to say that they did not notice the inappropriatly poor treatment I was given. Fore once we got in the car they were all asking me why the server was so rude, in a effort to not taint their experience I just said, 'I don't have any idea, perhaps she is just having a bad day, it happens." But honestly I was very disappointed! There is NO EXCUSE for this poor experience. I felt I wasted $140+ to try and have a memorable experience with them. Well I guess it was memorable since when I got the home, they told my sister about the worst service they had ever seen!! My sister asked me why, which I honestly had no answer, and still don't. We would have been better off going to Denny's at half the cost. Needlessly to say, I will never entain guests at this establishment EVER! In addition, it has tainted my opinion of Longhorn's chain, and will probably never go to a Longhorn's again. This was the #1 worst service I have ever experience, that a server believes it is ok to give this kind of service without concern for reprocisions from management is certainly a reprepresention of management or LongHorn corporate. Having be General Manager of many hotels some which had F&b, there so no way any of my employees would give service as poor as this unless they wanted to get fired, since they would know that immediate termination would be the result. So no, it would be very unlikely I will ever return to a LongHorn's again. Management at this location , at very least, needs leadership training. read more

We usually love the food from Longhorn. I'd advise eat in though because they must purposely give 2nd rate and leftover food when you pick up curbside. My son's sirloin was way too tough to cut with their plastic fork and knife and he had trouble chewing it also. Tasted good but not tender at all for a medium cook. My Parmesan crusted chicken was tough and looked nothing like it does when ordered in. It tasted leftover. My baked potato was definitely leftover like put in the fridge and microwaved later. This was a huge disappointment as this dinner was for my son's birthday and for some reason Longhorn doesn't care to give good quality food to go but to just get rid of leftovers because you're not there to complain about it. read more

On our way home from Memphis last week, we stopped at Longhorn Steakhouse. Aside from sloppy paper-strewn floors (come on, people, run a sweeper between customers if needed. It was freezing cold in there but after asking if they would turn the air up some I could feel the change in temperature as they honored the request. Seems everyone else was cold in there as well as I saw many leave and go get jackets. But if you go Hailey is NOT the waitress you would like to get. I understand everyone has a bad or off day but with only few tables no reason to our family waiting on several things and bringing us things we did not order and still leave on the ticket. Very disappointed in our service today. Never have had a problem at LongHorn so this is the first. Hopefully the last. SOMETHING is going on at this location. We stop BOTH ways otw to and from horse shows down south. Hold tight for the whole post, because the beginning doesn't even matter, just sharing. It's the second half that will get you. First night this trip was rushed but tolerable. Night two was even more rushed. We mentioned to the waitress we'd love the opportunity to enjoy our appetizers and salads while they were still hot/fresh before dinner showed up and was either enjoyed fresh and wasted the first course, or left to deteriorate while we enjoyed the first course. Got a song and dance about how they wanted us to get our main course asap, but there's a timeline that should be adhered to. On the second visit we didn't notice until we left, drove less than a mile and went to check into the hotel. The credit card was missing, only place we had used it since Oklahoma was at dinner. Dropped bags and I returned to retrieve the card. Due to the fact it was my employers card, I remained cool, collected, and respectful. Was totally dismissed by host at the front, said it hadn't been turned in. Someone else in a button down and an apron came out, totally blew me off, and after telling him it should have been in the check envelope he told me 'well you're welcome to look around...' At that exact moment I heard another man leaving his info about his credit card missing! I stopped him and asked him how long ago he lost his and he realized it before leaving and they still wouldn't turn it over. At this point I lost my cool and stopped yet another manager. This one had avoided our table and eye contact like the plague after we shared the timing feedback with our waitress. He again declined to even look at me, yelled 'GIVE ME A MINUTE' when I asked for his attention when he tried to walk away, and finally returned rather huffy. Told me again, they didn't have our cards, we were concerned with so many cards missing in such a short time. I continued to press and let staff know there is no where else the card could be. FINALLY they returned the card once I had called my employer and he recommended calling the police. At that exact moment another man came in demanding to know why his card was run for more than the total bill and tip just that evening. I hope Longhorn corporate sees this and gets involved to help protect customers and turn this place around! read more

Sunday afternoon. She said the wait would be 20 mins. I went to the bar and there were available tables. I asked the person handling the TO GO register if those table were open seating...she said no. I sat at the bar and had a fine martini while I waited 20 mins. When I was called...she walked me to 1 of those available bar tables. Smh My waitress came right over and took my order. She was attentive and the food was out in no time. I had the wild shrimp which is my favorite app at Longhorn. Fantastic as always...I also ordered a side salad. The salad was average. Dinner here was great tonight. I ordered steak and my friend ordered salmon. Unfortunately they were out of baked potatoes, but the mashed potatoes were good. The broccoli was delicious! Brittlynn was our server and she was amazing! Food was great as well If we are back in town, would definitely stop again.

We ended up sitting at the bar due to almost an hour wait for a table. Everyone at this restaurant was friendly, to include the patrons who were gracious and one lovely woman even moved down three spots at the bar to allow us to sit down together. The ribeye was amazing, perfectly cooked and flavorful. The salad dressing is excellent and made on-site, and the drink prices are very reasonable. For dinner I had the rib eye steak with a house salad and baked potato. My salad was good. the greens were fresh and the ranch dressing had good flavor. My steak was tender and cooked as ordered however it tasted like butter. My baked potato was not fully cooked and was not even hot enough to melt the butter that was on top. If I was at a cheaper steak place I would be satisfied with my meal but since my meal cost over $30 I was not happy. Maybe it was a bad night at the restaurant and next time it might be better. We came here for a family lunch before a family member's reception. We were sat rather quickly which was nice. That was about the only thing that was quick about the rest of our experience. I thought maybe the service was slow because they were busy or short staffed, however we watched all the tables around us (including ones seated well after us), receive their drinks, appetizers and food in a timely manner. It was a different story for my family, we sat for about 40 minutes with nothing on our table but water. Then everything came out within 1-3 minutes of each other and it was cold. Needless to say, I'm glad I don't live here and this is not my local Longhorn so there's no question that I will never be returning. read more

We read the reviews and it seemed like a good place to go. We got there, waited forever on a waitress, then she had the worst attitude, and was so rude, like we were just an inconvenience to her day. We both ordered steak and shrimp, mine was under cooked, husbands was over cooked and smelled ruined. We talked to the manager. He lectured us for 20 mins about how he unpackaged the steaks hisself the Friday before, and how he knew there wasn't anything wrong with the steaks. Horrible, would not go again! read more

My wife went to eat with a friend. While drinking her tea she sucked a shard of glass through the straw. Upon telling the waitress she was offered another glass of tea. Well that is a no brainer!
