if I could give zero star I would !! The customer service here was absolutely trash. I was told they would have me seated in "a minute" while they cleaned a table. Meanwhile, three groups came in after me and were helped before I was, and the host didn't even bother to acknowledge me or give me an update. I eventually had to walk back up to the host and ask if I was even going to be able to dine there because no one came back to check on me. I understand that restaurants get busy, but completely ignoring a customer and allowing multiple groups to be seated ahead of someone who was already waiting is unacceptable. I've been coming here for a long time now, and turns out great. This time around I came during my cheat day and ordered the cheeseburger with rice and broccoli. Everything came out the way it sounds. Travis, the bartender serving me, did a good job. He was professional, hard at work, and most importantly had a positive attitude. The one issue I had was that it took a bit to get my beer. No doubt it was busy when I walked in, i was told they were waiting on clean mugs, but when you're at the bar you usually don't like to wait. read more

Took over 20 minutes to be recognized, Server didn't make eye contact, Couldn't understand Most of What She Said, I ordered the 18 ounce T-Bone, The Steak Was Paper Thin, Sure Wasn't 18 Ounces! The Roasted Mushrooms Were Extremely Salty, My Baked Potato Was Dry as The Desert, Extremely Poor Service And Poor Quality Of Food. I Wouldn't Recommend This Longhorns. so ridiculous. the only reason i gave 2 stars is because they listened when i explained i have a dairy allergy and the food was good . The server Debbie was very inattentive and honestly super rude. she literally walked away half way though my moms sentence, we needed togos and the check and she literally walked away before we could finish asking for the check. My 12 oz ribeye was extremely thin , very tough and not edible. her filet was so flat it didn't resemble a filet. Both were definitely cooked on a flat grill instead a chargrill. The worst steak I've had in a long time. Our server was great. read more

Very Disappointing on my last visit.. they have really let this location go.. let's start with the sign out on the road...peeling apart and uninviting. Inside was an inattentive staff that eventually seated us at the worst location in the restaurant, right where the servers bring food out from the kitchen, underneath a speaker that was way too loud and playing the most god awful music for dining.. last I checked, Longhorn is not a night club... as we sat for a good 5-8 minutes I had to track down the manager in the bar and ask him to find us anyone with the wait staff to take our order. While waiting on our order and looking around I could see that this place could use a major cleaning.. floors were greasy, fixtures were dusty and the table was sticky. We did order and eat.. food was ok.. the whole experience gave me the feeling that nobody really cares at this establishment. Poor management? Poor morale? Service was good. Ambiance was very nice. The food was hit or miss at best. I ordered the Porter House medium rare (as it should be) with steak fries. The Porter House was well done, (so much so that I gave up a prayer for the poor cow). The steak fries were seasoned with nothing except for salt, and they had too much of that. Normally I do not send things back. I just eat it and give a bad review. But this was a $35 steak. That's a lot for me (maybe not for a lot of other people) so I sent it back. The second steak was almost perfect except the outer edge (on the New Your Strip side) was still well done. This was due to a poor slice of the stead. It was not cut evenly. I had an Old Fashion at the bar while I waited on our table. The first one was mixed by a young bartender that didn't know the difference between regular bourbon and rye bourbon. But to her credit she mixed a good drink. I ordered another with my steak, once we got to our table, and it was so bad I almost had to spit it out. I had to return it and ordered a water. The manager brought me another old fashion and said he mixed it by the book. It was way too sweet and I didn't drink it. My wife ordered the ribeye (medium rare, as it should be) and it was perfect. She had the loaded baked potato and it was good as well. I had the mashed potatoes with my returned steak and they were awesome. Over al the experience was not great for me but was good for my wife. I forgot to mention that she has the strawberry margarita with her dinner (which is something she orders almost everywhere we go) and she said it was just OK. Service was great and the food was as massive. I have been here many times but we went for my kid's birthday so this was a treat. We got the spicy chicken bites to begin, they were tasty but nothing to go crazy over. My kiddo got the porterhouse steak (the Longhorn). It was massive and perfectly prepared. Also the potato was awesome too. She didn't care for the lobster shrimp chowder and honestly I thought it was very mediocre myself. I got a massive ribeye steak and the first one they brought was not cooked the right medium (more medium well) but they had no problem remaking it and the remade steak was good. It was still medium rare BUT I like it like that too so I thought it was perfect. My server was super sweet and brought my kid ice cream which was so nice! This place has sooooo much potential but they are under staffed meaning they're overworked. I typically don't eat at longhorn but got a email about their lamb chops which I've had from them before. When we got there we had to wait a few minutes which was fine. We were greeted by the server right away he brung our water then after that we didn't see him for a while until he brung my drink which was served visibly in a filthy filthy glass. I had to ask the manager to wipe the crumbs out of our seat which she did but I could tell by her demeanor she felt some type of way. The server made me another drink in a clean glass. We got our food which was good but they forgot one of my sides to which I informed the young lady who brought out my food she said ok as if she was going to bring it back out didn't see her again had to stop another young lady who took care of it. This place needs to be shut down for some time for some serious deep cleaning. Carpets need cleaning, it needs to be dusted, walls need to be wiped down, menus need to be wiped off. Our silverware was soo filthy like they hadn't even been cleaned but we always use to go plastic ware anyway. I would go back to longhorn for the lamb chops but not this location. read more

Our visit to Longhorn Steakhouse was awesome! Parking was plenty and service was quick. We ordered 1/2 order of the Texas Onion for an app. It was very yummy. Then I had a medium steak with Parmesan cheese crust with a baked potato for my meal. The steak was cooked perfectly and the crust in it was DELICIOUS!!! This specific LongHorn has just went so downhill over the past year or two. This used to be our favorite go to with great food and great service but last time we ate there we decided it would be our last. We had to wait 30 minutes to be seated and there were more empty tables than not. The hostess said they didn't have but 2 servers working. My steak came out well done and ordered medium. Once we got our food we never saw our server again for drink refills. Just all the little things but it's continually been worse and worse to the point of we just won't eat here again. Hopefully they'll get new management soon and be able to turn this restaurant back around. read more

Stopped in yesterday for dinner. Wife's birthday. The first thing we notice is that the paper menu's are absolutely filthy and the doors to the restaurant haven not been cleaned in days. The service was OK, the usual uninterested greeter acted like she could care less if we were there or not. A waitress was seated at a table next to us folding napkins and wrapping knives and forks with them. The steak knives were spotted like they use a harsh dishwasher on them. The food was excellent however and that is what we came for. Surf and turf was really perfect and the waiter was very professional. Never had this experience in my life. Group of people at the bar took over. This restaurant should enforce a dress code so underwear is not showing, or exposed to the seats. Nasty. Took all the seats at my table without asking. I felt unsafe. I ate and left as fast as possible. The waiter was nice, but he was understaffed to manage the situation. Cops should have been called though.... I overhear some racial talk from the group and strategically thought it would be best if I just left. Steak was raw too. This situation happened on 4/3/2022 in the evening hour. Two of my adult children and granddaughter took me to the Longhorn in Madison TN for my birthday. The servicer made some mistakes. Like collecting the menus before my son was able to order and it was down hill from there. Next my son's steak was over cooked, he wasn't given the steak sauce he asked for....he asked for A-1 steak sauce the server brought heinz 57 sauce. We didn't say anything we thought maybe they ran out of A-1 then we happen to noticed a customer that was 2 tables from us had a bottle of A-1 on his table. When my son only had 3 small pieces of steak left the server brought him some A-1 sauce. My son asked for an Arnold palmer for his drink which is half lemonade and half tea. They brought him lemonade. My granddaughter didn't get her salad with her meal. We had to stop an employee that was passing our table in order to inform our server. It gets worse. My granddaughter ordered the shrimp and rice. She finished one skewer which had 4 small shrimp on the skewer and proceeded to start on the second skewer when she noticed a long blonde hair entwined around the shrimp and the skewer. She took it off to show us then she put it back on plate that was full of rice and we notified the server. The server apologized and offered to get her another order of shrimp. Right before they brought out another order with rice on a saucer that's used for your bread. They brought out the salad right before they brought out the second order of shrimp and more than half of the shrimp was burnt. The rice spilled off the saucer onto the table and onto her clothes. The rest of us had finished eating by the time her shrimp came out.. The manager-Tamara(no she's not a person of color) in a hostile manner and hostile tone in her voice to apologize while handing my daughter her check my daughter calmly asked her did she take the charge for the shrimp off the ticket. Tamara snatched the check out of her hand so aggressively my daughter's hand hit the table. When the manager came back with the new check she threw it at my daughter while walking away.. All of this in view of other customers at 6 other tables. I'm well into my 50's and I was there to celebrate my birthday. I have never been treated like this ever. I have never been so disrespected in my life and all of this in front of my 10 year old grandchild. It was the most horrible spectacle I've ever seen. Not to mention embarrassing. read more

We eat here quite often. If Long is at the bar go see him. He is super attentive, and very pleasant. The food is always amazing. I have one very huge complaint!! I hope the owners see this. FIX your dishwasher!!!! The dishes especially the glasses are always grimy. I send my drink back regularly. The glass always has gunk and particles on it. It is very off putting to pick up your drink and have grit on the outside and I'm sure the inside. Also get a to go person. The poor bartender is constantly having to answer the phone and run food outside. read more

First, let me say, I am not one to only leave negative comments but I am very much about the positive comments as well. That being said, this was a great disappointment of a restaurant. We ordered a rib eye and it was the worst piece of meat I have ever seen and cooked horribly. We returned it to only have the same thing come out again. I tried to explain to the manager that it wasn't even a rib eye and he proceeded to talk down to me. Sorry to disappoint him but we raise cattle! He asked if we wanted a third one, well , what do you think!? NO! Maybe lunch on a Friday at 1:30pm is not ideal. The food and management could use improvement. My family and I dined at the Goodlettsville, TN restaurant. I was less than pleased with our experience. After being seated quickly and receiving drinks, it was over an hour before our food arrived. Frozen drinks (Daiquiri) were not available. Most of the entrees were cold and either over/undercooked. My steak ordered medium rare was dry, unseasoned and very tough. My wife's chicken was over cooked and cold. Our waitress was absent most of the night only checking on us twice after drinks arrived. Needless to say I will not be back to this location. This was the worst experience I have ever had at a restaurant. so many issues! first of all we had a party of 8 with one of us in a wheelchair and it was Mother's Day. we asked for a table for 8. they then proceeded to set us at 2 separate tables because they said the wheelchair was a fire hazard so they couldn't move the table 18 inches and join the two tables. keep in mind when they seated us they DID NOT say we would be at 2 separate tables. then, so we could all sit together for this special occasion WE offered to transfer our handicapped member to a chair and they still told us we couldn't sit together even though they initially said the wheelchair was the problem. then I ordered shrimp and asked for cocktail sauce with it. when my order came, no sauce so I asked for it and they said the restaurant doesn't stock cocktail sauce. Our steaks were cooked as we ordered them and served up fairly quickly. The steaks were decent quality and tasted just fine. The service was quietly efficient until a large group of women with giant hair arrived and began to cackle and whoop like a bunch of freakish hens. Suddenly, we were invisible while being subjected to the ravings about the latest Mary Kay face cream and the rants about the discomfort of Spanx.
