The ambiance here is nicely dim lit, there is plenty of booth seating and tables, I like the atmosphere but it can be loud if you're seated where the servers come out with food like I have been a couple times. What I don't like are the floors. They're slippery, like a layer of humidity or oil slick on them and you really should be very careful walking around the restaurant. I don't know if that was a "summer" thing or not but I almost fell and so did my friend. I ordered a NY strip steak, medium well with sweet potato and broccoli, passing on the salad. All of it was tasty, if my steak wasn't a little too well, it would have been perfect. We had the spinach artichoke dip and it was so good, I wish I had some right now as I write this three days later. It comes with soft pita chips, perfection. We also tried the shrimp appetizer, so good! My friends enjoyed the Parmesan crusted steak, everything was really good. Our waitress was nice, no complaints there but I will complain about the women's restroom. Not sure what was happening there but it looked like someone ripped off the plastic to get to the covered toilet tissue and the wallpaper in the stall I enter was a shambles and ripped. The lock on my stall was also loose, almost coming off. They need to tend to this, the restrooms say a lot about the establishment so I hope they take care of this soon. We were there over last weekend to celebrate a milestone. We should have gone elsewhere! First off, our waiter pushed us off to another. The other seemed to be elsewhere, as it showed in her "work" and little attention. Ordered two soups. Got one but two spoons! Wife was eating her salad and two bites later, here's a soup too! A bit rushed, eh? Wife finished salad and now eating cold soup. We ate the bread and asked for more bread for the soup. She acknowledged our wish for more bread. Whereeee's the soup? Now wife is finished with salad AND cold soup. Finally, MY soup arrives. Still no bread. Let's move on. The wife's main meal arrives. Me: still eating soup, because it was too hot. Still NO bread. Finally, my salmon with asparagus and brussels sprouts. Eating finally, and my wife has not eaten, so that I wouldn't eat alone. Her chicken is cold now. She soon stops eating. I am eating the salmon but stop also. The "waitress" comes by and we ask if we could get some take out containers. She comes back eventually with a single tiny container. Guessing she forgot there's two of us.... Still no bread! We ask for our bill and just want to leave, however I am now eyeing the Strawberry Shortcake, since this WAS a special occasion, turned into a very sad joke. We should've have gone elsewhere. It was cooked to order, although the strip side had a bit of char. The steak was too salty to fully enjoy its flavor (a problem common in chains but still cook's fault). The bigger problem is that the steak was not a quality cut. The filet side had gristle and was quite small and mangled. The strip side had good texture and cook. We've been to a few Longhorn restaurants before and we love their menu, juicy steaks, and delicious appetizers. Longhorn of Niagara Falls met and exceeded our expectations. All ordered food was scrumptious and we truly enjoyed it. Our waitress Jazlynn was polite and attentive. Steaks were cooked properly and to the asked temperature. Portions were very generous. It's ok, I don't like horseradish though, so a different dipping sauce would have given this a 10/10. 1/2Lb Steakhouse Cheeseburger Combo Burger - medium rare 6/10 This was actually cooked pretty rare. The outside was browned but the ENTIRE inside was a medium/dark pink (not just the light pink center how it should have been). Also the burger itself had absolutely no flavor. Didn't taste the cheese. Tomato was a little too thick, took over your palette. And the thin strands of lettuce fell off so easily. The signature sauce was pretty salty but it was good on the burger. This would be good as a dipping sauce for the onion petals too. Seasoning the burger and cooking it properly would have raised the rating. We went to Longhorns on 04/18/25 to celebrate our last day of vacation and was so disappointed. 1st I ordered my cocktail with no ice but got ice, we didn't complain, big mistake. My wife ordered the Ribeye and I ordered the Filet with Lobster tail. We waited and waited, finally were asked if we wanted bread, okay. Being from the restaurant business, we knew the was gonna be a nightmare. We waited and no salads.and waited , we new the slald and entree would probably arrive at the same time. Here comes the entrees 1st then a waiter comes with the salads, my wife "very frustrated" said to the server " why is the entree here before the salad" the waitress apologized but did nothing. My order came with shrimp " I ordered Lobster" I told the waitress and she took the shrimp back and left the steak & potato. I wasn't gonna eat anything because our food got so cold, the baked potatoes we're gross. Finally after a long while I got a lobster tail, I really wanted to send it all back but we didn't. The entire dinner was cold & horrible, we only ate about 1/2 the food, payed the $90.00 tab and left. Completely stressed out environment!! Wait staff seemed frazzled. How are people supposed to ENJOY a meal with wait staff running around bumping into each other with sour looks on their faces?? All our orders came out at different times and none of it was great. The Brussels sprouts were not as good as at the Orchard Park location. Also, it wasn't as clean and nice, either. The patrons at this location were LOUD and obnoxious. Maybe it was just that night but we could barely hear one another because of all the racket of everybody's loud voices! Seems they didn't learn about inside voice vs outside voice. Once we placed our orders,it took a very long time for them to make it to our table. Most of the prices were insane !! My fiancé & I both got the 9oz Steak Filet. I got a Baked potato with butter & sour cream & Wild Rice . He got mashed potatoes & broccoli. $28.00 each & our sides were so small,it was ridiculous. Our steaks were very small. This was the Saltiest meal I've ever had. They loaded everything on my plate with salt. I am not a "salt" person to begin with,but this was nuts !! I believe that if someone wants salt on their food,they should add it themselves. It ruined my whole dinner. Others said the same thing. Their burgers & fries & chicken fingers were salted. Thought we'd have a quick dinner so we called ahead. It wasn't very busy but still had to wait about 15min. Finally sat down, no cutlery on the table or brought to us, we had to ask for bread. We finally got bread when the salads came out. Asked for no tomato in the salad but I got tomato, better yet I got a hair in my food, right on top, plain as day. We asked for a manager, and we asked for the food to go because we waited 50 mins for salads, but still had no cutlery. Got comped $18 on the whole bill, the waiter didn't leave a pen to sign the check and walked away. I just left it blank. She was a little upset that I didn't sign it. But I told her I would have needed a pen. I signed it once she eventually got a pen. When the food did come out to go, the order was wrong, it was missing a lobster tail and all they were worried about was if we paid for it or not. They did offer to make it, but we weren't waiting around for the slow kitchen. The manager wasn't good, I told him we wouldn't be back and he's response was "I understand". If it was me, I would've comped the entire meal for this disaster. Good job to the hostess she was the best for customer service. In all, DO BETTER!, that's what people are actually paying for is the service. We can cook at home, and that's what we'll be doing from now on, we won't be back to Long Horn. read more

No complaints about the waitress either. Bread was warm and fresh. My mashed potatoes were good but they were cold. My chicken was fresh and hot; so maybe the potatoes were plated too soon and got cold that way. Although the chicken was hot, the texture wasn't the greatest. The flavor wasn't as if it were microwaved but the texture was. I did enjoy the brussle sprouts! Nice and crispy! It was ok for a one time experience on the fly but not good enough to come back. Longhorn Steakhouse is probably my favourite chain establishment in the US. This place has done me well over the last decade and the Niagara Falls location was no different. I came here over the weekend thanks to my girlfriend getting a free gift card and it was a great experience. I decided to order a prime rib with mashed potatoes, wedge salad, and a side order of the chicken bites. Before I discuss the food I ordered I did consume an ungodly amount of bread before the actual food came and this place does bread right. Okay, now the real food! Chicken Bites- The appetizer was scrumptious and I'm a huge fan of the sauce these guys use as well. Wedge Salad- although I think it's ridiculous that any salad had an up-charge, it was very good and I very much enjoyed the dressing that was on it. Mashed Potato- I consider myself a mashed potato man over everything else and these ones are very good. Prime Rib- This place knows how to cook a steak better then pretty much every other chain I've been too. The meat was rare, juicy, and full of flavour. I loved it! Basically, Longhorn Steakhouse is good and if you are reading this you should probably eat here. Stopped here tonight for dinner. Was very surprised the place was not very busy. When we got our food we understood why. My flo's filet was terrible. The meat was tough and stringy. They had cute holiday decorations but otherwise it was a no-frills steakhouse. I ordered my meat medium but there was only a bite still pink, so I'd under order next time. Also ordered Parmesan crust which they forgot to add, and by the time they came to check on us, I had eaten most of it so it was pointless when they offered to "add it on quickly" so they took it off the bill. As you can see from the photo, there isn't any presentation involved in the meal, and my sweet potato was three times the size of another sweet potato at my table so I won that lottery. It was loaded with several healing tablespoons of sugar so be aware if you say yes to cinnamon sugar, it's A LOT of sugar. Salad was also quite large but had minimal Caesar dressing on it so it was hard to finish without toppings. Bathrooms were big and clean. read more

Just not a good experience at the Niagara Falls location. Expectations for a chain restaurant start off pretty low for me. But I thought we would give them a try. Longhorn managed to disappoint in so many ways. Extremely slow service as we were there over two hours. Waiter tried to charge for a drink not received. They ran out of Riesling wine and made a Manhattan so poorly it had to be returned. Quality of the steak is even lower that I can remember as they must be using select cuts (or lower) and relying on tenderizers to make it edible. Some lesser issues that disappointed are: serving appetizer on a cracked dish, did not offer more bread, appetizers not deliver at the same time, cold/old fries, and no soap in the bathroom. Plus notes: server was nice... but no amount of niceness can make up for what went wrong. The two appetizers we had were very tasty. Salads were also very good. Sorry Longhorn. I'm not sure what happened to your restaurant but we won't be going back for a long, long time, if ever. read more
