The restaurant was busy as most Longhorns are, especially dinner time on Sunday. We were seated immediately which was a surprise since we had to park in the shopping center next to the full restaurant's parking lot. Our waitress was pleasant. Our food however was served BARELY lukewarm. No exaggeration, the blood from my steak was coagulating. I don't think I have EVER experienced being served an almost ice cold baked potato. How does that even happen. And all after I was just telling my dinner guest, I have NEVER had a bad meal at Longhorn. Welp. So much for that record. We were offered do overs, and free dessert or half off our steaks. I don't eat send backs so I took the half off. My guest wanted a do over. She wasn't offered dessert and her cheaper steak is what was discounted as opposed to my tbone. It was a weird night. Also she preferred a plain potato initially and was bought a loaded one when the her hot meal came back out. The restaurant had a lot of big seatings happening. Maybe that's why our food sat somewhere until it was dang near brick cold and why it was a tad hard to get the attention of our server. Welp, so much for never having a bad meal at this Steakhouse I have been loving a LONG time. Praying it was a fluke. I will say, I typically eat at another location. I probably won't go back to the Roswell location but definitely will go back to the one I typically eat.

    Cheeseburger with Baked Sweet Potato

My wife and I stopped in for lunch today after the original restaurant we wanted was closed on Mondays. Longhorn was very close by and we had been to other locations. Sadly, we were very disappointed at the start. The hostess was not at all welcoming, no greeting, just stood there with her arms folded across her chest. First impressions make a difference! My wife got a cheeseburger platter with a baked sweet potato. She asked for hot water with lemon but was given ice water, and told they were out of cut lemons. My wife asked for hot water 2 more times before she finally got some, but no refills were offered. I ordered the crispy chicken sandwich with loaded bakes potato. The chicken was indeed crispy as well as juicy and tender, but it was quite salty. I only ate 1/4th of my sandwich due to how salty it was. My Loaded baked potato was good. As for atmosphere, the dining room was nice, comfortable, and reasonably quiet despite the large lunch groups. It had an upscale casual feel to it. Service was just okay as our waiter seemed a but stressed and overwhelmed though he tried hard. Overall, we've had better experiences at other locations so doubt we'll be back to Longhorn Steakhouse's Roswell location. We'll go where we feel your business is appreciated.

    Outlaw Ribeye - fantastic sear

Went to eat a steak around 4pm on labor day. Probably the best sear ive gotten from a franchise :)

We were celebrating our anniversary when we decided to come here. Nice, dimly lit ambiance. Our server was a older white gentleman, between the ages of 45-60. Super nice and attentive. Our appetizer was the Tonion, a better version of Outback's Blooming Onion. My entree was the 12ct shrimp over rice with a Caesar salad and a loaded baked potato. My bf got the chicken parmesean. Listen, all of the food was well seasoned and remarkably fresh! Tbh Longhorn is a beautiful place to take someone on a first date. The prices are super reasonable. I will definitely be back! 5/5 stars

Full order Parmesan Cheese Crusted Yardbird

Tried the parm crusted yardbird for a change & it was delicious. Salad was good, and brussels were roasted just right and had the perfect amount of glaze. Bread was hard as a rock- but it was fine since I didn't want the carbs anyway. Got out of there way cheaper than I normally do with a . Service was good.

The food is pretty consistent and good. I always get the Alice springs chicken and it's one of the best.

I didn't remember being this bad. Ordered ribeye. I cut 1/3 of steak off, it was fat. Then, the rest was tough to chew.

We entered and at first I was concerned because there were only two people in the restaurant. We ordered and received our food quickly and from the first bite of brisket I was hooked!!! We had the collards, mac & cheese, baked beans and Brunswick Stew. I was not happy with the Brunswick Stew but I'm hard to please on that item. I haven't had good batch in years. The people that know how to prepare it properly don't work in restaurants. Was charged $1 for two extra slices of bread. Uhhhhh really...it's bbq! Another drawback for me was the young lady working the register was pulling at the skin on her lips and I remember thinking oh lord she has her hands on her mouth, the register, the phone and everything else. I realize some people have nervous tendencies and try not to be too obnoxious when dining out but I sure miss the days of face masks and gloves. While we ate more and more people came in and when we left there was six people dining in, multiple pick up order, so it's a steady flow of people. The condiments station was neat and tidy. The restaurant itself is decorated with cute signage and quotes which lead to a relaxing environment. I grabbed a catering menu as I was leaving because everything was so delicious I have to convince my employer to treat us to bbq this summer. You can't go wrong with the strawberry lemonade.

The food is phenomenal--everything we tried was packed with flavor--and on top of that, they often have a live band playing, which makes the whole vibe even better. One of the best things about dining here is that they never rush you out. It's the kind of place where you can easily linger, keep snacking, and enjoy a drink. A great insider tip: if they happen to not have the exact drink you're looking for behind the bar, you can easily grab one from next door. Highly recommend checking them out!

Man it turned out to be a wonderful choice. I settled on a 2 meat combo plate. I chose brisket and turkey. My 2 sides were collard greens and hash brown casserole. Lets talk about that food. The turkey was moist, not dried out. The brisket was also moist and not tried out. I could literly cut it with my fork. Them Collard greens. Let me tell you. Usually I have to add pepper sauce. However there was no need to. They had the perfect amount of spice added to them. Another bonus. There was plenty of left over pot liquor ( juice) . I drank it up. The hashbrown casserole was perfect, Nice and cheesy. But the best part. While the meal all to gather was around $35. The most important fact was, I walked away full. To me this is where BBQ restaurants fall short in my opinion. You pay alot of money and still be hungry. I will also add this. Usually im not a big fan of BBQ sauces. I feel like good BBQ should stand alone , no sauce. However one of their sauces seemed to be a vinegar based sauce, witch i tend to like. The spicy one wasn't bad either though. I recommend you give them a try.

Big Easy BBQ - Do Not Waste Your Money or Time Eating Here A…read morefew days ago, I watched a well-known BBQ show that offered a simple rule: if there's no smoke coming from a BBQ restaurant, keep driving. Today, I ignored that advice and regretted it. A friend and I decided to try Big Easy BBQ for lunch instead of visiting one of our usual favorites. After reading positive reviews, we drove more than 30 minutes to see what the hype was about. The first warning sign was the nearly empty dining room at lunchtime. The second was the complete lack of that unmistakable BBQ aroma. Despite both red flags, we stayed. My friend ordered the St. Louis ribs with sides, and I ordered the half chicken with two sides. When I noticed he had barely touched his ribs, he handed me a piece to try. The meat was tough, dry, and tasted as though it had been cooked well in advance and reheated. Unfortunately, my chicken was no better. It also seemed old and reheated rather than freshly prepared. For sides, I chose dirty rice and Cajun BBQ beans. Neither tasted particularly fresh. The dirty rice was acceptable at first but quickly lost its appeal, while the beans were merely average. Having lived in New Orleans for five years, I know what good Cajun and BBQ-inspired food should taste like. This wasn't it. The highlights of the meal were my iced tea and my friend's French fries. Service was equally disappointing. The server checked on us only in passing and showed little interest in our experience. When we requested takeout boxes for the food we barely ate, there was no inquiry about why our meals were largely untouched. We both took our leftovers home, though neither of us was enthusiastic about them. The lesson here is simple: online reviews should never outweigh what your eyes, nose, and instincts are telling you. A busy dining room, the smell of smoke, and trusted recommendations are often better indicators than a collection of glowing ratings. As a final note, my friend and I normally pay separately, but I felt responsible for suggesting this restaurant and paid for both meals. If paying for two disappointing lunches taught me anything, it's this: save your time and money, and eat somewhere else.

My wife's family is from Dallas, TX, and my brother lives in Austin. So, I am no stranger to Texas BBQ. The center of Texas BBQ is brisket, where you either go big or go home. When I got to Sean's large, shiny and modern trailer, and ordered, he asked me whether I'd like it from the flat or point. I chose the point, for its succulence. He pulled out a whole brisket, sliced it in two between the sections, and cut a thick slice out of the point side. It had a beautiful smoke ring, and was the most tender and flavorful and juicy brisket either my wife or I had ever had. The Salt Lick, near Austin, TX was previously the undisputed champion, but no longer. We also had the pastrami, which is not something you normally see offered at BBQ places, though it is a natural fit. For those who haven't had it, Pastrami is corned beef that has been peppered on the outside and then smoked. It is a flavor bomb. Again, I got a choice of the flat or point, and it was so smoky, tender and juicy that we were giggling as we ate it. Top notch. We also tried a half rack of spare ribs. These too were meaty, smoky, juicy and so tender that the bones fell from the meat, and you had to make an effort to find the cartilage because it too was as tender as the meat. These had zero sauce on them, though you could squirt some on if you wanted to; but they didn't need it at all. We also got a horseshoe-shaped link of the home-made sausage. Made with jalapeno and cheddar, it was a bit too aggressively flavored for us. Certainly not bad, but I prefer a mellower, long-smoked sausage to this. Choices I did not try this week, but looked good, included pulled pork, thick-cut pork steaks, ancho slaw, and mac & queso. You can pre-order on the web site, or get there early on Saturdays, to get the full selection. The choices change each week, though I suspect that some things are staples. Check out their Facebook page for the weekly choices. I know I'll be back.
