Family meals were very inexpensive and good. Tonight my in-laws decided they wanted a steak dinner and took us to Longhorn for dinner. There were 4 at our party and three of us ordered the 6oz filet and my mother-in-law ordered grilled Lamb chops, we all enjoyed the dinners, and my filet was one of the best I've had in a long time. It was cooked perfectly med rare and seasoned to perfection I had a loaded baked potato and Caesar salad. My only issue was I didn't think my margarita was strong enough it was short on Tequila. We returned to LongHorn a few weeks ago to give it a second chance, after having the bad experience a year before. We were pleasantly surprised -- the experience was like night and day to our previous one. We ended up with a manager as our server, which I'm guessing enhanced our experience, but everything was very good. My filet was flavorful and lean, my bowl of shrimp/lobster chowder was delicious, and I was able to switch my second side to grilled mushrooms for just a small upcharge -- the perfect meal. My husband also loved his New York Strip. We were also happy to find out they had a full bar, with some Signature cocktails. We both tried (and liked) the Tito's Texas Tea.
