What initially drew me in to this store was that I was looking for a new Alex and Ani bracelet that had just came out, the sales associate asked me if I was looking for something in particular and she was able to locate the charm bracelet right away. She held it at the counter for me so that I could continue to look around. I had just moved into my apartment and found a large piece of artwork that I really liked, the sales people told me that it was the last one of that painting and took it off the wall for me, they even gave me a couple of special nails from the drawer to hang it when I got home! I call that friendly customer service and that is what keeps me coming back. The current staff members are real genuine and their service are top-notch. They carry most uniform sizes in the store, however, finding the perfect boot size was a bit more difficult to locate. But no worries! They will order whatever size you want immediately and it'll take a week or two to arrive. A nice seamstress in the back of the store will size you up for the perfect uniform fit before total purchase. The patches are sewn on perfectly and it looks real professional. Unfortunately, the sewn on name tags are NOT made here but in their parent store in Newark...so you'll have to wait for that to arrive before picking up your new uniform. I have had these same items embroidered in the past without issues. This time around they placed the logo and name on different sides of the various items. They never said that they would have to do this, and there was no communication from them what so ever. When I noticed that they misplaced the logo and name on my coats and brought them back to the store, the gentleman behind the counter who took my order said he had no notes on the order regarding placement, and that he could offer a refund for these misprints but had to go get his manager George. When George came, he stated that this is why he does not want to let people bring their own items in to be embroidered, because they are too picky. I am not being picky, i just expected uniformity. This was not an issue on previous orders, but now it was. George did not offer anything to resolve this for me. Being a repeat customer, and having just ordered 500 dollars of embroidery, I would have been happy with them simply crediting me for the items that were mis-embroidered, like the one gentleman offered to do. I was going to be ordering dozens of t-shirts from them for the warmer months, but i will no longer being using them. They were rude and acted like i created the problem, when they simply messed up. Everyone messes things up sometimes, but when you do you have to be accountable for it, and most businesses try to keep their clients happy. They do not communicate at all, and never even let you know when your order is ready for pickup, but they have no problem blasting your email with junk. I would not recommend them to anyone, especially a smaller company or individual. They do not care about their clients. If you are somebody that is looking for printing, marketing, or embroidery services, look elsewhere. You will be much happier, and you will get what you actually pay for. Zero stars.

To our great dismay, by only the third week of June, the bracelet had already broken twice. On each occasion and for no apparent reason, it broke apart between two of the links. After the first time it broke, I gave Eric the opportunity to repair it. When it broke the second time, I requested a refund--in person, in a phone call and in an email. Eric has wrongfully refused my requests for a refund. And now we are out the good money we paid for the bracelet and left with a broken subpar bracelet that can't be worn. Clearly, the bracelet is defective. For it to have broken two times and within such a short span of time is not normal. It indicates that it is not "fit for its ordinary purpose". NJ recognizes an implied warranty that merchandise sold is fit for its ordinary purpose. Eric has cited that he has a no return policy. He refuses to acknowledge that I am not seeking a return under an ordinary return policy (i.e., because I changed my mind, wrong size or color, etc.), I'm seeking a remedy for defective merchandise he sold me. What kind of business operates like this? In light of the poor way I was treated and the poor quality of the product I purchased, BUYER PLEASE BEWARE of Jewelry By Eric! Stay away! UPDATE: I just learned that Eric is now lying and blaming the defect/damage on my daughter by saying the damage was caused by "customer's use of the bracelet ." Funny, on neither occasion when I brought the broken bracelet back to him for his inspection, did he mention anything about the damage being my daughter's fault. The fact that he is falsely accusing my daughter of being responsible for the damage is appalling and offensive. She is currently a resident/doctor at a top medical institution who knows how to wear and care for fine jewelry. Again, I warn the public: Do Not Shop at Jewelry by Eric!
