When I used Top Line I thought they were terrific from the moment I stepped foot on their lot through to completion of the project. The sales staff was knowledgeable and courteous telling me everything I needed to know about granite and more. The yard is laded with granite slabs to pick from. You actually pick your slab(s), which was kind of fun. Depending on the size of the job, I was told how many slabs would be needed, and how many seams to expect. Once I selected my granite type, Uba Tuba, we then went through all slabs to find the two that most closely resembled each other in color definition. The sales rep was extremely patient with us as my wife and I never agree on anything. Once the slabs were selected, I was told when they could be delivered and installed, so I could coordinate with my kitchen cabinet contractor. They showed up on time and did a great job, with no problems. The seams are barely noticeable. Sorry the other reviewer had a bad experience. But mine was the complete opposite and I have recommended Top Line to family and friends. I give four stars, and I feel like I am being stingy, let's call it 4.5.

Reached the company nobody called back. We found out the company filed for bankruptcy a year ago. The part that is more frustrating here is that they were still open making sales to customers who they knew they were not be able to deliver or install their items. Long story short almost three months later, No countertops and no money back. just put our claim with the Worcester bankruptcy court where their case is currently open. Lesson learned, just verify the stay of the company before your purchase any items so this doesn't happen to you.

We had scheduled a repair call for today on our 2 year old Yale Range hood. First, two days ago, they narrowed the service window to noon-to-2pm. Today, they texted at 7:57 am to confirm our tech is Mike, that we were his 4th call, and they expected he would arrive at about 12:30. As the morning progressed, they updated the time to 12:45. Low and behold, Mike arrived at 12:42 and was finished by 1:05. This is why all of our major appliances at our Boston apartment and at our weekend house on Cape Ann are now from Yale Appliance!

They provided a schematic of how the door would look, and an easy to understand and competitively priced project proposal. The proposal also detailed several options we were considering, including 1/2" glass. We opted to move forward with Pioneer, they estimated it would take approximately three weeks to order our custom door. Just under three weeks later, our door arrived and was installed a few days later. There were no issues, the measurements were correct, door looked great and worked perfectly and swings easily, all 90 pounds of glass. And the 1/2" glass gives the shower a high-end look and feel. We'd be delighted to work with them again on our next glass related project.

The maintenance supervisor for the facility had been soliciting replacement prices for awhile, nothing affordable came in. He mentioned to me the need to replace several windows, I suggested Pioneer. They came in measured and had a more than competitive price in hand within a couple of days. Quoted an accurate lead time and delivered and installed on time. The windows are beautiful, the price was more than fair, and the installation was completed without a hitch. Jake and the crew at Pioneer are a great team, and do exactly what they promise.

The item they delivered, however, was too deep and did not fit the space, actually blocking one of the entrances to our unit. We also had told them that the doors had to be reversed to open on the right, but that was not how it was delivered. When advising them of the problems, Hudson asked if we had checked the dimensions of the unit they recommended; to which I replied, "Did you check the dimensions we gave YOU?" No reply. When I asked why the installers didn't call Hudson to alert them that the refrigerator was blocking the door, I was told that they "just deliver and set up." When we told them that the doors were not reversed as we had asked, they told us that they could not be reversed; despite their telling us originally that they could. Despite this being clearly their fault, when we asked them to take it back, Hudson said that we would be responsible for a 30% restocking fee. We had considered going to Small Claims Court to resolve this, and we are confident that we would have won; however, we decided that it was not worth our time to save $250. They eventually took back the refrigerator and charged the 30% restocking fee. Having spent 30 years in senior management for large and small retail companies, I can say with conviction that this was extremely poor customer service and one of the worst experiences I have ever had as a consumer. I do not like leaving negative reviews, particularly for small box stores, but given their indifference to us, I feel compelled to call out Hudson Appliance for this terrible experience.

From what I remember on my most recent visit, she didn't ask me to put on a mask, but that review was written 3 years ago. Part of my decision to write this review is it's such a nice little store for our local area, and the woman who runs it is polite and I think is a great member of our community, and it seems unfair her only review is a 1 star review from someone who doesn't understand the concept of private property or business ownership. If you want an example of some of the stuff that is sold here, one of the things I've bought was an antique 48 star hand flag, which I appreciate as a fan of flags. The rudeness came from the preteen. Who followed her around demanding answers of her about the violation of their "rights". Anyone who has had a preteen will tell you that they do not innately possess, righteous indignation as they have not developed philosophies of life on their own. This is taught and parroted back in the hopes of pleasing their trainers. What does it say when we teach our children this level of aggression and entitlement at such a tender age? The store is a gem and a high rated Pepperell attraction. Check it out if your in the area!
