We going the place near Camarillo outlet malls. We sat on the patio very uncomfortable chairs do not wear shorts we order a variety of thing from the menu including their one size fresh squeezed orange juice at 8 bucks a glass. We had coffee and the gave us an extra little pot. Ordered eggs Benedict, crepes and a cinnamon roll French toast combo sausage was way under cooked did not eat it . Crepes were over cooked and had the taste of the grill that had been cooked with so many other things. Waiter did not return to see how our meal was so when he came with the check we did not say anything. Won't be going back check was 77 bucks for breakfast and we have a 20 percent tip . Friendly staff, and attentive but the food, the food is why we have been here for breakfast at least 3 times since we discovered it. Lattes are amazing, as well as beautiful. I had the same thing the first two times (spinach scramble) , and the third time decided to switch it up and had the breakfast tacos. Did not disappoint! Family all love it too. Give it a try! Came here for the first time on Sunday and it was packed. It seemed like everyone was there for the bottomless mimosas. I had the chilaquiles and it was delicious!! My boyfriend has the ribeye steak and steak, asked for medium but got well done. It was still good, so we didn't complain. Great portions and reasonable pricing. The service was good, the servers just seemed exhausted from the brunch rush. Even though it was busy everything came out pretty quick and the service was fast. Where has this place been my entire life, and how did Camarillo get so lucky to have it? My girlfriend and I were looking for a place to have breakfast while she was in town, but everything was so packed. We found this on Yelp, decided to give it a try, and it was the best decision we could've made. We were so grateful that every other place was full, because this place was way better than anything we've ever had in this town. Love Camarillo, love the restaurant choices, but this is hands-down the best. I'm a little hesitant to post this because I don't want it becoming too popular. Wow, what a great find! We love this place--starting with the beverages, great that they give you your own personal carafe of coffee and a very tall glass for their iced tea and fountain drinks. They aren't stingy. The menu gives so many options and so far, the cinnamon roll French toast and the country fried steak.... SOOOO GOOD. Our server, Regi, was attentive and friendly. My boyfriend ordered the lobster eggs Benedict and had the most awful food poisoning with symptoms that lasted for a week straight. He called the restaurant to let them know (not even to complain, he just wanted to alert them!!!) and they were not sympathetic whatsoever, didn't even apologize. The first time we went to this restaurant the food was great! I had the blueberry pancakes. This recent visit was not so good! The crepes were awful and when I let the waitress know, she did offer me something else but since we were all finished eating when she asked, I said no thanks. We should have given us a discount on the meal but they didn't. The waitress agreed with me that the butter was left out of the fridge and tasted bad to her. That is never a good thing! Went shopping at the Camarillo Outlets. Very lucky to have happened upon Loru's Cafe. First time here. Ordered the California Club. It was tasty and so big I was able to split it and was still very satisfied. Bread was perfectly toasted. Fries piping hot. Server automatically placed it on two dishes for us as he heard we wanted to split it. Service was fast, attentive, and friendly. Ambiance was very pleasant. Next time I'm at the Outlets I'm coming back. I know this sounds too good to be true and you think it's a fake review, but it's not. We were very impressed and happy. I really enjoyed Eggs Benedict breakfast, and hubby enjoyed his Huevos Rancheros. We both managed to wipe our platters clean. Service was excellent, super friendly smiles - really nice vibe. We really appreciated the extra carafes of hot coffee so we could top ourselves up. When I was a kid, and growing up, a diner breakfast was not something we had to think hard about before indulging in. Been her a few times before never had an issue. I went on my birthday for breakfast, there was no wait we got sat immediately (it was a Saturday), as soon as we sat the waiter was at the table, got our drink placed and received the drinks was asked if we were ready to order or need more time, we asked for more time, no more than a minute later he's already back asking if we're ready. We felt alittle pressured like we had to order right then and there so we didn't really have much time to look at the menu. Once we got the food it was luke warm, pancakes seem to be under cooked ( very doughy tasting in the middle) didn't even eat, my friend was eating the toast with hers the waiter sees she's working on the the toast and as he goes to take the plate with toast on it he asks can I take the plate she says no I'm still working on it. Why would he start to take plates away with food on it if customers are still eating the food! After a few minutes the waiter comes and says here's your check who's the rich one of the two? What is the suppose to be mean, can someone explain! Never asked if there was anything else we wanted to order or anything! I visited for Mother's Day with three moms in my family and had a lovely time. The food was delicious! They have an excellent selection and even a vegan burger which I ordered and devoured. Our server Xochitl and the staff were all very attentive and even gifted the mothers in our group roses, it was a wonderful gesture. However our food did take an extra length of time to come out while we had no modifications and tables sat after us received food before us. To be honest we didn't notice the extra wait until our server apologized and we realized those around us were nearly finished. Maybe they lost the ticket. Overall it was a pleasant experience and I would come again to experience the ambiance on a day that isn't as bustling as Mother's Day. Ps. The onion rings are bomb!! read more
