I started my lunch off with the White Cheddar Stuffed Mushrooms which was very good and the cheese perfectly fitted into the mushroom perfectly no spillage or anything. For my main course I went with the flo fillet with the optional parmesan cheese crust. It was very good I had it cooked medium well and it was exactly as it should have been cooked. The loaded bake potato was my favorite out of the dish because the flavor was perfect. Well I have not been to a longhorn in over a year. Last time tge experience was fine but the steak was bland and a tad dry. But at this location I ordered the same steak and it was cooked to perfection. Everything that was ordered came out on a timely fashion and was hot. If you have seen my post with steaks I usually get a sweet potato which you cant mess that up but this time I tried there fire grilled corn on the cob. It was absolutely amazing. For the appetizer we tried the wild west shrimp. Oh my it could be a meal on its own. They should have that as an option for a side with a steak. They complement each other very well. I went with my family for lunch. The food was good, service was nice but a bit robotic. The MAIN issue is why in the world when the entire place was empty, was I seated in the back. It would not have been an issue if the entire STAFF was having a loud meeting about numbers, expressing staff complaints, and figuring out how to get more people through the door! It was very annoying and to be honest will never return! Please tell management have your meetings in private with respect to your paying customers that keep your doors open! I'm not about to insult your intelligence by proclaiming Longhorn to be the best steakhouse that I've ever been to but it's definitely not a stretch to say that this Darden chainer is extremely consistent and reliable. While I'm not crazy about the honky tonk atmospherics, the vibe is low-key and the service is attentive. My Caesar was terrific along with an expertly done porterhouse -- all at a price that wouldn't get you a glass of ice water at Peter Lugers (not that there's any comparison.) I came here for a bite to eat before heading out with a few friends. Once seated at the bar I was not greeted by the two men standing behind the bar, it wasn't until after 7 minutes that someone acknowledged me. The dragon fruit drink was very sweet did not taste any alcohol. The steak was cooked medium rare when I asked for medium well. There were nets flying around and when I looked up there were plenty more on the barrel that is hung up on the wall behind the bar. I am not sure if I will visit this location again. read more

Yesterday was a long winded day and this super tender and deliciously flavored steak truly hit the spot. Traffic was insane during the evening rush hour but Longhorn Steakhouse definitely saved the day. Fried pickles: This was a bit salty and was not really to my liking. Cowboy Queso Dip: This was very delicious and I loved this. I hope they keep this appetizer forever! Longhorn Steak 22oz: My brother loved this steak so much that he inhaled it all in a matter of minutes. Outlaw Ribeye 18 oz: This had a lot of oil on top of the steak and it lacks a bit of taste. I had to use ketchup to give it some taste since I do not like steak sauce at all. The French fries were a bit overcooked but tasted OK with the ketchup. The baked potato was fantastic and had just the right amount of ingredients and taste. Overall: This is my favorite steak place so far in the Central Jersey area. We enjoyed our recent trip here last week! We were seated quickly and our server was attentive, funny, and polite. It was a busy night but we appreciated the attentiveness that we received. To start, we ordered the Texas Tonion as an appetizer. Tasted good but was on the salty side. After eating some, I decided to take off some of the batter because of the salt. Dipping sauce that it comes with is good. We also got some bread that was freshly made! For our entrees, we ordered the Longhorn Porterhouse with fries and the Renegade Sirloin with a baked potato. Each entree comes with a salad (but you can replace it with another side if you'd like). Salad was very good. Both steaks were cooked how we asked for it to be cooked and seasoned well. Fries and baked potato were pretty standard. We also ordered a Jack and Coke from the bar (they have $4.99 Jack and Cokes all the time which is a good deal!) and the bar was not stingy on the alcohol! It's a chain steakhouse so it's not very "unique" but the food was good and the service was phenomenal. read more

This is an odd one for me. I live on the road for work so I typically stick to what is "known" for me. Longhorn is always a safe bet except for this time. It is a standard location in terms of menu and layout but it was the little things that made me uncomfortable and not hungry. I will start by saying that I arrived around 5pm and sat at the bar. What I find odd is that they have employees waiting in the bar area for whatever reason acting inappropriately. Using language and behaving in a non-polite way. Made me very uncomfortable. Next the food was absolutely awful. Aside from the bread and broccoli; the steak and potatoes was just plain gross. The bake potato tasted like it was deep frozen for a year. It was dry and flavorless. It just basically crumbled like stale bread on my plate. The filet also had the flavor of being freezer burnt which is odd because I though Longhorn sources fresh?? Stopped in for dinner Friday night since we were shopping in the area. I haven't been here in a few years and the food just was not as good as I remembered it. We started with one of their new appetizers the brisket nachos- when they arrived I commented how they definitely didn't look half as appetizing as the picture. They were just ok the queso sauce was the best part, the brisket not so much. Then we received some fresh bread and salads. The bread was great. I had a Caesar salad which I didn't care for. It didn't taste fresh and I wasn't a fan of the dressing. For the main course I went with one of their specials the crab cake filet. It was a nice 6oz filet topped with a jumbo lump crab cake topped with a lemon garlic cream sauce with a side of mashed potatoes. I enjoyed the filet it was very tender and the crab cake was full of large chunks of crab. I was happy with my selection. It was just an ok dinner, however our server was excellent very friendly and personable. I just won't be rushing back for the food anytime soon. read more

Only thing it was missing was mayo. The kettle chips that come with bacon and cheese were super good. That four cheese blend sauce is amazing. Now the best thing is the shrimp and lobster chowder. It had so much flavor in it!! One bite you get the sweet corn with the soft potatoes then the next bite you get a hint of spice with the yummy lobster. Oh man that soup was goood.
