Longhorn Steakhouse is amazing. As the name suggests, they focus on serving all kinds of steak. Ribeye, Sirloin, T-Bone, Prime Rib, Flat Iron, Porterhouse,and the cream of the crop, so to speak, Filet Mignon. They are all cooked to order, from "rare" all the way up to "well done". My personal recommendation is the White Cheddar and Bacon Stuffed Filet. Cheese and bacon make just about everything better. For those not into steak, you can also get a variety of appetitzers, soups, sandwiches, seafood, chicken, pork chops, baby back ribs, salad, and other entrees Prices are on the high side, as it is a "casual dining restaurant" (for three people, each ordering a filet mignon and two sides, it was over $110 (that does include a tip). However, for the money, the food is fantastic. My steak was cooked just like I wanted it, and I was very satisfied. The bread they put on the table when you come in is also tasty, but don't fill up on it, save room for the good stuff. The only downside is, I generally like to have a soda with a fine steak, but they don't have any soda I like (I'm not a Coke person) so I usually end up drinking ice water. All the staff are very friendly, the host/hostesses, and the waitstaff. All in all, if you can scrape together the money, it's a fine meal. Highly recommended. *Update* I went back on 1/26/2016, and when I tried to order the White Cheddar and Bacon Stuffed Filet, I was told it was no longer on the menu. The food was good. Not excellent, not bad but just good. The waiter wasn't completely committed to us. He seemed to walk around and talk with his waiter friends more than serve us what we asked for. The way he was doing things was not in a timely manner. He was friendly not rude but just kind of distracted, but I would rather that than him being a complete a**, so I'm actually happy for that. My Uncle D. took me out to eat for my 40th birthday celebration. I chose to go to my favorite restaurant the Longhorn Steakhouse in West Wareham Mass that is located within Cranberry Crossing. I know it sounds silly going to a steakhouse when I'm a vegetarian, but there is certain things on the menu that I can have one being fish. Our waitress comes over a very pleasant and wonderful woman she gives us our menus and asks us what we would like for drinks. She brings our drinks and I asked her if there are any other fish dishes like haddock; she stated they only have shrimp and salmon. She mentioned to me that this coming Wednesday there is going to be a new edition on the menu a lobster baked potato, she explained what it was and I was very highly interested. Today being Monday and the lobster baked potato was not being available till Wednesday, I asked if there was any way that the kitchen can make an exception. I also told her that I would give her a review on the lobster baked potato. She left our table to go ask the kitchen. And yes they made the exception. I also ordered the cheese stuffed mushrooms. I was extremely happy and pleased. Our waitress was great, I met the manager and gave him the review on the lobster baked potato. I thanked him. I told him how wonderful the lobster baked potato was and how great our waitress is. I told him I was a vegetarian and choosing a steakhouse is some what difficult for me. I also advised him that it would be a great idea to get some vegetarian and vegan dishes on there menu. I give LongHorn Steak house a 5 Star rating. For food, service and hospitality. read more

Longhorn in Wareham is amazing. The food is always delicious and my steak is always made perfectly, (and even when it not the staff is great with checking in)! Ovel, Chelsea, Ainsley, and all the wait staff are kind and helpful. My family & I go to Longhorn almost 2-3 times a week, and we've become almost like family with the staff. The steaks are juicy & delicious, and I've never had a bad meal. This establishment is clean, upbeat & a great place to have a nice dinner with family & friends. Wait times are very reasonable, and I've never waited longer than 20 minutes to be seated. This team & restaurant is one of my Wareham favorites! read more

went today with three girlfriends. I had looked at the reviews which were not very good and was ready to speak up for myself. We got seated in a timely fashion, our waitress Kim was very good, and we ordered our meals. I ordered vegetables on the side, got a few bunches of brocalli on the plate, and asked for more. My friend asked for more lettuce for her ceasar salad and the waitress was very polite. I had caesar salad with salmon, and a side order of vegetables. Thank you Kim for your good service! read more

I have never been to a restaurant with such horrible customer service as you come through the door. Waited one hour and ten minutes. Watched tables become empty and not get wiped down for 20 minutes. Watched empty tables sit for just as long. Watched hosts walk around and do nothing more than chat with customers and between themselves and not help clear tables or try to get tables turned. Place was packed and these employees were so lazy that they didn't care. General manager was running the kitchen so she was not able to see what was going on. Even our waitress was annoyed with the way customers were being made to wait. We walked through the door 90 minutes ago and just got our drinks. Just. Wow. Wish I could give 0 stars. read more

What can I say, we go about once a month here. I usually get the Outlaw Ribeye and my wife the sirloin steak. Sometimes we try other things but usually stick with the above. I think you cannot find a better steak for the price (or more sometimes) anywhere and we have eaten at some of the best Charlies, Vitos Chop House, Cedars, Flemings etc. Crisp salads and fresh baked bread. This is why it is usually an hour wait on weekends. That being said about the food, our server who we ask for every time, Ainsley, is the best she has a memory like few in the business and exemplifies should be the textbook for the industry. This place is great all around. As far as the people complaining they didn't get there steak in 10 minutes they should stick with Taco Bell. read more

My boyfriend and I frequent longhorn on a regular basis. It's his favorite spot and I can't mind sharing that with him. We usually start on the chips and dip! I've never had homemade chips until I visited longhorn and it sounds so silly but I crave them on a regular basis. My boyfriend usually orders the salmon and devours it! I on the other hand love the spinach feta chicken on the light menu. The aspRagus comes out so crisp and fresh :) !! And don't get me started on their berry sangria!! read more

I have been to many a Longhorn, and I have always had a wonderful experience. I had hoped that this one would be no difference. However, my boyfriend - who was experiencing Longhorn for the first time - and I had a very negative experience at this particular branch a few weeks ago. From the minute we walked in the door, we both felt not only like an inconvenience but also as though no one in the establishment had any zeal for their job. My boyfriend I have both worked in restaurants for a collective 12 years, and we know that it isn't the most pleasant work all the time. However, in the service industry, you survive on tips, and therefore one would think that a server could look beyond the grueling work and put on a smile. The host didn't even stop walking when he dropped our menus without a word. We were not greeted for 10 minutes, and when we finally were greeted, it was another 10 minutes for a bottled beer and a glass of wine. Our server dropped the drinks and once again did not return for an extended period of time. Let me also prophase by saying the place was near deserted; I would have been completely fine with the time had the servers been in the weeds and moving around the restaurant. Not only were there lacking patrons, but the restaurant itself was filthy. It was as though no one had vacuumed the floor all week. We finally ordered our food, and in true fashion of the evening, we didn't see our server or our meals for 30 minutes. Additionally, the food that did make it to us was incorrect - over cooked and missing items that we had ordered - and we were not checked on to inform our server of that fact. Finally, we asked for our check, and when our server returned, he brought to go boxes and no check. We entered the restaurant around 6 on a slow evening, and we left irritated and hungry around 9 pm. I would absolutely go to another Longhorn again, but this instance was a real disappointment and turned me off to this location completely. We will never go back. read more

I just had dinner there last night. Unfortunately, we were not impressed with the food at all. We were seated with no problem and our waitress was fine although the food took a while. I ordered the Trio which they are promoting - a 6 oz. top sirloin, grilled chicken topped with a mushroom sauce and fresh salmon grilled on a cedar plank. My husband ordered the Grilled Chicken & Strawberry Salad. I enjoyed the chicken but the salmon and steak were overcooked. The meat actually had an odd smell. My husband's meal also had an odor. Needless to say, I did not finish my salmon or steak. The manager offered to cook another one for me but the replacement piece was also overcooked. If you are craving for a good steak, I would look else where. I would not go there again. read more

No Dog Lovers: After deciding to dine at the Long Horn restaurant in Wareham Friday night 8-12-2016, we called ahead to place our name on the guest list as advertised on the web site and arrived 20 minutes later. We parked our full sized 4 door F-150 truck in the Long Horn parking lot and opened all 4 windows 10" with our bulldog in the truck along with a 5 gallon bucket of cold water. It was after 7:30pm and dark so no sunlight was beating down on the truck in a 79 degree night. Even though we called ahead we still had to wait another 35 minutes for a seat making the call ahead policy meaningless since everyone that was already there was seated ahead of us anyhow, but I suppose that is the way it is. An hour later while we still had not received our meal a staff member came to our table concerned about our dog in the truck claiming he was in distress and in need of attention. I immediately got up and went outside to check on the dog who was fine and well deciding to sit in the driver's seat rather than stretch out in the back of the truck on the folded down rear seats. Getting back to my table and finally receiving and rushing through our adequate meal and sending my wife out to the truck while I paid the bill she found that the staff had called the police because the dog was still in the truck. The police had no problem with the situation and left without so much as a word to my wife about it or seeing a need to check on the dog while the two staff members were waving their arms all over the place. Unless these people have a veterinary degree and/or are versed in animal behavior of all breeds of dogs I suggest that stick to their job and clean the tables, maybe then I wouldn't have had to wait so long for a meal and they wouldn't feel the need to patrol the parking lots in a quest to be the one that found the dog in the car. My dog is a 10 year old Old English Bulldog, they pant. He pants in the winter, it is what they do. My dog does not like people approaching the truck beyond a certain boundary and will bark if you get too close, it is what dogs do. These people did more to aggravate my dog than anything else. It was no more than a witch hunt, they had no concern about the dog what so ever, their only concern was being the "one" to report it. After going back in to complain to the manager, he told me they were told to stay out of it. So not only are these people causing panic when there is no problem but the management can't control their employees. The whole experience was distressing to me and my wife and has certainly put us off on ever going to back to any Long Horn restaurant ever again. read more

Never coming back. 15 empty tables and a wait?? Bathroom was dirty. Men's room had pee all over the floor. Ladies room paper falling out of trash cans, never cleaned. Manager was belligerent and full of crazy excuses. Host was busy chatting with table bussers. Useless staff. Excellent lunch portions. Had a 6oz filet. It was tender but a little over cooked. They recently changed their bread. I guess it's the same recipe but it taste different to me. The waitstaff was amazing. She even made sure I had a full glass of soda to drink. read more

I was so so pleasantly surprised tonight. We were a walk in party of 10 and the wait was an hour. We waited because we love this place..it was an hour and a half wait. My sister is a type 1 diabetic and we couldn't wait any longer..they brought her a WHOLE loaf of bread, butter, and orange juice. They even gave us dessert on the house and a coupon for next time. I had another bad experience at Longhorn in Wareham, MA. Ordered steak tips medium and received literally bite size pieces of steak. Obviously there's no way to cook a tiny piece with a pink center. I sent it back and the manager came to the table and said he heard I had some tips that were cooked medium and some that were well done. I immediately corrected him and said it's impossible to cook bite size pieces any other way but well done and that the tips were too small to be considered steak tips of any kind. He only nodded in response and then asked if I wanted another meal to which I replied no thanks. The manager seemed unsympathetic and didn't even acknowledge that I was given a poor quality cut of steak. His comment made it seem as though my complaint was about a few pieces being overcooked which is still a wrong order regardless but that wasn't even the problem. That was the result of the problem. I've had issues with this location in the past. I've had food served cold, entire steaks well done when ordered medium and one time my order wasn't ready so everyone else was served first while I waited. There's only so many times I'm willing to give a restaurant a chance. This was the last one. It's unfortunate because my daughter loves Longhorn. It's her favorite place for steak and she's also a Darden employee at the Olive Garden in Hyannis. She told me she was shocked by how the situation was handled. I've eaten at her restaurant and the staff goes above and beyond when there's a problem with any meal. The manager, Heather is so professional and accommodating. Perhaps the Olive Garden staff should share their customer service expertise with this Longhorn. Just a thought. read more

We visited this location for my husband s b day celebration last wk with my kids and in laws. Upon entering I told the host party of 6 and he proceeded to bring us to a table in the back of the restaurant. The WORST table in the place! You know, the one where the waiters butts r facing u when they put in their orders. I kindly and immediately asked for another table. ( The place was about 1/4 full.) The host actually snickered and was clearly annoyed!! WTF! My elderly in laws picked up on it too. If it wasn't for them and the kids, my husband and I would've walked out. When is it OK to treat customers like that!? On a positive note, our waitress, Kathleen was AWESOME!! If case your curious about the host, he's the dark skinned boy with sort of orange highlighted/hair and slightly flamboyant.
