The Western Door Steakhouse does not disappoint. There is real talent in their kitchen, they prepare meat, exactly as you ask them to, including rare. They are generous with their sauces, and their menu offerings are unique and even adventurous. Everything is done properly. Not extravagantly, but properly. The table settings are all functional, the dishes are clean, the wait staff know the menu and are happy to discuss details and pairings. Their tapwater is filtered and does not have an odor of chlorine. The wine list is more than adequate and they serve wine correctly and at the right temperatures. This restaurant is classy, but informal, and depending upon where you are seated, can even be intimate. The portion sizes are just right and their prices are in line for Western New York. I didn't see the various magnificent seafood towers that I have gotten in the past, but they do have some chilled seafood appetizers that were satisfying. Reservations were made online and they send text reminders. This restaurant continues to run efficiently, even more efficiently than in the past. It keeps getting better. We will keep coming back.

So the service we received was the best I've had in a long time! Our servers , Max, Ryan & Thomas were on point, attentive & ensured we had everything we ordered & asked for! The appetizers & bread/dipping oil was delicious. We had the claims casino & pork belly. Our steaks which we all ordered medium but more med rare our lobster tails were a little dry but the sides were great! I was grateful Max warned us that the sides were more table side and large!! I ended with the crème' brûlée of course I ate it too fast and didn't take a pic!!

I took my son here for his birthday, we was seated promptly. A couple of things was explained on the menu, bread and dipping oil was brought to the table along with the menus. My son ordered the prime rib, med rare and it came out medium, it was sent back, and as an add on he got shrimp, the shrimp was over cooked, so he sent it back, and they never brought out another one. We both got Caesar salads, the croutons was made from the bread that they brought out, and they were inedible they were hard as rocks, the crab cakes, came out with a smear of romulad, so we asked for more, and the crab cakes were small, we shared the asparagus, but next time please remove the fibrous bottoms, the shareable baked potato was MEH, very forgettable. I ordered the rack of lamb med rare, which was encrusted in pistachios, and missing the pomegranate glaze, but they put the seeds on the plate, and the lamb was close to being put back in the field. A meal that was over $200.00, we were very, very disappointed, I feel that this place is geared more to the gamblers, and drinkers. The service was okay and the atmosphere was great, I really enjoyed the music selections. Would i go back to eat again NOPE!!!!!!!!, what can improve? Clearly better cooks!!!

I finally had the opportunity to dine here and it did not disappoint. The ambience was very chic and elegant. I enjoyed it and it felt unique in comparison to other fine dining establishments. Service was great. It was a little strange having multiple waiters and I'm not sure why it was like that but they were all very kind. They brought out two different breads and one was infused with I believe rosemary and garlic and I loved the bread! Really didn't need any butter. I had the onion rings on recommendation from my coworker and they were excellent! Nice and crispy but not greasy with a nice zesty sauce. The mashed potatoes I felt had too much garlic, just like the ones at Allegany. Me and my friend both had the filet and each was slightly undercooked but not so much it was worth complaining about. I just chose not to eat the couple bites at the center. Other than that it was flavored well. I had mine with the herb butter. I wish they would incorporate a blue cheese butter to their options. But nonetheless it was good. We were really cold in there. We could feel a cold breeze on us and we were dressed in pants and long sleeves. I would recommend to dress warm and bring layers. Skip the sleeveless dress and open toe heels.

Dined here last night during my one night stay at the resort. Restaurant is beautiful and I loved the round booth seating. Our waiter was extremely friendly and took very good care of us. I was feeling a little under the weather so we didn't finish our full meal but our waiter made sure we had to go boxes with plenty of condiments to take with us. I had the NY strip steak with Oscar Style and sweet potatoe medallions. They were very good. Steak was not as well done as I like it but it still was very tender and flavorful. The sweet potatoes were AMAZING. Would definitely dine here again!

Not usually a casino restaurant type of person as they are usually overpriced and quality is never good. However I did enjoy this experience. Again, away for work, so sat at the bar solo and enjoyed my meal. Chatted with the bartender and the drunk elderly lady (not by choice) who was sitting next to me asking me a thousand questions. I started with the classic wedge as I was in the mood. Pretty good presentation, two big iceberg wedges, blue cheese dressing was good, could have used a little more. A few croutons and some bacon crumbles. It was good, I'd order again. Opted for the 8oz filet, medium, which was cooked more rare than medium, but that's ok. The cut was pretty good and had nice flavor to it. Also got some fresh crushed pepper on top. The red pepper added some flavor to. Good touch. For my side, creamed Spinach, which was pretty good. I was glad I went with this option. I wanted others but also didn't want to get weighed down. The two bartenders who were working were friendly .

The food on this place was amazing! My prime rib was delicious in every way, we also had sides of asparagus and potatoes and it was definitely good. The bread was also fresh and soft and it perfectly paired well with the balsamic oil dip. Our server was very nice and was doing his best even though they were slammed, it took a while for the food to arrive but it was worth the wait because the meal was amazing. It's definitely a nice date place to go and once again I'd just like to acknowledge our nice server who I didn't get his name but was very nice. But the date that we went was on September 17 2024, our whole group enjoyed our first trip here.

My husband and I set reservations here for our 13th Anniversary. It was set at 9pm but when we arrived they were still so slammed we waited about 20mins to be seated. The dress code is very formal no hats, jerseys etc. allowed. Very fancy and beautiful place to dine in for a date night or special event. Our server was prompt and made sure our drinks and appetizers were delivered at a timely manner. The food was good, we ordered 2 entrees plus sides and enjoyed our night. We were stuffed, plenty to take back to the hotel. It was super convenient to have the restaurant all in one with the resort. That was a bonus. They also have a room overlooking the entire casino which I would definitely ask for, next time. Thank you!

Service from the bartender was great. He offered up some suggestions, which I needed because they have a large menu loaded with so many appetizing and amazing looking options. I started with their potstickers... They came out with a hard, fried shell and the dipping sauce went nicely with them. Enough to share, or even enough to enjoy and still have room for an entrée. My main dish was their Chicken & Waffle. This isn't some ordinary chicken and waffle, it's definitely an amped up version, made with unique and interesting ingredients, culminating in great flavors! The chicken was so large and very tender - it was amazing! The bacon and sauce on top went with it nicely, and the chive waffle was great with it! Each bite was definitely amazing! This was a great experience, I can see why they have so many reviews and such high stars, those are well-deserved stars!! Definitely recommend stopping in here!

The atmosphere was calm and relaxing, which made it even more enjoyable. I ordered fried calamari along with single chicken wings tossed in an Asian sweet and spicy sauce--both dishes were flavorful and satisfying. The combination of crispy textures and bold flavors really stood out. What made the experience even better was the service. Our server was amazing--attentive, friendly, and truly great at her job. She made us feel welcome from the start. I always enjoy trying new places, and this visit did not disappoint. Our server was super friendly and knowledgeable. The meal always starts with fresh baked bread service that is accompanied by butter, house pickles and either a hummus or garlic confit (in my experience). My mom is gluten free so she was bought her own dish with focaccia and a roll. She was over the moon about that and really enjoyed the focaccia. Some of our choices included charcuterie, arugula salad, tamarind shrimp curry, salmon and lemon meringue cheesecake. The restaurant has an open kitchen concept so you can see much of what is going on "behind the scenes". Upon entering the restaurant, we were appropriately greeted by staff who were very personable, respectful, and informative. The same attentive and personable service was given by the entire staff. We were able to ask questions about how the restaurant operates, being that it is operated by the Culinary Institute and its students and alumni. I'll spare you the details but it is an interesting dynamic. The food was excellent. We went for dinner and while there is a limited menu, the options were varied enough that anyone would be able to find something they will enjoy. This might be the most affordable three course meal I've had this decade. The food was prepared perfectly, the presentation was impeccable, and the service provided leaves nothing to be desired. The entire operation is run calmly and very efficiently. I am happy to have had the opportunity to dine at Savor and it is going on my short list of highly recommended upscale restaurants for anyone looking for a nice dinner at an affordable price.
