3130 s Parker RD. I was on appointment on last Tueasday. My eyes were red, watery and itchy and the doctor told me this is an allergy, prescribed me eye drops. After 5 days I start to feel worse. I found a good doctor read review and make an appointment and before I read on internet my symptoms and it looked like viral conjunctivitis. When I went to another doctor, he confirmed my version, it turned out to be viral conjunctivitis, and it is contagious. I hope I haven't infected anyone. Now answer me a question. If a doctor can't tell an allergy from viral conjunctivitis, please tell me what kind of doctor he is and what did he study for so many years? Unfortunately, this is not uncommon. It's a pity I didn't remember his last name. I will never go back to the Look optic clinic again. read more

At first they forgot to give me a cleaning cloth and a good cover for my I've Saint Laurent glasses. I paid extra for them. I sent an email saying so and Olga, an assistant that work in there called me righ away and I was given two more covers, one that protects more my glasses and one with the name brand Dolce and Gabanna!. She also gave me extras sprays to clean my glasses! I was satisfied with what they offer so if you go, don't forget to ask for the cleaning cloth and if you don't like the case just said so so they can give you options! read more

Gosh, Look Optical, thanks for absolutely no help in an emergency! When the expensive frames I bought here broke in the middle of the day, I hoped they'd patch them up until I could order another pair. Instead, a staff member responded with "not fixable," "no," and [blank stare] when I asked about a warranty. At a time where everything is expensive enough that putting food on the table is difficult, this fine establishment makes the bold move of letting customers know they couldn't give the tiniest of craps about them. I can hear the staff rolling their eyes as they read this, but don't worry, I won't be back! Instead, I'll let people know what they can expect from Look Optical on Parker Road. when I was picking my glasses, Olga was helping me. The price came up on the screen and without telling me she says I can lower this. My attitude is I want what I want. Don't assume I can't pay for it because I'm black. She finally gave me the amount I said OK that's fine. After receiving my glasses, I kept going in complaining I couldn't see they wouldn't send me back to the doctor or anything they kept saying keep wearing them. You'll get used to them. I had already had my focus see just fine. When they finally compared my old glasses to my new Olga had given me some cheap lens. Blacks deserve the best also. My old glasses had top of the line lens. Olga had given me some cheap lens. When they finally figured it out. The gave me $200 of my next len. It was better than nothing, but it didn't make up for not being able to see whole year. read more

This was my first time visiting Look Optical. The staff is nice, I was seen right at the time of my appointment, didn't have to wait long, got my exam and bought 2 pairs of glasses for a price of 1. I was thinking what a great deal I am getting. BUT, one pair was perfect, but the second pair was no good. I wasn't able to see through the right lens. Everything was blurry and the reflection from the side was in my eye constantly. I brought it back, and even though the guy at the desk is very nice, he told me there's nothing wrong with it and he can't help me. So, no, not a great deal for me after all, when 1 pair of brand new glasses was a bad product that I had to trash because I just couldn't see with it. read more

Only writing this review because I read all the reviews before coming here and it made me super nervous - I can't comment on the process of ordering glasses yet because I'm waiting for my frames to come in to order the lenses but I had an exam with Dr.Thu and she was incredibly sweet, we almost had to start from scratch just because I lost my glasses and the pair I had were so old but she did everything she could to make sure I had an updated prescription that was comfortable to wear. read more

I kept getting spammed via text message about having renewed insurance benefits and that I should schedule an eye exam, so I finally relented. I scheduled an exam and confirmed via the automated text system. When I show up, they have no record of my appointment despite the confirmation, and they have no record of my insurance despite messaging me about my renewed benefits. When I dig out my insurance info they say they have to move my appointment to another day because they have a schedule to keep -- as if upending my entire day twice doesn't wreck *my* schedule. You only get one set of eyes, people. Don't trust them to people who make mistakes. I'll be going elsewhere, even though they're by far the closest opticians. read more

I've been a customer of Dr. Thu for over 5 years. She is increasingly professional, compassionate, and willing to truly listen. During my annual eye exams, she always walks me through my various options for contact lenses, allowing me a chance to try different styles and brands before committing. The service from the staff has been nothing but friendly and professional for me, from scheduling an appointment (great flexible weekend hours!) to picking up my glasses. Waste of time for long time customer. Look changed their policies and did not bother to tell us(forgot, too busy, doesn't care?) that instead of our Vsp insurance, they only provide partial benefits under a new program. For example, your 120 frame allowance is only worth 55 with them. While they were perfectly willing to take all my information and send me daily reminders, they could not take 5 minutes to call, email or text me of this change. Perfectly willing to take a customer that spent thousand plus dollars over the years and expect us to just pay more because we were already there for the appt. I now have too find another provider and wait longer to get what I need because of their lack of consideration for a customer that have been going there for years. Apparently they have enough business that customer loyalty is meaningless. read more

I came here last Dec for my eye exam and contacts fitting. I saw 2 different Dr.'s which is fine, because the 2nd appointment was a follow up regarding my trial contacts. They were able to schedule me in right away and the customer service was great. I asked questions regarding my insurance and what was the co pay or any additional fees that my insurance did not cover. They were able to give me detailed answers and some. Unfortunately the contacts weren't working out so well for me, it keeps rolling back on my upper pupil which sucked! I just found out that they have a 90 days guarantee for any issues and whatnot. Since I've been traveling a lot, I passed it by a week. At first the receptionist said that there's nothing else that she can do, so I asked for a supervisor. However, I know that she was just doing her job, but no way I was going to be okay with paying another $150.00 for new fitting and exam for my contacts again. Crazy! Anyhow, what could have been awful changed to great! The supervisor's name was Colin, he was super nice, I explained the situation to him and he was very understanding. Also, considering that I am only a week shy from the 90 days guarantee mark. He was able to schedule me in for the next day! I would recommend coming here, they are very helpful and patient. read more

I went for my yearly exam on Friday Aug 4,2023. Saw Dr. Alan Glinkman, whom I've avoided for several years being he was extremely rude to me at another location years ago. He basically scolded me for not being able to see well. I told him all the times I've tried to use a toric lense (contacts) I can tell that one eye prescription is different than the other...Since it is! He yelled at me and told me to get it out of my mind that they are different...oh okay until I open my eyes! He is not a pleasant person. I told the staff when I left that I wanted his name so the next time I need to come in, I will be make sure he is not the one working that day. STILL rude and unprofessional. Please get another Dr. at this location. His treatment of patients is unacceptable. He didn't even allow me to put my contacts back into my eyes before I left the exam room. Couldn't wash my hands to do this. So, I ended up putting them in at the eye glass area, just wanted to get out of there he made me so upset. Please get someone else in there. I certainly can not be the only person who has complaints on this man. read more

So my experience this year has not been the best. The prescription I received was not correct which is definitely something I can understand. I went in for a follow up appointment and they sent my glasses back to be corrected. It has now been 10 days and they still don't have them in and have no idea or way of checking to find out when they'll be in. I almost wonder if they forgot to send them in as it did not take nearly this long to get them the first time. It's been over a month since my first appointment. Don't be deceived. Yes, the hours say that they are open 9am to 6pm M-F, but what the really means is that the staff is barely getting there at 9, fervently scrambling to get to work and signed in. Once someone acknowledges you, they instruct you to get your paperwork done. After you are all checked in they notify you that the doctor won't be in to see you until 9:30... I feel that this place is really overstaffed with all of the employees just standing behind the reception desk, chatting away while you're left to just sit and wait for the doctor that has been sitting in the back the whole time you've been there or she gets their later. No sense of urgency. Did I mention I was the only patient there on a Monday morning? read more

To be fair my initial visit was fine, the optometrist and staff were friendly and I got a fair price on glasses with my insurance. However, when I picked up the glasses there was a chip in the frame. They told me this is covered by their warranty and would order new frames. This sounded fine, but since then it has been over a month and the new frames have not arrived. It's been quite frustrating because nobody has followed up with me, rather I have had to call them 3 times and stop by the office once in person to ask about the status of my order. Everytime it seems like the order has not been placed and nobody follows through with what they seem to say. I just wish there was some email or printed confirmation of the order. It could be that the order has been super delayed, but I doubt it takes over a month to reorder frames only. I feel like I've treated in a dishonest and dismissive way. read more

The glasses I got had to be replaced after about a month after I got them because they were scratched. The replacement lenses got scratched just as quickly. I was told my lenses have minimal glare, less light refraction and lighter weight with scratch resistant and minimal glare coatings, which does not appear to be the case since the glasses I had for 4 years from LensCrafters had less scratches on them. They never got my script right, but I got tired of going over there, so I settled. LensCrafters have better quality lenses and vision screening/testing processes for the same price as Look Optical. I feel like they are friendly, but are incompetent and overpriced. read more

Now to add insult to injury on my prior review, my frames were returned to this office. I went to pick them up and took them to another business for my lenses. It turns out Look Optical already charged my insurance for my lenses even though I spoke to their general manager after my last review advised me my frames would be returned. At that point they should have reversed charges, they didn't I drove back to this office to get this taken care of. I now have to wait until Monday for them to reach out to my insurance to reverse the payment. They just keep wasting my gas, time and showing me their true colors. read more

Great and friendly staff! This is not the closest location to our home...but the staff is worth the extra miles and extra time. They have a great selection of frames! Our family absolutely love Dr. Thu Cao. We have also been helped by Arian Ordoubadi and Meriem Sbaghi. At our last visit, all three stayed after the office was already closed at 6pm. We felt bad but they insisted that we take our time and there was no rush. They are extremely friendly and helpful. I highly recommend that you reach out to Dr. Cao, Arian, or Meriem when making your appointments. My husband and I went to Look Optical Aurora on 10/10/20 for or eye exam and glasses. Both of us needed new glasses. So we ordered and paid in full for our eye glasses and sunglasses. My glasses and sunglasses were ready by 10/17/20. When I went to go pick up my glasses on 10/24/20 the front door was wide open do I walked only to be kicked out right away. They told me I couldn't come inside (I had my fave mask on too). So they young gets my glasses basically hands them to me. I was not allowed to come in and make sure they fit. I stopped the you g lady and told her I need my sunglasses adjusted. I had to stand outside the entire time I was so frustrated that when she brought the glasses back I just accepted my order and left. Also while we were there we asked if my husband's glasses were ready and was told they had not received them from the lab Ave that they would call us on 10/19/20 with an update. No one called and I tried to call the store on 10/29/20 to inquire about my husband's glasses and the store is closed. You cannot leave a voicemail. Do I called the location in North Denver and was told they should open in a few days. Right now we are out $500. I have used Look Optical for over 10 years and have never experience this but I tell you I will NEVER GO BACK! I just hope we can at least get our money back. read more

Visited before heading to Starbucks. Got an apt right away. My eye exam was fine. The service with my frame selection process seemed fine initially. Once my frames were received, they could never get fit comfortably, even after several adjustment, and the lenses were not correct which kicked in my migraines. The staff that work with the frames selection and adjuatment process we irritated and annoyed then download right hostile and rude because I needed additional assistance to get my glasses fit and made correct. I have been getting annual eye exams and glasses over 40 years and never had such a terrible experience. Six months later, these glasses that have an anti scratch coating and cleaned with the soft clothes for glasses look absolutely terrible with numerous scratches. Not worth the cost at all. 2 stars for the eye Dr. But I would not recommend this place to friends and family. Even filed an official complaint with my insurance company. After speaking to others about my experience here, apparently what I experienced is the norm. Wish I knew about the terrible service beforehand. High $$$ lesson learned :( read more

I love these guys. First, a few years ago, Dr. Kani saved the sight in my right eye when I had shingles. He promptly and correctly diagnosed the tiny spot I was experiencing in that eye. I purchased glasses from them in 2016, great service, great glasses. I needed new glasses and returned because my 1st experience was nice, BUT something drastic has changed. The customer service is abysmal! I went back to get new glasses, one pair I didn't even pick, the sales girl did and I'm dumb and didn't say, "I don't like those". I explained to the sales lady (because I have an rx on file, I see no doctor), I really need these I'm struggling at work during presentations which is half my job. She says no problem, we'll put a rush on these. Week one: "You don't have too call us ma'am, someone will contact you when they come in". End of week 2 (Saturday), I call again and was told yes my glasses were in?? Whatever, I run over to get my glasses before Monday. I'm handed them by a receptist from plastic bags covered in a layer of dust. In generic glass cases, (I brought Michael Kors) No adjustments, no review of the features. Again, my bad. I felt very unwanted in the obviously crowded store. I get home to notice that the $336 extra enhancements I made to my glasses are MIA. No transition lens, no blue tint for fluorescent lights, nothing. I have two pairs of glasses that feel like cheap plastic (not the ones I handled in the store). My largest complaint is I'm transitioning jobs, hence the upgrade on the glasses. So that vision plan is defunct. I will have to continue working with these people to rectify the issue. Boooooo! I really shouldn't be this upset over buying new glasses. read more

I just wanted a pair of bifocal glasses. I asked where the cheap frames were....the glasses I needed were for computer/reading, I did not need fancy. I found a cool pair of red frames and the gal told me I could BOGO free. I picked another frame for same price, she told me that these frames were not good for bifocals...I asked why. She sent her manager over and he said these were known to break if used as a bifocal. Ridiculous. He recommended that I buy more expensive frames so that the bifocal would work better. I am in my 60's....bought hundreds of glasses in my lifetime...never heard such a thing. Bifocals do need a bigger frame, which I selected. The frames recommended were much more expensive. Why are you selling them if they are substandard, I asked him. He said they try to provide a variety. I could buy the "inferior" frames if I choose to, he said, it is my choice and it was said with a shake of the head. Left a bad taste in my mouth, I went elsewhere where I felt more welcomed and wasn't pressured into the upsell. I will never go back there. read more

I absolutely love this place.. We have purchased ten pairs of glasses just this year alone for my husband and kids because they have so much to choose from,and we can't seem to just make up our mind. My 8 and 6 year old who are now wearing glasses,was so scared at first but the Dr. was so great with my kids that they came out excited and was eager to find them the glasses they wanted.. The Manager that helped us was so helpful, he answered every question we had and made sure the glasses was going to work great for my kids who don't know how to take care of them, Thank goodness I listened because we have been back twice to get them fixed and not once did he ever act as if we were a nuisance, always treated us great. I give them two thumbs up and recommend them for all who loves variety and helpful recommendations when choosing the glasses that will be right for them. read more

My husband and I were able to book appointments same day and our appointments took less time than we took to pick out our frames! I came here per a friend's a suggestion. Usually, I don't expect much from an optometry visit, as I only need new prescriptions for my contacts and glasses. However, Dr. Thu was wonderful in explaining to me what I should not do with my contacts, and also was thorough with my eye exam, asking me about a mole on one eye that is often not mentioned by previous optometrists. The front desk staff was wonderful and helpful in rescheduling my initial eye exam, and again when I needed help with my rebate voucher. The office is very clean and spacious, and they have a good selection of glasses should you need a new pair. read more

I've been a look customer since my arrival in Colorado 6 years ago. Til this point I've been very pleased with there work. They had very up to date stylish frames, and they always had gotten my glasses to me in a timely fashion. On January 4th I went to have my routine exam, got a new prescription that the optometrist told me we're not as strong as the previous ones because my vision had indeed got better. I wear two pair of prescription glasses. One is pair of designer shades and the other a pair designer everyday glasses. I give them my designer shades to Re-lense them with the new script. I had just purchased these shades from look in 2017. I asked for the exact same lenses, everything was supposed to bee identically the same except a new script and an upgrade on the progressive I even paid the difference out of my pocket . My glasses didn't come back until January 30th and I have no idea what order was placed in, what was given to me was some huge ugly coke bottle size lenses, and they weren't even shades, they were regular glasses with some type of tint in them. In the bag they had my old lenses and a of clear lenses I have no idea where those came from. I didn't even place them on my face to see if the prescription was correct. The young lady that presented me the glasses. The same young lady that placed the order, acted as if she had no clue what the issue was and what was ordered. She spoke with the store manager who told her too tell me they would send these back to the lab correct them and they offered me some sort of upgrade. No problem just get them corrected. Mind you I'm still wearing old glasses with an old script that I can't have upgraded until these are right. I get the call February 7th your glasses are ready. I asked the young lady on the phone. Are they right this time. She says yeah I leave work to get them and at least this time they were shades. But a still same coke bottle size lenses. The young lady that presented them to me same girl. Kept cleaning them as if that were gonna make a difference. I looked at the glasses and looked like the lenses were poorly soddered onto the frame. And appear the frame was cracked. I showed them pictures of the original glasses letting them see the lenses were never this thick, and the original lenses that they had the 1st time available for me was nowhere to be found this. Just another pair of tented lenses that did not belong to me. The office manager came out stated that hAd a new lab which was different than the lab that originally did these frames in 2017. She said they would send them backk again, now I'm waiting for them to come back correctly before sending my everyday pair in to be upgraded but at this point I've lost all faith in lookk optical. I received my glasses a little less than a month ago. The glasses were too big for my face, even with them adjusting it. I said I'd take it home to see how I feel. I call in today, and they told me that I can only exchange and no return. FYI guys, this store (maybe company) has virtually no options. They told me I couldn't return it since they were customized? This optometrist is conveniently located on the corner of Havana and Parker and has some of the friendliest, most knowledgeable staff I've ever encountered at an office. For such a small facility, Look Optical carries a surprisingly wide selection of high quality and designer frames. Their selection of budget-friendly frames is limited, but the staff is very knowledgeable about insurance coverage and helped us find the best possible solution for our situation. The turn-around on the contact lenses was fantastic--one week for my husband's lenses (which included a holiday weekend) and one day for my own. Quick, efficient, and friendly--couldn't ask for better! read more
