I haven't been the happiest with my experience from Longhorn when it comes to steak. I ordered a ribeye the last three times. For the two pickup orders, I ordered medium rare and got a very rare steak. I was able to throw it in a pan to get it to the right temperature but I didn't want to cook both days, so it was a bit inconvenient. The third time was ordered in the restaurant. I ordered medium hoping it would come out a little closer to medium rare and I got a well done Ribeye. I ended up going to the butchers shop the next day and cooking my own cuz I just wanted to eat a good steak. Not sure what's going on. read more

I recently had lunch at this location after not dining at LongHorns since before the pandemic. This restaurant was selected by a family member to celebrate a birthday. There were 9 of us in the party so we had to wait for everyone to arrive to be seated. We arrived after 1pm and well before the "rush" (the place was filled by the time we left). We had no issues with ordering or waiting for food. Our server was nice and patient. I ordered the spicy popcorn shrimp (this is not the official name) but they were small fried shrimp with peppers and a ranch dipping sauce. Yum I ordered the lamb chops with mashed potatoes and spinach with some rice. The spinach was a very small portion size but I mixed it in with the mashed potatoes. There were two of us that placed an order for a cocktail when we placed our entree orders but the drinks too long to arrive. We had finished our starters and were eating our meal by the time our drinks came to the table. I then placed a To Go order. This is where they lost an entire star. I should have checked the order before leaving but I didn't so I take some blame but I paid for a 22oz steak, loaded potato, and cripsy brussel sprouts. I ordered salmon with a sweet potato and broccoli. When the salmon came out to me, it looked chopped up. So basically, the presentation wasn't good although it tasted okay but actually could have been better tasting. I have never seen salmon come out of the kitchen looking like that from Longhorns before. Also, I asked for the manager twice and the gentlemen at the front responded by telling me she was busy in the kitchen. After I demanded to speak to her, she finally came out. I was debating between giving two or three stars for this review, but just can't give it three because I feel that means I could possibly go back - and I have no plans on doing that with this location. The experience was very disappointing for us. We usually go to the one in Bala but were closer to this one, so thought why not check it out - we won't do that again. The service was slower which felt odd since it was Monday and not many people in there, but seemed like our waiter was the one serving everyone so it made sense it took him a while sometimes. The Wild West Shrimp was still decent, but our entrees didn't taste as good or the same quality that we've had at the other location. The presentation of the food also left a lot to be desired. On top of that, when my boyfriend went to pick up his silverware, I saw a piece of hair on the napkin - and it was a long curly piece/strand, hard to miss. Of course we asked for another one and when they brought him another one out, he saw another one on the new set so had to ask for another one (showed them where it was). It was clear the staff was overwhelmed; with only three servers managing both waiting and bussing duties, service was understandably slow. This is my fiance and mines favorite restaurant. We go at least twice a month. I can't understand the bad reviews. We both get the same meals every time we go and our bill is less than $60. We usually sit in Gina's section but if she's off, every server we've had has been great. I get the renegade steak and shrimp combo meal and he gets the steak and Parmesan crusted chicken meal. There have been a couple times our steaks weren't well done but they were so prompt on fixing them and the food was always delicious, so why complain about it?! People are always so dam negative and quick to write bad reviews over such petty shit! The food is bangin and hella cheap and the servers are awesome. The color looks great on the inside but the texture was eh. The LH burger was quite good with lots of condiments with it. Very flavorful and juicy. The rack of ribs were on the skinner side and the parm crusted chicken was a little on the salty side for me. My favorite side was the Brussels sprouts! Not burnt but have the crisp. It seemed a little disorganized but nothing crazy. Our server was the BEST! He welcomed us right away and was on top of everything. He was refilling our drinks and checking in with us before we ever noticed that we needed anything. The food was really good. This was my first time tasting the Texas Tonion and it was really good. I asked for paper napkins never received them everyone food order was messed up. to the point some didn't want it or just box it to go. Covid makes dining out difficult. I stopped by to pick up dinner but it didn't feel the same as dining there under normal circumstances given the food presentation. I ordered the 8 oz sirloin which was tender but overcooked and loaded bake potato and rice. Comes with free generous portion of baked bread with butter. It was a great dinner for the price $18 including tip. TIP: you need to order and pay online in advance. When you arrive, you call their phone number so someone can come outside to give you your order. I made the mistake of walking inside to pick up my order and got reprimanded by the waitress. Oops TIP: they tend to overcook your steak by at least 1 level so that keep that in mind when you order how you want your steak done. read more

This is 3.5 stars to me but my kids really like Longhorn. This was our first time at this location. We waited about 5 minutes to be seated. Our waitress was Brandy(I?) who was very nice and attentive. We asked for a few extra things and she made sure she got all of them. Start with the dislike- the lemonade is diabetes sweet, so the second time we had her just bring a half of cup to mix with water, much better. My husband and I both got salmon platters, whichever is the larger one. He got Brussels and a sweet potato. He killed the sweet potato in like a minute flat he loved it. His Brussels I tried and they were so good but I think their in butter so not healthy Brussels. I wished the salmon had a little bit more sauce or something on it but Brandi of course brought us some, sauce was very salty which isn't bad to me but would be to most people. My younger son had the small filet- he doesn't like any fat or chewy pieces and this was perfect, he almost ate the whole thing. My older son got I think the porterhouse,we felt it was a little undercooked for his liking but was still delicious. He ordered medium, seemed close to rare in the center. There were 3 of us who went to Longhorn for a meal. My mother-in-law and I ordered parmesan chicken and baked potatoes. My husband orderd a steak and baked potato. We waited and waited for our meals. Finally a manager came over and said another table ordered the same meals and our meals went to them by mistake. When our meals finally came out all of our baked potatoes were not even luke warm.
