I really like the vibe of OAK! Looks real nice inside and the service is great. The food: - The rolls are delicious soft and buttery. - The Caesar is one of the best steakhouse salads I've had. -The Steak was cooked well but lacked flavor wish it had more SALT kind of a let down. - The Brussels was the highlight of the night sweet & savory. Hand a nice crisp best thing of the night!

A great steakhouse in the heart of Nashville. We were there for the rock 'n' roll Nashville marathon and we're looking for a place to eat after the race. The place is beautiful and elegant. The food was delicious and service was great. Our steaks were perfectly cooked, the asparagus was al dente, mashed were creamy and delicious, and the Mac & cheese was next level.

Beautiful decor, wonderful servers, and great food! This is a long overdue review since I came here for Thanksgiving. I loved my experience here with my family. They served a Thanksgiving meal which wasn't as popular so most of us got something from the menu. The scallops are amazing!! The brussel sprouts are good too. I wouldn't necessarily recommend the Mac & Cheese. It was good but could have been better. They offer valet parking at the hotel and you have to take a big set of stairs to use the restroom. They have elevator access if you can't use stairs. I recommend this restaurant if you're visiting Nashville. It's not located inside the hotel, it has its own entrance. It's a beautiful place to take pictures and have drinks.

Came here on my birthday and service and food were spectacular. I had two sides as my meal and the potions were huge. They were also very accommodating to my husband's gluten and dairy allergies took good care of him.

Late post.... Had dinner here a couple of weeks ago. The restaurant is beautiful. We had Colin as our server and he was awesome. We were a big party and he was amazing. Food was good and atmosphere was great. I would recommend.

Oak has one of the most beautiful atmospheres in Nashville. The woodwork, the wine library, the open kitchen and the details are incredible. The food was fantastic. Oysters are always a hit for me. The scallops were in the top three I've ever eaten and the bacon is a must when you come here. The four star rating today is due to our waiter dropping off for way to long once we were about halfway through dinner, drinks taking too long and coming out very spastically and while the ice cream was fantastic, the desserts were a miss. The cookie was hard and felt like it was a few days old and the cheesecake was just okay. Would I go back? Absolutely. Is it my first choice? Probably not.

Oak Steakhouse is typical of high end places, but executes the exercise better than most. The menu is classic and the wine list is excellent, service perfect. Great!

Another awesome Bourbon recommended by head Bartender Will.

Absolutely fantastic place. Friday sat at the bar and had a 5oz steak with mashed potatoes. Cooked perfectly. Enjoyed several of the numerous Bourbons. Saturday also sat at the bar (place was extremely crowded on Saturday evening) on Saturday had the caramelized burger with fries and mushrooms. Once again awesome. Cooked to my liking. Had a wonderful glass of Malbec and again several bourbons. Atmosphere and ambience superb. The best part of the place is the head bartender Will. Extremely knowledgeable on all Bourbons and wines. Tried several he suggested and they were awesome (see photos). On Saturday he was joined behind the bar by Michael. Same experience. When I'm back in Nashville I'll be sure to stop in here again. A wonderful experience.

If your looking for an upscale dinner with wonderful service, delicious food, and tons of wine selections this is your place! This is the 2nd time we came here for a birthday dinner and it was perfect, all of the staff were so accommodating and friendly and the food was delicious! I LOVED the roasted carrots!

Came here to celebrate my sister's 50th and we're pleased with the experience. The decor was great and staff super nice. The craft cocktails were tasty and on point. As for the food, the chicken was out of this world flavorful, the chocolate cake rich but very good as well as the arancini and fries. We felt that the Caesar salad lacked a little flavor while the crab cakes were a bit salty and fishy. My brother's ribeye was overcooked while my 12 ounce filet at medium was closer to medium rare. However, the flavors on the steaks were good. There was more good than bad and we loved the personalized menu that they created for my sister.

Great layout for my bachelor party near the tv.

Celebrated my bachelor party while the Dodgers were in the World Series in casual costumes. I won't tell you how much they went above and beyond but I'll show you the custom menus, amazing food, spectacular service, and you bet I will be back. Thank you to our wonderful server Lindsey and full staff for making this such an epic experience. The real MVP's!!

    48oz Tomahawk

First the good: beautiful restaurant, great service, butter cake. And the okay: Parker rolls, mashed potatoes, cookie sundae. Now the bad: oysters Rockefeller were the size of clams, beef tallow fries tasted good but literally every single fry was broken like they were the pieces you'd find at the bottom of the pan, Mac and cheese was way too al dente, NY strip was underseasoned and really needed the au poivre sauce which we asked for later, and most disappointing of all was the Tomahawk medium rare. This was the fattiest piece of meat I have ever seen in my life. I've had Tomahawk before and yes it's supposed to have fat but this was beyond. More than half of it was fat and the actual meat that was left was chewy and not tender at all. We were two adults with two teens and for our bill to be $450 I was expecting a lot more. I really wanted to like this place but a restaurant that calls itself a steakhouse at this price point really needs to excel in actually cooking steak.

The salmon was beautifully prepared with fresh vegetables that complemented it perfectly. The filet was fork-tender with an incredible sauce, while the osso buco was melt-in-your-mouth delicious and paired beautifully with sides. The venison was tender, perfectly cooked, and seasoned to perfection. Dessert was unforgettable. The chocolate mousse à la mode was rich yet light, paired with creamy vanilla ice cream and a hint of passion fruit. Three of us ordered that. We knew it would not be for sharing. The blueberry sundae featured the best blueberries we've ever tasted. And then there was the chocolate peanut butter brownie ice cream. As someone who's spent years trying chocolate peanut butter ice cream everywhere-from roadside shops to gelato in Italy-I can confidently say ETCH's version deserves to be considered one of the best in the world. The creamy chocolate and peanut butter, combined with rich brownie pieces, made it absolutely unforgettable. Normally I'd recommend a favorite dish, but I can't-because everything we ordered was exceptional. My advice? Go with a group, order a variety of dishes, and share everything. Every appetizer, entrée, side, and dessert that hit our table was outstanding, and every single person left talking about their favorites. Deb Paquette is a visionary and deserves a standing ovation The quality of the food, the creativity of the menu, the impeccable service, and the very reasonable prices make ETCH absolutely worth the trip. It's rare to find a restaurant where every single dish exceeds expectations, but ETCH did exactly that. We left already planning our next visit. I am still thinking about the ice cream and how I can get some delivered to my house.

We chose the restaurant to celebrate my daughter's birthday and, as we have done on previous visits, ordered the Chef's Special for our party of three. While we were surprised to see the price had increased by $15 per person since our last visit, we expected the same high-quality dining experience that has always made the restaurant a favorite. Unfortunately, the service and pacing fell well short of those expectations. Dinner lasted more than two hours from start to finish, with excessive waits between nearly every course. What should have been an enjoyable celebratory meal became increasingly frustrating as the evening progressed. Our server appeared attentive and engaged with surrounding tables throughout the night, yet we frequently felt overlooked. There were extended periods where we were unable to get refills or assistance, leaving us feeling forgotten and, quite literally, thirsty. By the end of the evening, we had to request that the "sweet treat" be packaged to go, and the response from our server came across as irritated rather than accommodating. This was our first time being seated on the outdoor patio, but regardless of seating location, the level of service should be consistent throughout the restaurant. In the end, we spent well over $300 and left feeling frustrated, exhausted, and disappointed rather than celebrated. For a restaurant that has built a reputation on exceptional food, hospitality, and attention to detail, this experience missed the mark. Significant price increases are easier to accept when they are accompanied by an equally elevated dining experience.
