I went with dragonfruit and the lemonade was flavorful and perfect for me with not being too sweet nor tart. For starters I chose a chowder as it is a part of the Friday menu to choose from. They have both red and white and I chose the latter. It was smooth, cream full of a good mix of veggies and clams. For the main I went with bacon cheeseburger and I don't know just how to articulate how much of a comfort burger this is but boy oh boy it was a great diner style burger! They serve light lunch and dinner fare including sandwich/burger plates, salads, soup/chowder, appetizers, loaded spuds, specials, plus fish & chips and baked cod on Fridays & Saturdays. They also serve breakfast on the weekends. The bar offers a few beers on tap and cans and mixed drinks. There is seating around the bar, table seating and booths overlooking the golf course. I took a seat up at the bar and started out with water, which was a bottle of Poland Spring ($1.50) served with a glass of ice. I ordered the Fish & Chips ($14.99 plus tax) which took about 22 minutes to come out. The plate was comprised of a large crispy deep fried beer battered cod filet, standard fries, tartar sauce, and a cup of sweet coke slaw (wet texture), malt vinegar and ketchup bottles brought over. The food was a bit greasy, but it tasted just fine. After I was done, I requested the check which was $17.69 with tax and before tip. Overall, a good filling lunch and adequate bar service.

The fries were good. They were like regular fries, but with some parmesan cheese sprinkled on top and a parmesan dipping sauce. I also ordered some secret sauce for my fries because I went down a Reddit rabbit hole and was compelled to try it. I was not impressed and it indeed tasted a lot like ketchup and mayo, with maybe a couple other things. We stayed for the full match including overtime.
