We generally avoid the outlets on weekends but decided to try Lorus out on a Wednesday night. We were seated immediately and ordered tacos and a burger. Both dishes were pretty good, and portions are generous however their seasoned fries are stellar. They have a small but fair selection of bottled beers. Wow!!!! This place definitely EXCEEDED with expectations. First time coming here with my significant other & his nephew. The experience and food were impeccable. I tried this place last weekend for brunch, and it didn't disappoint. They have bottomless mimosas, the service is great and staff is very friendly . I had the chicken and waffles with fried chicken and it was very good. They were launching Menudo that weekend, but it wasn't the best. They also have a holiday menu with smaller plates. In short - 10/10 Service was so quick and attentive! Stopped in on a Sunday morning after a long drive, the place was full, but the service was spectacular- you wouldn't have known how busy it was. I had a bit of a particular taste and made some modifications to my meal, it came out absolutely perfect! The food was so good!!! The food was terrible, the patty within my melt was 100% unseasoned and I had to add my own salt and pepper to make it edible. Further, my fiancé ordered the fish tacos, to which they gave us tortillas that were microwaved and fell apart before she could even eat them. This place was one of the worse tasting foods I've had in Camarillo in a long time. Comparisons: Bea bea's in burbank blows this place out of the water. Higher selection and food quality, and you don't wait an HOUR for one patty melt. Two trees in Ventura has far better food and is within driving range of this place. read more

We got there as they were transiting to lunch from breakfast and some of the breakfasts I saw coming out looked great and unique. I met my friend here for her birthday since she recommended it. For being in a outlet mall it was better than I expected. It was your standard diner style restaurant with a lot of your basics, omelettes, pancakes and burgers, but also had Mexican foods like chilaquiles and breakfast burritos. The breakfast burrito was humungous- and it came with 2 pancakes! It was so big I actually had to take some home with me. The flavor was pretty good but nothing to write home about, standard but good. The server was really nice and attentive, the prices were good, and the food came out quick. I would recommend eating here if you didn't want to wait around for the Cracker Barrel and wanted something quick and filling. Review is for coffee only. We ordered an iced Americano and was asked if we want cream or water, which should have been a red flag. They looked confused when we asked for it to be iced, but thier menu CLeARLY said Americano (hot/iced). It was 6.99 for ONE watered down Americano. I could not taste the expresso shot. We wanted to try something different, so we went to this establishment. We got sat down right away, and it took the waiter a little time to even ask for our drink order. Once Leo, took our drink order a cup of coffee and Diet Coke and brought it, he was missing in action! We wanted a good 10 to 15 minutes. As he was walking by, I told him we were ready . He took the food orders. I noticed ants crawling on the table and wall . I killed at least four of them on the table. He brought the food out and my wife's bacon wasn't crisp and was sagging. My wife told the waitress and she took it back. My wife was feed up by the poor service and told the waiter she didn't want the meal after all. I paid for a brunch burger that was okay , a cup of coffee and Diet Coke! Will never encourage anyone to visit this establishment ! read more

We ate breakfast here because we wanted a 10am jump on a bit of outlet shopping and they took reservations (not necessary in retrospect on a Tuesday morning). Service was fine. The waitress asked the cook what was gluten free for our celiac disease girl. The OJ was squeezed in front of us ---very nice. My son's Bloody Mary was a full artistic meal. After this, the food was, I'm afraid quantity, not quality. With each of our meals she asked if we wanted avocado (but never mentioned that it would be an extra charge). The "hollandaise" sauce on my son's bene tasted like pure butter (where's the lemon) and the eggs were overcooked (which he didn't mind but I would have sent them back). My wife's veggie omelet was ok but overpriced and kind of boring. My chilaquiles verde were huge but disappointing. The verde sauce tasted straight out of a can with one tiny piece of pork. At least the hash browns were nice and crispy. None of us could eat more than 50% of our meals as they were so huge and quite expensive for a simple cafe. I think it is a trend in this country for restaurants to increase the size by 50% to "justify" raising their prices by 50%--no wonder 60% of Americans are overweight! we will find another place next time read more

It's been a long time since I had chilaquiles and the last place was Sages in Westlake who I thought by far had the best. Loru's rocked it. It was absolutely phenomenal with great tast to the chille verde salsa. Now for the surprise. The cinnamon rolls were like apple cinnamon on crack. It as mmmm mmm mm good. Yes it's sweet and we both loved it. At first I thought my daughter burned her mouth but it was pure bless. Then I had to obviously try after hearing her expression of foodie pleasure. It's now one of our favorite places to go to. Our server was a delight as well. Forgot his name but the host and staff just had a great energy. We will definitely come back. See you there read more

This place was amazing! It was their grand opening today & they did not disappoint. Our waiter, Andrew was pleasant & very attentive. I got their Mozzarella sticks as an appetizer & the Ensenada fish tacos which were delicious. My partner seemed to love them too. Definitely recommend the build your own omelette where you can pick your meats, cheese, and veggies and the house potatoes are delicious that it comes with!
