This is the second time I have come and celebrated my mom birthday. It was delicious wonderful and good food love the Mac and cheese and the next time I come I got to try the cheese burgers . Steaks are so good. The service was wonderful and very attentive. The place is dim normal I guess. I don't like carpets but that's my preference. The place can be lighter and bright. Do I recommend here? Yes I do.

I went to Longhorn a few days ago with a group of women friends. None of us had been to a Longhorn in quite sometime but this was a great location for all of us to meet. We had a wonderful meal. The old fashioned I ordered was great, The best part of our time there was our waitress, Kim. She did an amazing job with special requests, being attentive to our food and being so friendly and personable. I ordered the strip steak with the sweet potato on the side. The steak was cooked perfectly. I couldn't eat all of it so I took the rest home. Everyone enjoyed their meals and appreciate Kim's great service. Highly recommend!

I had an excellent experience at LongHorn Steakhouse in Schaumburg - definitely 5 stars. It was my first time back in years, the first experience wasn't that great, but things have certainly improved since then! They had a salmon and shrimp combo which was great, the salmon was so soft and tasted very fresh. We also tried the sirloin and shrimp combo which was very good too. The sirloin was cooked exactly as requested (medium rare - the only way to eat a steak!). These combos are excellent they give you so much food - the 2 proteins, rice, another side, a salad and of course a good size piece of bread with butter. Our server was very friendly and attentive, ambiance was very nice with the Texas decor and I love the dim lighting. I'd go back again, but if you go after 5 PM - you're going to wait a while for a table FYI.

Typical lettuce entertain you style restaurant. The portions are huge and really filling. Each dish can easily be shared between 2 people. Even the kids menu entrees could be split between 2 kids. Our server was top notch--super attentive and got us extra plates and forks and crayons for the kids plus extra napkins. What we got: Rack of lamb - They recommend cooked medium and it's really good, tender and juicy--not gamey at all. Whatever the sauce is is delicious and pairs really nicely with it. There's a definite grill flavor to it, which made the flavors even better. The mashed potatoes are super creamy. Something about lamb over a little bed of mashed potatoes just looks right presentation-wise, so I didn't sub the side but you can. The other side was the strawberry salad and it was nice, light and fresh! Outlaw Ribeye - It's seasoned heavily and a touch salty, but it tastes great. You can ask for it to be seasoned lightly if you prefer. Solid steak, the grilled flavor is what can't really be achieved at home on the stove. Side was a caesar salad and our kids ended up eating a lot of it. Kids mac and cheese - Our kid has a little bit bougie tastebuds, so she said this was watery and flavorless. She likes real cheese and a thick, creamy ooey-gooey sauce. Other kids might like this just fine! I'm curious if the side mac and cheese is the same as the kids or if it's more aimed for adult palates because the side mac and cheese might be a better option. All the kids meals include a milk and a side. Kids chicken tenders - Our kid wanted fried, but there's a grilled option as well. We got the side of steamed broccoli and both kids said it was soft and mushy, but I think they like it that way.

We came here on a Saturday to meet up with our family friends. Luckily, we called about 45mins ahead to put our name on the waitlist. The online waitlist only took up to 4 people. Luckily we did! There were many big parties for birthday celebration. When we arrived 15 mins before the intended time, we were told that we had to wait for another 30mins. But, the staff was efficient in clearing tables. We were seated within. 15 mins. We were too busy to catch up so I didn't take any pictures of our foods, but take my words, we were (good) surprised by the quality of foods. They have USDA Prime beef, with the masterful seasoning and grilling, the steaks were tender and tasty. The sides were also generous. Couple of us opted for the Strawberry and Pecan salad, it was almost like a size of a salad entree. Through out the meal, even though it was very busy, the staffs were still attentive. Check out Longhorn for your next dinner outing!

Ok let's start- the ambiance is definitely all-American steakhouse! But let's remember- their price-point is "affordable" steakhouse - so how does that compare? Let's start in: though the seats/tables were in pretty good shape, it's definitely time to refresh the decor (seeing a few areas of wear and dust was a a tipoff). But thankfully all furniture is maintained with no torn upholstery or "tippy" tables - very much appreciated. But wow- i will say they're popular. So I'm absolutely sure they get their profits outta the volumes of business they pump through. We were greeted perfunctorily and seated immediately - that was nice. The waiter brought the menus (which - except for prices, natch- haven't much changed. Not a bad thing). The beer selection wasn't imaginative, but a Bud Light always works - while I ordered the suds, hubby ordered a water (designated driver that he is). The beer came, the order was taken, and - well- so did a very warm loaf of whole-wheat bread (!). Always loved me a bread load in a restaurant - and it was really yummy. Gotta say it was nice. We ordered stuffed mushrooms (coated with cheese) for an app, and that was at the perfect temp. We both got a salad - while the tomatoes looked and tasted great (as did the croutons) the lettuce was more wilty than I'd have liked (some pieces were crisp- yes- but others were just sad). Still - topped with Thousand? A nice flavor profile. We both ordered the grill master combo- 6oz renegade sirloin steak + 8 ct redrock grilled shrimp. The steak and shrimp were very nicely priced- and it showed in the quality. The shrimp weren't really crisp and weren't "hot" - they were just a step above lukewarm. Disappointing, unfortunately. The flavoring was awesome, but the temp? Yikes. Ok - the steak. I know 6oz is small. And that's ok. But it was definitely not that tender (!). It was hot- perfect temp. The flavor was fine- but wow- it was not a tender piece of meat. I suppose I'll have to order Flo's Filet to get the tenderness I so dearly crave moving forward? Or have I just been spoiled by Seasons 52's steaks? Or that of Morton's (both different price points, but tenderness should know no boundaries). The sides- my sweet potato was nice for sure- hubby enjoyed his fries but by the time we made it thru the dinner? We were FULL. Ok- the taste/temp issues resulted in the demerit of a point. A plus point was the ability to pay via QR code at the table (a nice touch, as most restaurants make you wait forever for the bill). But a programming note on their invoicing software- and I'll keep repeating it - restaurant owners - if you're listening- I will gladly pay a 20% tip ON THE PRE-TAX AMT ONLY. Don't program it so I'm paying a tip on top of a tax. Man, that's just insulting to us diners.

The food isn't something to go crazy over, lunch specials are decently priced recommended on going during those hours. I had the lemon garlic chicken now that was 10/10 surprisingly, mac & cheese is tasteless. Our waiter was lovely and the service was kinda of quick! ~*HEADS UP*~ Purchase the marg long pour to save $$$ it's 2.5 margs for the price of $16.29 vs $6.49 for one small marg.

We arrived a couple minutes before our reserved time, and were promptly seated - our waitress was great- attentive, timely, and just on point. Bread came out- while not too warm (and it cooled very quickly), it hit the spot. I got a glass of cabernet sauvignon while hubby had a mocktail. Our starter was a shrimp cocktail- always hits the spot. While not "quite" as jumbo or crisp as I'd like, it was fresh and tasty. I ordered the artichoke, potato, and leek soup- loved it! Hubby ordered their signature pork chop and oh my god- that thing was huge! No joke- it was humongous! The taste was mildly reminiscent of a Honeybaked Ham, but it was OH so tender and juicy! I had a koji-aged filet mignon, cooked perfectly at a medium- and I was amazed with the flavor- absolutely spot on! I'd ordered it Oscar Style (lump crab and asparagus) but on the side. We ordered, as well, au gratin potatoes for our side. Now, frankly, I gotta tell you- my eyes are now MUCH bigger than my tummy! We ended up bringing a good portion of the dinner home as it was way too much food. BUT what a great dinner we'll have today with the leftovers, right? Would we return? In a heartbeat. But I would ask for a window table- not keen on being right next to a server station and a busy walking area.

I definitely recommend making a reservation, especially if you're planning to come for dinner. As soon as we walked in, I was struck by how beautiful the restaurant is. Since the building was once a church, they preserved the stained-glass windows and cathedral ceilings, which give the space so much character. We ended up sitting on the patio because it was a gorgeous day, but I definitely want to come back and dine inside so I can fully appreciate the interior. The patio was modern, spacious, and completely shaded, making it very comfortable. Since it's located right next to the little lake, we also enjoyed a nice breeze throughout our meal. Our waitress was friendly and attentive overall, but there was one moment that stood out. My friend's baby accidentally knocked over a full glass of iced coffee, spilling it all over my friend's lap and onto the floor. The waitress watched as my friend cleaned up the mess herself but didn't offer to help or replace the spilled drink. Aside from that, the service was good. My friends and I all ordered something different, and everyone enjoyed their meals. I had the salmon poke bowl ($19), which was fresh, flavorful, and incredibly refreshing. The ingredients tasted high quality, and all the flavors worked really well together. It was more filling than I was expecting! Price-wise, I expected the menu to be more expensive than it actually was. I'm sure dinner prices are higher, especially for steak and seafood, but the brunch menu was quite reasonable. Most breakfast and brunch dishes range from $12-$20, making it a great value for both the quality of the food and the beautiful atmosphere. Overall, we all enjoyed our experience and I'll for sure be back! I'd love to try other menu items and come for dinner, too!

It's not intrusive, but we were sat outside. I can imagine it might have been hard to carry conversation in the very full and busy dining room. We both started with a mocktail, the fly boy, which was very fresh and delicious. My husband had the 20 oz rib eye which was slightly over done, but still seasoned well. I had the bone-in pork chop with fingerling potatoes and roasted Brussels sprouts which was delightful. Dessert consisted of the banana sticky toffee pudding and the strawberry chocolate cake and a decaf cappuccino. All were awesome. Our server (Lindsey?) was l friendly and attentive, while not being overbearing. Foxtail has definitely become a favorite restaurant of ours.
