My youngest Child's Birthday Celebration and she chose Chicago Prime Steakhouse to enjoy and enjoy we did! Staff is always providing their "A Game". The ambiance is of any high end quality focused Establishment and they deliver. Hector was our Guide and was quite entertaining. Always enjoy our time at Chicago Prime Steakhouse, Chicago Prime Italian or Avante's Banquets & Convention Center. Smacznego, Mangia & Ciao! Cheers Andy John!

the owner George invited me into the restaurant for an amazing meal. I had surf and turf and shared tuna with a grilled octopus appetizer. The music was very entertaining and easy to dance to my waitress was amazing.

This was a fantastic dining experience. A friend of mine is part of their "Millionaire's Club", where they match what you put on your card. I think it starts at $50/month, which means $100/month ends up on your card. It rolls over when you don't use it, so he had about $400 on the card when the four of us went. The restaurant is beautiful and classic. They have lounge singers that come on certain nights but we didn't get a chance to see a performance when we were there. I would definitely come back to sip a cocktail in the bar area, order some appetizers, and see live music. This place has the right vibe for that. As far as food, we sampled a decent amount of the menu. We started with octopus, Blue Point raw oysters, and oysters Rockefeller. All of the appetizers were delicious, especially the grilled octopus, which had just the right amount of char and a tasty sauce. For dinner, we had prime rib, steak and cake (filet mignon w/crab cake), and a rib dinner with garlic mashed potatoes and asparagus as side items. Everything was perfectly done. The au poivre sauce I added to the filet mignon was delicious and well balanced. The crab cake was crisp on the outside and mainly crab meat rather than bread, which was impressive. The mushroom soup was full of fresh mushrooms and well executed. The garlic mashed potatoes had roasted cloves in them. I don't even like mashed potatoes, and seriously, they were good. For dessert, we had cherries jubilee, which comes on fire (brandy, is the alcohol they use, I believe). It's a fun dessert for the table. The ice cream, sauce, and cherries satisfy a sweets craving without being over the top sugary. For drinks, the table ordered beer, red wine (zinfindel), and Manhattans. Drinks were good, I really enjoyed the wine with the meal. Unfortunately, a lot of their wines are sold by the bottle, so it will limit your selection if you're the only one at the table drinking wine, like I was. Service was very attentive but never pushy, as you would expect in this kind of establishment. This is definitely a great find in the area.

Hub-hub and I were seeking a nice place for a post-Thanksgiving meal - Morton's has always been a go-to for us back in Cali, but we wanted to try something a bit more - you know- local. Chicago Prime Steakhouse is family owned and seemed a classy joint - so away we went! We made a reservation earlier in the day, and when we arrived we were instantly seated in the middle of their beautiful dining area. Service was absolutely prompt, and the ambiance was - shall we say? Sublime. We started with the Colossal Shrimp Cocktail - which was beyond words. Magnifico! Crisp. HUGE. The sauce with horseradish- perfection. I had the Steak Diane, which (as anyone who's been to the Peppermill in Reno can attest) is a hard one to match. Chicago Prime came the closest yet- 8oz/225 g of two delicious filets cooked medium well (perfection for the author). Hubby had the Filet Trio - 3 4 oz/113g filet medallions - absolutely amazing. We looked at each other and said -without a doubt- we'll be back! To top it off, the manager offered us a free drink in the bar as we were about to leave (we had to pass as we'd already had our glass of wine at dinner) - what a nice touch - to welcome us to Chicago! So cool. But I'd be remiss if I didn't mention the warm bread - the crisp salads - and the ambiance. Wow. We'll come again. If you've not been? You need to go.

One of my favorite steakhouses. Lots of halal creekstone options. I love the filet and adding different topings. The saganaki and shrimp is a good app. The service is alwags good. The lights are dim for a good ambiance.

The food is absolutely excellent! It's the most authentic Italian pizza you will have in the suburbs! The salad and pasta were very well received from all the guests! We had almost 60 people at our party. Hillary was very helpful during the whole time as well as the two bartenders that were working our party. They have a microphone and plenty of tables for your use. They even supply centerpieces for all the tables. They have a beautiful patio as well that the attendees could walk outside and relax there as well. I really enjoyed the fact that I could connect my phone wirelessly to their speaker system so I can play music during the party. They also have music of their own that they provide as well. There were so many compliments from the attendees on the ambience andthe food quality! For an appetizer, I ordered the oven roasted octopus, and I highly recommend it. The marinade really brought out the flavor of the octopus, and I was impressed by how tender it was. Octopus can easily become rubbery if not prepared properly, but the texture here was soft and perfectly cooked. For my main course, I had the lobster ravioli. While the sauce was rich, creamy, and delicious, I was a bit disappointed that there weren't any noticeable chunks of lobster in the filling. We also ordered the Schaumburg pizza. I loved that all of their pizzas are cooked in a stone oven. I'm usually not a big fan of crust, but this was an exception. The flavors were well balanced, not overly sweet from the barbecue sauce, with just the right amount of savory flavor from the bacon. Everything worked together beautifully. Overall, the entire dining experience was excellent. From the food to the atmosphere, it was a very enjoyable meal. I can't wait to come back and explore more of the menu.

I got basically a buffalo chicken and a pepperoni pizza. Now they give what seems to be authentic Italian ingredients. I ordered thru Uber. Wish I could come and sit but I work nights. So I got this to enjoy through my work day. The toppings on the pizzas were everything you would expect. Delicious. Which is why I cannot negate this down to 3 stars. I would recommend this place to everyone. The part that may be my preference or maybe I am right. The crust.... From what I expected it was supposed to be bubbly airy soft crust. Maybe a lil char on the outside. This is not what I had gotten. Now looking thru the photos here I believe I am right. My pizzas felt like a flat breadstick on the rims. And just blatantly flopped over when picking up a slice. There was 0 crisp or crunch in the outter rims. Now again I could be wrong and if this is how it is.... It still gets 4 stars. Ingredients are really good. I will be back. Tip is I would not suggest a lot of toppings as you will just make a big mess picking up a slice.. or eat it with a fork I guess.

Updating from a previous experience…read more We came to celebrate my dad's birthday with a 6:00 PM reservation on a Friday, and I am so glad we did. While my past visit may have varied, this experience was absolutely fantastic, largely thanks to our incredible server. To start the night, I ordered the Puttin' on the Spritz, which was absolutely delicious. As someone who is celiac/ gluten-free, navigating group dinners can be stressful, but our server made it seamless. We decided to dine family-style. While there weren't any regular appetizers I could have, the restaurant offers a dedicated GF menu, and our server went above and beyond to accommodate me for the rest of the meal: Salads: Family-style comes with two salads, and the server safely modified both to be gluten-free. Entrees: The family-style option includes four entrees. I ordered the Rigatoni D with GF pasta (the menu explicitly notes they can substitute GF pasta). Our server also had the medallion plate specially made gluten-free. The Delivery: When the food arrived, they brought my GF pasta out separately to avoid cross-contamination and even surprised me with my own dedicated plate of GF Chicken Francese! To top it all off, their crème brûlée is naturally gluten-free, and they brought one out just for me to enjoy for dessert. Our server was exceptionally knowledgeable about gluten allergies, and I deeply appreciated how thoroughly cared for I felt throughout the night. The food was delicious across the board. We will definitely be back!

Despite having a reservation confirmed three weeks in advance and receiving a confirmation call that same morning, our party was not seated until 4:30 PM for a 4:00 PM booking. My husband and I checked in with the host starting at 3:55 PM, only to receive vague, dismissive responses like 'we're working on it.' Worse, the host displayed an unprofessional attitude, stating 'I have already told you in a few minutes' and was seen talking to other hosts about how upset our group was. When I finally spoke with a manager, Don M., his response was unsettling. Rather than apologizing for the 30-minute delay, he simply told me 'I am not kicking you out,' which felt incredibly unprofessional and dismissive for a milestone celebration. After we were seated, Don M. never returned to check on us or acknowledge the delay. Fortunately, Assistant Manager Luis Martinez and our servers, Marco and Georgina, completely saved the day. Luis came to our table to check on us personally, and Marco and Georgina were excellent, accommodating our large group's orders perfectly. If it weren't for their professional care, I would not return to this location." I truly hope that you consider looking into this matter as I have seen and witnessed how rude and unprofessional the host was yesterday not only to our party but to other guests checking in. It was a busy day for graduation parties and I just hope that they were all treated right. " Our Purpose is to bring people together to celebrate the love of family and friends", which is the main goal of this restaurant which I truly hope that you stand by with".
