wow what a horrible experience in an almost empty longhorn! got there and waited 15 min for a host to come greet us... we asked the bartender if we could sit at the bar since they had the Host cleaning all the dishes and wiping down all the tables and she said no! bartender told us we would have to wait for the host and that they are busy cleaning... Now! if we had gone at a busy time ok... but there was about 6 tables of people total. i asked my husband what was near here while waiting and the bartender said in the sassiest tone "the road house" bartender obviously didn't want to be at work and took it out on us! I've work in the restaurant industry and we go out to eat almost every night! never have we ever been treated with such disrespect at a restaurant usually we would just leave but I was really wanting the chicken bites and they where decent! over all very disappointed we live in cumming and I won't be ever coming back to Roswell for longhorn again! Need me manager! I have been a very regular and loyal customer of this location for decades. As the result of an incident last weekend, I will never return to this location under any circumstances. We arrived around 9:00 on Saturday night. The host immediately informed me that he had a table ready for us and was just waiting for our to be cleaned. Our favorite, awesome server, Suzanne, greeted us and stated that our table was almost ready. At that time, the manager came up and loudly told Suzanne and the host that we were NOT to be seated, that we would have to wait until everyone in the restaurant was taken care of. This was so embarrassing and we were shocked and appalled at the manager's behavior so we simply left. We took our friends to another Longhorn where we enjoyed a wonderful experience. Management staff at this location stated that the manager at the Mansell Road location was known to be a horrible manager and that many of his employees have left due to his abuse. I have eaten all of my meals outside of the home for over thirty years so I felt that I had seen it all but I had never seen a manager behave so badly and for absolutely no reason. I have noticed that, since this manager, an older Hispanic man, has been on the floor, the morale among all employees has plummeted and the overall atmosphere seems very tense. It is simply no longer a place to go for an enjoyable dining experience. With incredibly shocking behavior in front of a very busy restaurant, I feel certain that this manager's actions will come to light and he will hopefully be replaced before he runs off all of their customers and staff. read more

The staff here is friendly, the ambiance was casual and the food was delicious! My wife and I got the Flo's Filet with a loaded baked potato. My sons all got different items including lobster tails, chopped steak, and chicken tenders covered in buffalo sauce. Everyone was happy with their food selections and left full. read more

I usually order the ribeye. It comes with a loaded baked potato and a large side that is really fresh. For $27 you can't beat it. Steak is well seasoned and cooked to order every time. I am a fan of Longhorn, this location is chill and quiet and I want to say it was pretty empty. Me and my mother sat at the bar for a late dinner and had a drink and ordered our usuals. Everything tasted great and came out wrong on the first round. But the bartender was so nice and so was the manager. My order is the Ribeye, medium, blackened with parm crusted loaded mashed potatoes... We listen and WE DON'T JUDGE"! #Backtivities lol. My mother orders the cubed steak with a baked potato. She didn't realize hers automatically came with gravy (EVEN though she orders the same thing every other timeeee)... And the kitchen forgot my parm crust. The restaurant was busy as most Longhorns are, especially dinner time on Sunday. We were seated immediately which was a surprise since we had to park in the shopping center next to the full restaurant's parking lot. Our waitress was pleasant. Our food however was served BARELY lukewarm. No exaggeration, the blood from my steak was coagulating. I don't think I have EVER experienced being served an almost ice cold baked potato. How does that even happen. And all after I was just telling my dinner guest, I have NEVER had a bad meal at Longhorn. Welp. So much for that record. We were offered do overs, and free dessert or half off our steaks. I don't eat send backs so I took the half off. My guest wanted a do over. She wasn't offered dessert and her cheaper steak is what was discounted as opposed to my tbone. It was a weird night. Also she preferred a plain potato initially and was bought a loaded one when the her hot meal came back out. The restaurant had a lot of big seatings happening. Maybe that's why our food sat somewhere until it was dang near brick cold and why it was a tad hard to get the attention of our server. Welp, so much for never having a bad meal at this Steakhouse I have been loving a LONG time. Praying it was a fluke. I will say, I typically eat at another location. My wife and I stopped in for lunch today after the original restaurant we wanted was closed on Mondays. Longhorn was very close by and we had been to other locations. Sadly, we were very disappointed at the start. The hostess was not at all welcoming, no greeting, just stood there with her arms folded across her chest. First impressions make a difference! My wife got a cheeseburger platter with a baked sweet potato. She asked for hot water with lemon but was given ice water, and told they were out of cut lemons. My wife asked for hot water 2 more times before she finally got some, but no refills were offered. I ordered the crispy chicken sandwich with loaded bakes potato. The chicken was indeed crispy as well as juicy and tender, but it was quite salty. I only ate 1/4th of my sandwich due to how salty it was. My Loaded baked potato was good. As for atmosphere, the dining room was nice, comfortable, and reasonably quiet despite the large lunch groups. It had an upscale casual feel to it. Service was just okay as our waiter seemed a but stressed and overwhelmed though he tried hard. Overall, we've had better experiences at other locations so doubt we'll be back to Longhorn Steakhouse's Roswell location. We'll go where we feel your business is appreciated. read more

Arrived around 8:45p, manager was at the hostess stand...Did not greet me as I walked in, I finally caught his attention and requested a table for two. Twice he left the stand to do inventory of the dirty tables, updating his chart every time; instead of focusing on the clean tables, sitting us and then updating his chart. The antlers chandelier has lint, hanging off. All the chairs, with the exception of the actual sitting area VERY dusty. It seems the restaurant has not been inspected for cleanliness recently.... ordered a onion soup, which had melted cheese on top but it was lukewarm, I did not finished it. Dinner before Rehearsal Dinner on Friday and Wedding on Saturday. Flew down for the festivities. Excellent dinner with extremely good service. Our waitperson, Lisa, was the best. Started with a White Sangria about the size of a birdbath. Good bread and the best huge wings for an appetizer. My ribeye steak with 'cowboy' rub was grilled perfectly rare. For such a large room it was quiet enough to hold a conversation probably because everyone was busy eating! Our waiter was courteous and attentive. We placed our order right away - no need for a menu ent now we know it almost by heart. We always enjoy the warm bread and butter prior to our meal - not this time! It must have been left over from lunch! It was cold and hard to cut. We didn't eat it. My friend ordered the New York Strip with house salad and baked sweet potato. I ordered chicken tenders (small size) house salad with blue cheese dressing and the loaded baked potato. Our complaints are listed below: 1. Bread was a disaster 2. My salad was not fresh- lettuce was limp - must have been sitting awhile. 3. The chicken tenders were cremated - way overcooked. I usually praise the chicken tenders. 4. My baked potatoe was half done- 5. My friend's steak was not good. I hate to complain but this was the worst - it was my. Secondly our waitress was very inattentive to our table. Took 10 minutes just to get ketchup. Had to flag her down to ask for refills because she would not stop at our table to see how we were doing. We were celebrating our anniversary when we decided to come here. Nice, dimly lit ambiance. Our server was a older white gentleman, between the ages of 45-60. Super nice and attentive. Our appetizer was the Tonion, a better version of Outback's Blooming Onion. My entree was the 12ct shrimp over rice with a Caesar salad and a loaded baked potato. My bf got the chicken parmesean. The food was great. I got the 12 oz Ribeye medium-rare. The reason why I am giving this place a 4/5 stars was because our server wasn't checking on us. I came with my parents and a family friend. Toward the end, he never stopped by and asked if we needed our food to be packed. So my family friend went inside the kitchen and asked for more bags for our takeout. I thought it was funny.. even though the situation wasn't funny. Not much to say. The chicken wrap was pretty good. The Brussels sprouts were delicious but the mac-n-cheese and bacon was a bit too salty and greasy for my taste. Everything was good but the service wasn't on point. Went for lunch . we ordered a 12 oz and a 20 ounce ribeye.the 20 ounce looked and tasted ok but the 12 oz was probably the worst stake i ever ate at this type of restaurant. as i ate it i hoped that when i got thru the outer fat the meat would taste better but it was the same from outside to inside.also i ordered a draft beer and it took over 14 minutes to arrive at the table. This was about 11:30 am with only 2 other tables being used so there should be no excuse for the delay for the beer to arrive. read more

We have been to this location many times. This time, as we entered and were seated, there were several tables not cleared, the floor was messy. It was not busy as it was 3 in the afternoon on a Saturday. We were seated promptly but it took 10 minutes for the server to come to our table. She was pleasant but not overly friendly. We ordered cheese fries with the ranch dressing on the side as we have had it many times there before. We received a plate of fries with a little amount of melted white cheese. We told them that is not what we usually get for cheese fries-where is the bacon and it's usually cheddar cheese. Plus no ranch on the side. They apologized and said they had someone new preparing in the kitchen. The server apologized and took it off our bill but insisted on making the cheese fries again. The second time they came out the same way but the fries were cooked more and had a little cheddar cheese melted on it. Not at all what we were used to getting as it just looked like a plate of fries. Still no bacon and no ranch on the side. On the positive side, the salads were fresh, crispy and cold. The steaks were hot and cooked to order. The sweet potato and mashed potatoes were had as sides were good too. The cheese fries and the messiness of the restaurant left a poor impression. I went to Longhorn today for a late birthday lunch. I ordered my usual Flo's filet but was very disappointed. I think they substituted a lessor cut of meat because the steak I was served was half as thick, wider diameter wise, and did not "melt" in my mouth as previous Flo's filets had. I had eaten most of it before asking the waitress if she had served me the wrong steak. She asked me if I thought the steak looked a little flat to me and I said yes. Looking flat was a good description. She then said that lately she has been given flat filets. She offered to get me another steak but I declined the offer. She offered nothing more. I went the other day and it was going good, i hadn't been to longhorn in a long time so i was excited to get what i always do (the strawberry pecan salad). this time i was with friends i wanted to try something different i got the potato soup and garlic parm crusted fries asked for both with no bacon. i got my food and i took a bite of the soup and realized there indeed was bacon in the soup. i did not know there was bacon in the soup i always thought it was just on top like i saw it online. Also in the menu it doesn't say that bacon is inside the soup. the waiter came back i expressed how i didn't know there was bacon in the soup and she gave me a sigh and said well it does say loaded potato soup with bacon cheese and bacon and it does say that it's in the soup. we didn't have anymore menu's so i looked it up and it said "topped with bacon cheese and green onion" nothing about it being inside the soup. i brought it to her attention and she got the updated menu. i agreed yes it did change to "loaded" and i told her well idk the menu that well and english mah not be mt first language but "loaded" to me means something is going ontop of something.. and also it still didn't say it was in the soup like she said it did and i get she didn't know i don't eat pork because of my religion but she was just arguing with me the entire time. i ended up starting to just cry cause in a way it made me feel stupid and i had just ate pork without knowing. it's not her responsibility to know i don't eat pork but i am a server too and if someone doesn't want onions in their quesadilla but i know there is onions in the pico that comes with the quesadilla i would ask if the onions in the pico is okay since i know others dont know the menu like i do. I am very pleased with my experience at LongHorn Steakhouse. We came in on a very busy Saturday night, but this did not affect the wonderful service. Our server, Tae, was so kind and attentive. Despite the restaurant being packed, the service was prompt and food came out quickly. Their bread is great and we had the "Texas Tunion" fried onion petals as an appetizer. It was great and the sauce that came with it was wonderful. For my meal, I had the Flo's Filet which was so tasty. It was cooked very well and sautéed well. I was surprised at the quality of this steak. It also came with a side of asparagus and a caesar salad. The caesar salad could've used more dressing but it was so good. Overall, I was surprised at how wonderful my meal was and highly recommend this location. The overall quality is so surprising for a restaurant chain. I look forward to returning soon! read more

Longhorn is one of my long term favorites to calm down some occasional cavemen instincts for survival in a form of protein in its most authentic form. The decor is of texan-style and it, combined with constant stream of background country music, remind me of my time back in Austin. Not the fanciest type of chain steakhouse, even less so compared to typical high-end ones, but it works alright to enjoy wood-grilled flavors with affordable prices. In the Roswell venue, the Outlaw ribeye was juicy, tender, and delicious, served as requested to medium. It only required a shy twist of black pepper. It was just about as good as it can get in the hands of knowledgeable chef fire-grilling it, taken that we are not talking about much pricier 20+ days dry aged prime cuts here. There is some basic sides to choose from, such as oven baked potato, steamed broccoli, or french fries, but I do not really crave fancier selection as long as the main thing, the meat, is ok and goes to its economic price point. This steak complied with my expectations - reckoning though that the higher category would still bring that extra tenderness and taste, with the extra bill obviously. This one was plenty to digest so I reserved 1/3 to go in a box for extended enjoyment back home, perhaps transforming it into a ribeye taco. read more

Visited here after an unsuccessful trip to Outback nearby which had a wait of an hour+ and were seated immediately. The staff did a great job with social distancing and even tried to stand back while interacting with us and taking orders. The food was cooked incredibly with both ordered steaks perfectly medium rare. We got the 9oz Renegade Sirloin which was very tender and flavorful and at an incredibly reasonable price of under $20. What really set this visit apart for us, though, was our waitress. I would dare to say she was the best waitress I can ever remember having at any restaurant. Perfect at anticipating our needs without hovering, pleasant and engaging and just overall excellent at her job. I wish I could remember her name to give her public recognition but I unfortunately cannot. First I'd like to say our waiter Susanne was great! We had been waiting for a minute without being served and when I asked her for help she took over for us because our original waiter was over worked. Now I've been here numerous of times and the steak never disappoint. Always juice and flavorful, and I'm normally a A1 sauce person when I eat my steak but not when I come here. I also love the Wild West Shrimp. And the alcoholic drinks are always good. My one thing here, which is why I gave them 4 stars, every time I come there's a spell of dirty mop water that fills the restaurant. It's not horrible, and it passes once you sit for a while. And it may just be me because I'm sensitive to smells. But overall, I will always be back and recommend. read more
