    48oz Tomahawk
    Michelle K.

First the good: beautiful restaurant, great service, butter cake. And the okay: Parker rolls, mashed potatoes, cookie sundae. Now the bad: oysters Rockefeller were the size of clams, beef tallow fries tasted good but literally every single fry was broken like they were the pieces you'd find at the bottom of the pan, Mac and cheese was way too al dente, NY strip was underseasoned and really needed the au poivre sauce which we asked for later, and most disappointing of all was the Tomahawk medium rare. This was the fattiest piece of meat I have ever seen in my life. I've had Tomahawk before and yes it's supposed to have fat but this was beyond. More than half of it was fat and the actual meat that was left was chewy and not tender at all. We were two adults with two teens and for our bill to be $450 I was expecting a lot more. I really wanted to like this place but a restaurant that calls itself a steakhouse at this price point really needs to excel in actually cooking steak.

Oak has one of the most beautiful atmospheres in Nashville. The woodwork, the wine library, the open kitchen and the details are incredible. The food was fantastic. Oysters are always a hit for me. The scallops were in the top three I've ever eaten and the bacon is a must when you come here. The four star rating today is due to our waiter dropping off for way to long once we were about halfway through dinner, drinks taking too long and coming out very spastically and while the ice cream was fantastic, the desserts were a miss. The cookie was hard and felt like it was a few days old and the cheesecake was just okay. Would I go back? Absolutely. Is it my first choice? Probably not.

Late post.... Had dinner here a couple of weeks ago. The restaurant is beautiful. We had Colin as our server and he was awesome. We were a big party and he was amazing. Food was good and atmosphere was great. I would recommend.

Oak Steakhouse is typical of high end places, but executes the exercise better than most. The menu is classic and the wine list is excellent, service perfect. Great!

Another awesome Bourbon recommended by head Bartender Will.

Absolutely fantastic place. Friday sat at the bar and had a 5oz steak with mashed potatoes. Cooked perfectly. Enjoyed several of the numerous Bourbons. Saturday also sat at the bar (place was extremely crowded on Saturday evening) on Saturday had the caramelized burger with fries and mushrooms. Once again awesome. Cooked to my liking. Had a wonderful glass of Malbec and again several bourbons. Atmosphere and ambience superb. The best part of the place is the head bartender Will. Extremely knowledgeable on all Bourbons and wines. Tried several he suggested and they were awesome (see photos). On Saturday he was joined behind the bar by Michael. Same experience. When I'm back in Nashville I'll be sure to stop in here again. A wonderful experience.

If your looking for an upscale dinner with wonderful service, delicious food, and tons of wine selections this is your place! This is the 2nd time we came here for a birthday dinner and it was perfect, all of the staff were so accommodating and friendly and the food was delicious! I LOVED the roasted carrots!

Remember you will always pay for great quality food. And this is the place to get it. It's a loader restaurant but definitely worth it with a good location and nice ambiance. The staff is absolutely amazing. And Addie(sure I spelled it wrong) our server was the best I have ever had at a restaurant. Give her a huge raise and do whatever it takes to keep her. So we had some great drinks that were all good. The meal started with our appetizer oysters Rockefeller. Great. And then our meals. We all had different versions of steaks but I had the Japanese A5 Wagyu. All steaks were good but this one was butter. It melted in your mouth. I let everyone try it and everyone said they wish they would have gotten it. For the sides we got the mashed potatoes and brussel sprouts. Both were delicious but nowhere on the same level as the steak. Overall this restaurant was wonderful and fun to visit. We will definitely come back for some more Wagyu.

Came here to celebrate my sister's 50th and we're pleased with the experience. The decor was great and staff super nice. The craft cocktails were tasty and on point. As for the food, the chicken was out of this world flavorful, the chocolate cake rich but very good as well as the arancini and fries. We felt that the Caesar salad lacked a little flavor while the crab cakes were a bit salty and fishy. My brother's ribeye was overcooked while my 12 ounce filet at medium was closer to medium rare. However, the flavors on the steaks were good. There was more good than bad and we loved the personalized menu that they created for my sister.

Great layout for my bachelor party near the tv.

Celebrated my bachelor party while the Dodgers were in the World Series in casual costumes. I won't tell you how much they went above and beyond but I'll show you the custom menus, amazing food, spectacular service, and you bet I will be back. Thank you to our wonderful server Lindsey and full staff for making this such an epic experience. The real MVP's!!

First of all, I am limited by giving 5 stars, if I could give more I would ! Scheduling was easy but to highlight the service from everyone is what makes this above a 5 stars review. Every time my wife and I make reservations we always request Lindsey. Her professionalism and absolute skill is incomparable to other fine dining experiences. She turns the typical dining event into an experience and really gives everything she's got into ensuring a quality evening. She is timely , and very easy to talk to whether it's regular conversation to inquiring about what meal selections she recommends. During one dining experience she insured that our anniversary was emphasized by setting up the table in a way that's indescribable. The level of detail and precision combined with her knowledge made us feel like we weren't just eating but rather experiencing a world class evening involving delicious food, great drinks , and even better conversation. If you go to oak we not only go for the food but also the amazing services that Lindsey provides! The next person I want to highlight is Kayla. Like Lindsey, Kayla's professionalism is superb. She checked in with us on multiple occasions to ensure that we would leave satisfied with the Oak experience and was an absolute privilege to converse with during each dining experience. It is rare to have employees who genuinely care about the customer and to say that these women were superb at their profession would be an understatement! As far as the dining the food cooked by the kitchen was amazing. The steak down to the sides were immaculate and were cooked perfectly. I truthfully cannot find a single issue with any of the meals we've received over the many times we've dined at this establishment. If you're looking for a 5 star experience, request Lindsey as your server. She will ensure you're receiving the greatest quality of care during your time at Oak Steakhouse.

This was our first time in Nashville and we came across Oak Steakhouse. We booked a dinner for two to celebrate my 35th birthday the and it did not disappoint. Service, flavor, and ambiance were 10/10. We were blessed to have Addy as our server she was welcoming, attentive, and she truly went above and beyond. The service was exceptional, drinks and food were amazing, thank you for making my birthday so special!

Oak steakhouse is a fantastic dinner experience in Nashville. We were here celebrating a birthday and had a great time. Service is top notch. Very friendly and attentive staff. Free valet validation at the Westin hotel which is connected to the restaurant. The food is amazing. Being a steakhouse the price point is on the higher end as expected, but the steak, apps, cocktails, and deserts are all delicious!

With a 4.77 aggregate rating across all user-driven platforms and nearly 1,700 reviews to date, Krustaceans is much better on paper than it is in reality, a very overrated restaurant! As the highest-rated seafood joint on the entirety of Highway 70 across the America, it simply did not live up to the hype as I passed through Nashville. Perhaps I should have ordered crab or shrimp or some other boiled seafood which seems to be more of their specialty. But the fish and chips caught my attention. Beware, these aren't the fish and chips you'll find in the UK or the Northeastern United States. Instead of a crisp, beer-battered exterior, this is more like a catfish breading. And it's not bad, but it's just very different than the name would imply. The batter is probably too salty, but the fish is very fresh! The Cajun fries are horribly mediocre. They're definitely just frozen fries from a local supermarket with an uninspiring spice mix. The employees didn't seem very welcoming either, which was kind of sad since I was excited to be there. It's not a bad meal at all, but the ratings are way higher than they should be! If you're haphazardly shelling out five-star reviews, you've probably never had real seafood on the coast and have only inflated the truth for online viewers. Don't expect too much out of Krustaceans, hope for a decent meal, and you won't be disappointed.

The small signage made it a little difficult to find inside the Marriott (see pictures), but from the moment we walked in, heard the live piano player and saw the dining area - we knew this would be a great experience. We started off by sharing orders of Lobster Bisque (see picture) and Burrata with Toast (see pictures). We really enjoyed both of them - the Lobster Bisque was so creamy and smooth and the Burrata was cool, fresh and clean. They were a great combination to start our dinner experience and I would recommend both of them. Since it was a Friday during lent, my wife opted for the BBQ Shrimp Pasta (see picture) and I went with the Daily Fish Special on Blue Corn Grits (see picture). As we always do when we go out, we shared our plates and really enjoyed both of them. The BBQ Shrimp Pasta was rich, buttery and smooth and the Fish Special was a tasty white, flaky and blackened fish served on a bed of rich, creamy blue corn grits. Here again, both are highly recommended. While it is one of your more expensive area stops for dinner, you will appreciate the food quality and presentation at Gannons Nashville for your next special occasion. Anything left over is donated, which is impressive! And you can taste its incredible freshness throughout the meal! There are only 30 locations of Eddie V's in 15 states, but the quality is hardly reminiscent of chain restaurant food. It's truly exquisite! And we have very high standard having dined at Michelin-starred eateries all over the world. The scallops, lobster, and lobster bisque are easily the best in Nashville, and we've dined at every high-class restaurant Music City has to offer! The butter poached lobster mashed potatoes are incredible, extra creamy topped with buttery lobster and a beurre blanc sauce. The truffle mac is equally stupendous, with a three-cheese blend, truffle oil, and thinly shaved truffles imported from France! While most upscale restaurants tend to make a very strong truffle mac that has overpowering flavors, the chef at Eddie V's manages to make this, and all dishes, subtle and flavorful without overdoing it. Just as amazing as the seafood are the steaks. Since they had a Japanese A5 Wagyu in the building at $40 an ounce, something they don't have every night, I took advantage of that! As expected, the highest grade of Japanese beef did not disappoint, and the chef prepared it to perfection. That impossibly tender steak seasoned beautifully just meted in my mouth, probably the second best steak I've eaten in Nashville! The ponzu sauce, one of three that accompanied the steak, was delicious. The Korean inspired gochujang was also good, but maybe not perfect for this style of steak. But the wasabi paste was the winner, a perfect compliment to the beef without being very spicy, just wonderfully flavorful. Like all dishes here, they've impeccably balanced flavor with subtly! The desserts aren't bad either, but they pale in comparison to the beef, seafood, and side dishes!
