The Bar Fogo experience was awesome! The food and drinks were good and prices were even better. I ordered from the $6 bites spicy legs and empanadas. I also ordered spinach dip for $10 and the braised beef rib sliders for $14.50( my least favorite , found them to be dry, and could use some sauce). I ordered two different $10 CAIPIRINHA cocktails. Oh! And the Bar Fogo experience occurs everyday at the bar area.

My office brought us here for lunch for administrative day. We had a private room. It was so nice. The food and drinks were wonderful!

I gotta say this might be the best Brazilian steakhouse there is in Philly. We came here to celebrate an early Valentine's Day for dinner, made reservations and were seated immediately. They offer valet but there's a parking lot that we parked at downstairs of Macy's which is literally right next door. Fogo is so nicely decorated and pretty fancy. We did the regular steak dinner option and it was about $65 per person which is not bad at all and totally worth it. They offer a whole salad bar option in the middle of the restaurant where you go up and pick whatever you like. Servers walk around with meats and cut it for you and put it on your plate. My favorite was definitely the lamb and the garlic sirloin. Love this spot and I highly recommend coming here if you haven't!

Wow wow wow ! This weekend was my first time at FOGO / Brazilian steak house and it was a memorable experience. I'm surprised as a foodie it took me this long to jump on the bandwagon. I treated my friend for her birthday and she suggested FOGO. We were already going to be in Philly and luckily this place was close to where we already had made plans. It was not too busy or packed on a Saturday night which made the service ( offerings of the meats ) very quick. We actually had to turn our card over often because of how fast the servers were coming. After the first 2 rounds I found my favorite items and was able to pass on the ones I didn't enjoy. I recommend trying everything and expanding your palate. My favorite item of the night was probably the friend cheese. I'm not a cheese person but it was delicious ! Our drinks were delicious and strong- we both ordered different flavor Caipirinhas. The birth girl received a complimentary dessert and she chose the creme brulee. It was good. We left stuffed !!! All in all I can't wait to try different branch locations.

Lmao I told you. We treat this like vacation.

It's ridiculous how much we love this place. It's your birthday? Let's go to Fogo. Got a promotion? Gotta go to Fogo. Your mom died? My condolences. She'd want you to go to Fogo. It's a random Tuesday and I'm breathing - Fogo! Get the most out of your experience: -parking will be the toughest thing. I can usually find street parking. If not, there's a garage under one of the buildings around the corner. Of course then you're gonna pay like $100 between food and parking so again, street parking is your friend. -sign up for the Gaucho club. You get bday coupons, miss you coupons, we love you coupons. -go for brunch. No really Go. For. Brunch. Waffles. French toast. Beef rib. A combo made in heaven. -Skip the shrimp that comes around. It's extra and more importantly, We got shrimp at home! -Request the beef rib as soon as you sit down. My bestie be pulling them to the side at the hostess table to ask for it before we even sit down smh. So greedy lmao. -I do love their cocktails. Alcohol good, cheese rolls bad. Those are a distraction. They fill you up on mid. -I start and end with a salad. Mind ya business. -the candied bacon is an appetizer, a palate cleanser, and dessert and I eat it as such.

Great phone voice, by the way. We walked to the restaurant during the purported "heat dome" weekend. Fortunately, the air conditioning is pristine. We sat at the oyster bar and recommend you do so too. Our waiter was great. We should have caught his name but didn't. Either way, he was a real one. P spotted some absolute babe across the bar and asked our waiter what she was drinking. Important side note: attractive people dine here, but not in an intimidating way if you're a normie. Turns out it was a mocktail from the Zero Proof menu. We don't judge. Our waiter then turned us on to an OG move: order a mocktail and add booze. P got the Pink Drink and added vodka. J ordered a Bee's Knees and a Firing Squad. All above average. Anyway, we created an oyster flight and got two of each, working our way across the Eastern Seaboard. The house sauce was fantastic and incorporated some sort of onion and horseradish combination. We don't pretend to understand what that sorcery was, but keep doing it. Create your own GD oyster flight. You won't regret it. We also ordered some shrimp cocktail and shared the lobster roll sandwich. We forgot to take pics, but the generic photo attached is actually how it looks. Not a bad bite. This was the perfect amount of food for two hungover people who took IR Adderall before the walk. We lingered for a while and they don't push you out. Ended up ordering a couple IPAs. They started shucking oysters to prepare for the dinner crowd, which is neat to watch when you're on the spectrum like us. Also, the walls are covered in different oyster plates. We spent about 20 minutes discussing which one was our favorite. We landed on a green one. It's a real vibe lifter of a joint. Brought us back to life. 10/10.

Both were good, but the aiolis were a little overpowering when having them together. I'd probably choose one appetizer or the other next time rather than getting both--it gives your palate a little more of a chance to enjoy each flavor. For our entrée, we had the roasted oysters. They had a great mixture of flavors and were cooked perfectly. We finished with the key lime pie, which had a subtle, refreshing flavor, and I loved the coconut flakes on top. Our waiter was efficient and attentive, and the atmosphere made you feel like you could be sitting somewhere right beside the beach. I especially loved all the oyster plates covering the walls--such a fun touch that added to the coastal feel.

We celebrated my birthday there and I was a bit shocked when they didn't offer to comp a dessert, since most steakhouses usually do, but I didn't mind as it's not expected. Our second visit didn't live up to our first time experience. The steak we ordered was so raw that it was inedible. Luckily, we got 2 big entrees so we were able to enjoy one and take the steak to go and cook it a bit more to enjoy for dinner the day after. This third visit REALLY threw us off. First, we waited over 30 minutes to be seated. When we were finally seated, we were seated in what is likely the most uncomfortable seat in the restaurant. You would think if you just made someone wait 30 minutes past their reservation, you'd maybe give them the bigger table that's available to get them back in your good graces. I will say most of the food was very good. We ordered the crab and artichoke appetizer which was good but not great, and for dinner we ordered the duck which was cooked perfectly and the ribeye which was also cooked well. I had mentioned it was my birthday at the beginning of the meal. Since I didn't receive anything with my last birthday experience, I had no expectations of a comped dessert. That was until the young lady at the table next to us received a comped baked Alaska for her birthday. When it was my turn for the waiter to offer a dessert we were asked if we wanted to order anything. We said no and asked for the check. When they brought us the check, they finally remembered we had been delayed half an hour and that's when they offered a comped dessert. Why is it that someone else got a free dessert for their birthday and not me? If you're going to offer that to one you should offer to all. Other than that, the service overall was very lacking. We were checked in on 3 times during the night whereas the table next to us received constant check ins. Not sure what that was about since we had the same waiter. We were also seated and ordered before the table next to us and they received everything before us. Appetizer, dinner, dessert and check. Not sure why this happened but after tonight's disappointing experience and overall food inconsistency I have decided not to dine here anymore. More for tonight's service than anything else. Disappointing and overhyped.

The table was dressed with the regular things, but the hummus was in two tiny dishes that had obviously been sitting there for a while and were crusted on top and bread that was cold, no pita nothing cooked. That was one of our table dishes that we ordered as well as taramosalata, calamari and spanakopita. The taramosalata we had ordered as an additional item on a $65 per person set menu with options for your entrée. Unfortunately, it was very bland not the way it used to be when it came. It also did not come with pita which we had to ask for and both the hummus and taramosalata came in teeny tiny dishes, almost the size is what you'd put your soy sauce in at a sushi restaurant. There were four of those tiny dishes (2 of each item) for a table of 10. The next to come was the calamari and the spanakopita. Honestly, I've had better versions of this frozen from Costco than we were served last night. The calamari was not fresh and not homemade, there were no tentacles nothing but rings. It was also cold by the time we got it and par baked. The spanakopita were teeny, tiny triangles, smaller than what you'd even get at Costco and folded so many times in the dough that they were not flaky and honestly horrible. Nobody ate them. Next to come were the salads. That was probably the best course of the night. The take on a Caesar salad with dill was very good so was the tomato traditional Greek salad with feta. It would be nice though if they broke up the feta as there was only three large pieces of feta in there, and if anyone took one, then when you passed things down, the other people did not get any. Seeing as this was all served family style you would think they might have thought of that. Next was the main courses the options were a chicken dish, a fish dish, a lamb dish and a pasta dish. Honestly, the fish dish looked the best of all the dishes, but by the time the food got to us, everything was no longer hot. Five people ordered lamb dishe which was almost inedible. It was shredded meat from a lamb shank that was served in a tiny circular way like it had been molded into a dish and then turned over with some sort of strange sauce underneath it that supposedly was pasta. It was so small it might as well have been something that you would've gotten as an appetizer. Ironically, it was so bad that you didn't want to eat it and everyone left it on their plate. Personally, mine had shards of bone in it, which made my first bite extremely unpleasant and sadly my second bite did too, so I just pushed the it aside and did not continue eating. There was no option for dessert. They just brought down some sort of honey cake that unfortunately they didn't ask if anyone had allergies or anything which a lot of of us do so only a few could eat it, one person ended up taking the majority of the cake home with them. All of this went unnoticed by our server who was rude to the majority of our party. As mentioned before we normally love this restaurant but last night was not a good experience at all. It was extremely disappointing to be treated so cavalierly and as if our party was a downstairs was an afterthought.

The xtra dirty martini with Calabrian blue cheese stuffed olives - was prob the best dirty martini I've ever had. The food unfortunately sucked. Definitely not worth the price we paid. And it's a pricey place, but we don't mind paying for quality food and service. It was our 30th anniversary. Waiter was really nice to take off our unfinished sides, truffle fries and miso tossed broccoli. Broccoli was sweet. Fries were soggy and I couldn't taste the truffle. Steak was overcooked. Sauce au poivre was oddly sweet. Scallops were also in a sweet sauce and they potato puree for a lot of dishes, it got really boring to keep eating. Lobster bisque was meh. Chilean sea bass also meh. Tuna app was decent as was the crème brûlée. Would come here for drinks/happy hour if there is one. But not for a full meal.
