The morning after I wrote my review I was contacted by Blake, the owner of Look Auto Body. This was very unexpected but really appreciated. He was emphatic that my experience was unacceptable to him & was not a true reflection of his business. He offered me a free detail to make up for the miscommunication & to show me the quality of his work. I decided to meet with him at his shop to have him look at my truck & talk about the repairs needed. I met with Blake that evening after his normal business hours due to my schedule. About five years ago I had taken the same truck to Los Gatos Auto Body (now Caliber Collision) to get some repairs done & Blake was in charge of that work. First of all, I don't usually bother to write a review except I really need to give a rate lower than three. But, for Look Auto Body, I do want to write the review for the awesome service they provide. Here is the story: I own a 1998 BMW Z3M roadster with beautiful evengreen color. One guy from my company hit on the rear bumper when he was parking his car. Luckily he left a note and his insurance took care of the process. Look Auto Body is on their body shop list and the review on yelp seems good compared with others (at least no 1 star ratings). So I decided to try them. Needless to say, the repair was great and the car was cleaned inside and outside. This is not the best part. When I drove off their shop, I noticed the rear lights were off and some unrecognized rock chips (I was not sure if it was a rock chip because the location is pretty close to the front window). I called back to the shop the they recommended me to go back and take a look. I drove back after work, and they found out the lights were broken. The owners Blake and Mike helped to reinstalled with good lights without any charge, and offered me a complementary touch up for (most if not all) the rock chips on the hood. I am very surprised with the outcome and happy to work with them, including Blake's brother Chase, who drove me back home and picked me up with his Yukon. They are very nice people to work with and have great skills. I love old cars and if I would need to paint a car or body shop related work, I would definitely call Blake first. read more

I brought my car in for body repair due to my car being hit and damaged in an accident. I also decided to get detailing done, because I had deep scratches and swirl marks throughout my car's finish... It looked terrible! Blake(owner) quoted me 4 days to get everything done and it was finished in 31/2 days. The body work was impeccable and I couldn't believe the shine on my car after the detailing, it was gorgeous! All the scratches and swirl marks were removed and the cars finish looked like glass. My car is 8 years old and it now looks like it just drove off the showroom floor. Got into an auto accident for the first time with my 03 e500 and was quoted 3800 from another body shop to replace my passenger fender and light with aftermarket parts.Took my car down to look auto body and they were able to cut that price down by 1500 while replacing the parts using OEM parts in addition they took extra time in order to find a passenger fender in the same color scheme so I would not have to pay for a paint job. Turn around time was quick the car was ready a day earlier than expected and detailed inside and out.
