I was debating between giving two or three stars for this review, but just can't give it three because I feel that means I could possibly go back - and I have no plans on doing that with this location. The experience was very disappointing for us. We usually go to the one in Bala but were closer to this one, so thought why not check it out - we won't do that again. The service was slower which felt odd since it was Monday and not many people in there, but seemed like our waiter was the one serving everyone so it made sense it took him a while sometimes. The Wild West Shrimp was still decent, but our entrees didn't taste as good or the same quality that we've had at the other location. The presentation of the food also left a lot to be desired. On top of that, when my boyfriend went to pick up his silverware, I saw a piece of hair on the napkin - and it was a long curly piece/strand, hard to miss. Of course we asked for another one and when they brought him another one out, he saw another one on the new set so had to ask for another one (showed them where it was). That made both of us kind of lose our appetite a bit and threw the whole meal off even more We decided we won't be dining in at this one moving forward and will just stick to the one on City Ave whenever we decide/want to go to a chain restaurant like this.

Typical LongHorn chain restaurant. Consistently goofed food at a fair price. Service is sometimes slow or a little apathetic but not horrible. This location is cleaner than some others. Like many chains, LongHorn has fallen off a little over the years. The care and status has dropped but food is good for price and quality.

Me & a few coworkers took our work grandma out to eat for her retirement dinner. We had the Wild West shrimp, wings, and the spinach dip and pitta bread as apps. It was actually my first time there and it was good. My main plate was the 6oz renegade sirloin with the 8ct shrimp it comes with a bed of rice, I got a side of mash and a Cesar salad. I had the strawberry lemonade. Service was okay, I think our work grandma was confusing her some. I was certainly come back.

Outlaw Ribeye with Crispy Brussels Sprouts and Sweet Potato

First all I want to say the service was amazing. Brandy was sweet and attentive. My kids were asking questions left and right and with the many "why" questions she answer every one of them with a smile. On a Sunday night it wasn't too crowded, food was quick and came out nice and hot. The outlaw ribeye was my least favorite tho. It felt a little chewy even tho it was medium rare. The color looks great on the inside but the texture was eh. The LH burger was quite good with lots of condiments with it. Very flavorful and juicy. The rack of ribs were on the skinner side and the parm crusted chicken was a little on the salty side for me. My favorite side was the Brussels sprouts! Not burnt but have the crisp. My kids love the house made mac and cheese, I'm not sure why they didn't offer that for the kids menu and opt in the Kraft Mac and cheese on their menu. For dessert we had the molten lava cake and shared that with 3 adults and 2 kids. Perfect amount after a big meal. I must of not mention their bread was hot and delicious. My waitress was super generous and kept bringing more out

First time going to this Longhorn. Went went around 9 on a Saturday and it was pretty empty. I definitely expected it to be busier but it was pretty quiet. It seemed a little disorganized but nothing crazy. Our server was the BEST! He welcomed us right away and was on top of everything. He was refilling our drinks and checking in with us before we ever noticed that we needed anything. The food was really good. This was my first time tasting the Texas Tonion and it was really good. It's a must have appetizer. The ribeye was cooked perfectly but the broccoli looked like it wasn't properly washed before it was cooked. The broccoli bottoms weren't the best. Overall, it was a great experience and a good dinner!

December 3, 2022 Party of 5 Atmosphere - 4 stars: Your standard chain Texas style decor', with a very loud dining area. The dining area was clean and properly greeted. Service - 5 stars: Our server was very polite and knowledgeable about menu items and food preparation. One in our party had a gluten and soy allergy, and our server Gina was amazing in getting the food right. Gina was such an amazing server the entire meal. Food - 5 stars: Ordered the 12oz ribeye with a lobster tail add-on. The steak temperature was perfect, and lobster tail was delicious. Portion sizes were good, and everyone enjoyed their meal. Their Brussel Sprout were amazing and a must-have side dish.

The inside has a great cozy vibe, feeling like a small, quaint pub where you just want to settle in and stay awhile, which in fact we did. We started our meal with two incredible appetizers. First, we built an amazing cheese and ham charcuterie board, choosing 5 different cheeses that were all fantastic. We also ordered the Whipped Ricotta, which was out-of-this-world delicious. The maple syrup drizzle was a perfect touch, and it paired beautifully with the pumpkin seed puree and grilled bread. For my main course, I went with the Beer-Battered Fish & Chips. The fish was cooked absolutely perfectly, crispy on the outside, flaky on the inside, and just super tasty overall. The portion was pretty amazing too. It came served with parmesan chips, malt mayo, malt vinegar, and tartar sauce, which completed the dish perfectly. Even though I was stuffed, I couldn't resist dessert. The cinnamon beignets were light, fluffy, and the absolute perfect ending to a phenomenal meal. The other component I'll mention is there were four of us dining and every single one of us thought the food was just terrific! Not a single complaint! I should also mention the service was attentive and pleasant. Society Hill has a lot of dining options, but this place completely stands out. I'd definitely go back! Highly recommend!

In a way, I'm glad I had the opportunity to get to know this legendary restaurant in Philadelphia's Headhouse Square before I reviewed it. Bridget Foy's reopened in 2020 after a fire had devastated the restaurant - it had been called East Philly Cafe, opened by Bridget's parents in 1984. I've had several dishes - but most often either the Buttermilk Chicken Sandwich or the burger. Every time, they've been excellent. I started with the New Jersey Tomato Soup-I've been recently ordering soups off menus. This soup was not your 'Mama's tomato soup'! The first taste had my 'eyes wide open'. It had a bright, fresh, tangy tomatoey taste! It came with a few sprigs of dill on top - I stirred it in - what an intriguing taste it gave the soup. It also had an interesting warm aftertaste-I asked my server and he said there's a touch of sriracha sauce. It was a uniquely delicious soup! Today, I was in the mood for the chicken sandwich - so I ordered it with French Fries. The Buttermilk Chicken Sandwich is one of the best in the city. It's perfectly fried - the coating is so delicious and crispy. But once you bite into that juicy breast you're transported to 'chicken heaven'. I didn't ask, but the chicken must be in a brine overnight to be that juicy! It usually comes with spicy buffalo sauce, but I can't eat spice so I opted out. The thin layer of pickled relish with ranch dressing was the perfect sauce - it was an amazing sandwich! I would have not have added to the order as it was a lot of food - but I saw Charleston Shrimp and Grits on the menu, and I have a weakness for shrimp and grits, and had to try it. My first bite into a shrimp with a nice scoop of grits was 'mouth numbing'- I couldn't believe how tender and succulent the shrimp was! ....and the creamy, tomatoey grits were 'ridiculous' - yes, they were that good! I was surprised how large the shrimp were, yet had retained a tender, juicy taste. I may have had better Shrimp and Grits, but I can't remember when. I do want to point out, I asked my server (Conrad) who went out of his way to accommodate my request, to hold the chili and paprika spices. He said he would, but the chef came out and said he'd have to 'create' a new dish without the spice but it would still have the same creamy tomato base. I was impressed, and it was a very memorable dish. Of course, I took home half my sandwich and some of the Shrimp and Grits, as it was a lot! I can't express how grateful we are to have such a great family restaurant that continues to reach a level of excellence year after year. I will look forward, as always, to my next visit!

Second, everyone knows about Roxanne's insanely delicious and creative prix fix menus, but did you know they now have a la carte lunch (and dinner) menus? I recently scored a lunch reservation and ordered a classic combo of burger and fries, with strawberry shortcake for dessert. Roxanne can make the tasty inventive dishes, but can they make hometown faves like this? Yes. Yes they can. The juicy well-seasoned burger, pillow soft homemade sesame bun, secret sauce, and onion would have been enough, but the unmelted, room temp red rock cheese gave the burger a kick in the pants that make this a contender for best burger in Philly. The curly fries would put Arby's to shame. They are thicker, crispier, longer, and softer inside. Lastly, it may seem odd to order dessert after lunch. But, if you are at Roxanne, you could be charged with a crime if you leave without it. I went with the American classic of strawberry shortcake since it's practically a requirement on 4th of July and this is our 250th birthday as well! I think the photo explains itself. Obscenely delicious and, yes, I ate it all. Slowly. So, put Roxanne on the top of your list for a Philly lunch stop, and order the dessert too! You won't regret it.

The calamari was perfectly crisp and came with the unexpected bonus of onion rings, which were ever-so-lightly battered and perfectly crunchy. And once again, the sauces were superb. The boys shared a cheese pizza, half pepperoni, and really enjoyed it. My husband ordered the burger, and yes, I stole a bite--and yes, to no one's surprise, it was amazing. We also ordered the charred broccoli after seeing everyone rave about it online. They were NOT wrong. Creamy, smoky, charred perfection. And finally... drumroll please... the 10 oz. smoked Duroc pork chop! OH. EM. GEEE.
