I dropped my dog off and got charged 48 dollars for grooming. When I got my dog back, he still smelled bad. It gave me the impression that they just sprayed cologne on him and that was it. My dog is very strong and I can't control his urges. When I picked him up, the owner was displeased that my dog urinated all over and advised that I should walk him. Lorrie did an amazing job with my cat! The inside of the place is clean and adorable and the staff are super friendly. I'm actually happy my previous groomer left or else I would've never found this kitty haven. We did a bath, a belly shave for shedding purposes and she practically brushed half size of my cat out of her coat. With a one year old whose overly obsessed with his "baby", as he calls the cat, I am so happy there's extremely less amounts of fur floating around for him to ingest. She smells super clean (can we make my toddler smell this way please!) and she is bright white again (ahhh she blends in with my rug now! Thank god she has blue eyes). I've been using a mobile groomer for years. I have two mini Australian Labradoodles. Both have been getting groomed about every 4 weeks. I wanted to switch to a grooming shop instead of mobile as the reliability of appointments with a mobile groomer is not too great. I initially called just to find out the cost of grooming, I've been paying about $110 per dog. I was quoted $95 per dog but could be a bit higher based on the condition of the dog. A few days later I called to schedule a grooming appointment for the dogs and again asked the cost question. Again, I was quoted $95 per dog, depending on the condition of the dog. I took the dogs in and picked them up several hours later. Their grooming was fine but was then told it was $140 per dog. I asked why when I was quoted $95 per dog. I was given the "it was only an estimate" and then started to list off all the "things" they had to do to groom the dog (which happen to be the actual job of grooming the dog). I paid, walked out the door and will NEVER go back again. It's very sad the way I was given a bait and switch for dog grooming. Had she said originally it was going to be $110, I would have still gone there to try them. Even if at that point I was told $120 or $125, I would have been okay with that. But to increase the price by 47% from the original quote is OUTRAGEOUS. Too bad for Lorrie, I could have been a regular customer with two dogs a month. Instead, they now have made a few bucks extra and lost a long-term customer. read more

I asked for them to mainly clip his nails because I have a 2 year old daughter and sometimes he accidentally scratches her. When I went to pick my dog up, the lady said he wouldn't let her cut his nails? I paid for a service and they didn't even cut his nails. When they called me to tell me he was ready to be picked up, I told them I'm at a doctor appointment and I'll be there as soon as I can. The woman on the phone said "okay, well if you can get here as soon as possible, he is a barker." Like isnt being around dogs your job? I paid $50 for a service that wasn't even done. I Came in with my Wheaton Terrier and explained in detail how I would like my dog's hair groomed. He has the worst haircut I have ever seen. Holes of hair gone in his leg area, completely disconnected hair in areas I asked to be tapered. When I went in to discuss my frustration to Lorri, the one who owns the so called "paw spa", she was the most rude "hairdresser" I have ever met. She argued with me, and told me that she had been listening to the conversation earlier and blatantly called me a liar and threw my money down on the table turned her back and walked back to her station. As soon as I paid, the girl "helping" me seemed to brush me off and get annoyed when I asked how he behaved during the time. I'm also disappointed that I had to come home and wash his paws because they were wet and smelled like pee.
