    Steakhouse Mac & Cheese

I came in an hour before closing on Saturday. Went to the bar and immediately was able to see as it was empty. I opted for the red sangria and too my surprise it was very sweet. I prefer a more natural sangria so for me. I opted for the filet and lobster tail with Mac & cheese. The filet had a strong grill flavor and was pretty undercooked and more of a medium rare rather than medium. Not really my taste but my partner enjoyed it at home. The lobster was cooked great just wish it had butter. The Mac & cheese was surprisingly the best! The crunchy breadcrumbs on top were perfect. The potato's were great too and perfect with the melted butter. For coming in less than an hour before close I wasn't disappointed.

Went here for a Sunday lunch with my boyfriend and his grandma. I loved how much food we got. Got left overs. The wait after ordering was a tiny bit longer than expected especially because it didn't seem that busy. I'm not one to really complain about that though with a business as I know some have their busy days but just something to note of. Grandma gave me a warning that they usually don't put enough sour cream on the baked potato, making it semi dry. So she ordered extra for me and her. Additionally she requested for A1 sauce. After about 10-20 minutes we noticed they never brought it out so we reasked for it and then it was quickly brought out. A starter salad came before my lemon chicken and it was pretty solid and they had a lot of dressing options. Ended up going with the white balsamic. The chicken was pretty divine. That lemon on top paired so nicely with it. The baked potato was good but I agree with Grandma that they could do a little more with the toppings to reduce that dryness. Still was enjoyable though. Both my boyfriend and grandma thoroughly enjoyed their briskets along with asparagus as well.

Find steaks grilled to perfection, by very favorite is the longhorn Porterhouse. One can feast like a king.... But there will be no room for dessert. When I am craving for that Texan grilled beef, this is my place to be.

The sirloin steak dinner for $17 with 2 sides feels like a good deal. Everything was cooked really well and service was friendly and fast for how busy it was. Also the beer came out in a frosted glass and that'll always be a big plus for me.

We love LongHorn steakhouse! I don't think I've ever had a bad meal here. The steaks and seafood are good, and so is the incredible parmesan-crusted chicken. I'm also partial to the shrimp and lobster chowder. This restaurant is pretty big, but it's never been crowded when I'm there, so there's something of an intimate feeling. Never had any complaints about the service, either. However, I'm sad that the delicious steak sandwich is no longer on the lunch special menu!

My days of going to Longhorn started back in Maryland with my female coworkers when it was "cow day" or "we're having hormones, so it's time for red meat and chocolate (referring to the chocolate stampede cake). It never disappointed! I went this time with my husband, since we're no longer in Maryland, and my parents sent a gift card to use. We had great service... and food came out quickly. The steaks were great and cooked just the way we wanted them. No chocolate stampede for us this time, but we did get the strawberry shortcake!

Ordered strawberry margarita which was great. Appetizer of fried onion pieces was the weak link. Not real hot and a lot of fried topping. I had full rack of ribs, nice sauce, could have been hotter and more tender. There was plenty of meat on ribs. Sides were broccoli cooked perfect and Mac n cheese was a side up charge, but very tasty. Husband had ceasar salad he enjoyed. Nine ounce filet was cooked as ordered, nice seasoning on top. Other side was baked potato. Other diner had spicy chicken pieces she liked. Server Frankie was knowledgeable and friendly. Would return.

This was our first time trying this restaurant. I really wanted a steak and saw this place while we drove home. So we pulled it. It was about 7:30pm on a Friday night. This location looked nice and while not crowded it looked lively. We had a wait a bit for someone to notice us and get us seated. The food was extremely reasonably priced. I had a salad and loaded baked potato with the Outlaw Ribeye. The food was better than I had expected. Only drawback was our server. He wasn't friendly or personable. He didn't really do anything unless we asked. Other servers actually helped more than our own. All in all it was good food and the service was blah.

Probably the 8th time coming here and this time was by far the best service and food we had yet. Food and apps came out in a timely manner. Steaks were cooked to request of medium rare. Salmon was soft and the shrimp were delicious. Spinach dip is always a good choice and comes with a lot of pita bread. The only negative take always was this was the second time they were out of lamb chops unfortunately. Also no matter who the Host is, they never smile or seem like they want to seat you. Other than that the cooks and chef did a splendid job and the server was great! Will come again!

We came here for a casual dinner on a Saturday night, and started off with the value Jack and joke and their margarita for $5. I must say, for their drinks it was delicious for the price with the right amount of alcohol! We saw there was a new appetizer which was Parmesan crusted spinach dip. My fiancé LOVES spinach dip so of course we had to get this. It was so delicious! The bread that came with it was amazing, it was crispy and chewy and fit so perfectly with the dip. Our entrees were half rack of ribs with signature Mac and cheese and i got the 12 oz ribeye with mash potatoes. So to start off with our meats, the ribs had like such little meat on it. It was good, but we felt like it could of had more meat. My ribeye was cooked to perfection!! The downer was that I thought my mash potatoes would be loaded as the waiter mentioned but it was not, it was actually very tasteless and it could definitely up a notch. The mac and cheese as always delicious. Our waiter was very tentative the whole time so great service! We always love dining here despise some kinks.

"Don't worry honey, it's okay to look, and also throw money at the half-naked women! I promise you won't get in trouble!" Uh-huh. ;) Alright, I digress. Awkwardness aside, Prohibition is a really great place to enjoy a classy dinner, where the meat is served on a place AND on stage, and the cheesecake comes with the price of admission! Speaking of admission, as my wife and I were guests, being shepherded along by our friend, I cannot recall exactly what the "cover charge" was (not much, if I remember correctly...less than $20 for two?), and if reservations are *required*, I cannot say for certain, but I would say they are *recommended* at the very least, because our showtime was packed. Anyway, once paid, you are escorted through a secret bookcase door (SLC residents sure do love their speakeasies, don't they?), and into the dining hall and saloon, where you're soon to have your socks knocked off...well, someone's clothes are coming off, anyway! We were given a table that I dismissively thought was tucked away pretty far in the back and out of the way, but it ended up being one of the best seats in the house, as the table where the performers gathered, prepped, and returned to was just adjacent to us, so we were about as up close and personal as you can get, without getting yourselves arrested. Each of the dancers brought their own style, flair, and wardrobe to their performances, which were spirited and energetic, and a touch racy, without devolving into outright debauchery. It may be an (18+? 21+?) venue, but alcohol restrictions aside, I wouldn't hesitate to take older, more mature teens to a show with similar content. We ordered a smattering of smaller dishes, as we weren't particularly hungry, but the Mishima Wagyu tacos were fantastic (as you would expect), as was the Fedora Fin (Za'atar-crusted ahi tuna), and all of our cocktails. As the show is timed event with multiple performances per night, both food and bev are fired out of the kitchen/bar faster than the bullets from a Tommy Gun, but with far better accuracy. The whole operation here was honestly very impressive, from start to finish. Coming from a progressive city like Portland, it's always struck me a little odd that places that, by reputation, strike you as more conservative end up having some of the best, most wild entertainment venues, that you only wish you had back home. Prohibition is one of these places that I would rather see in my downtown, instead of the litany of seedy strip joints pushing for maximum titilation, but with only a fraction of the class and sophistication. Prohibition is good, clean fun, masquerading as something illicit, which is the heart of what makes it work so well.
