Good food. Great proportions. Nice family owned restaurant. Came in from out of town and this really hit the spot.

What a delightful little gem. I had the crunchy taco and chili relleno. It was incredible. I love…read morethe deep fried homemade corn tortilla. It was so hot and crispy and well flavored. My chili relleno was perfection. My friends had the street tacos and said there were also a delight. My favorite part however was the salsa bar. They were also so good and one had a smokey chipotle flavor that was spot on. The person who took our orders was very friendly and our food came out so quickly.

Today's stop was right here in Richfield at Playa Azul TacoShop, where I grabbed lunch before heading out for my ride. And just like every other time I've been here... This place was BUSY! The parking lot was packed with cars and motorcycles. Local businesses were holding lunch meetings, and families were enjoying great Mexican food together. Today's pick: Crispy Chicken Taco with chips and salsa First bite? Hot, fresh, juicy chicken wrapped in a perfectly crispy tortilla. Simple, delicious, and exactly what you want before a long ride. Lee's Local Verdict: Worth stopping in Richfield for? Absolutely! Fast, friendly service, great food, and a full parking lot that tells you everything you need to know. Now I'm curious... What's your favorite Mexican restaurant in Central Utah? And if you stop by, tell them the "Where in Utah is Lee?" guy sent you! #WhereInUtahIsLee #PlayaAzul #RichfieldUtah #MexicanFood #TacoRun #UtahEats #WorthTheRide #LiveToRide #RideToLive #WhereToNext

We went into the bar and restaurant and were greeted by the hostess who asked for out IDs so she could scan them. (They scan everyone's ID, so be sure to have it with you when you go into the establishment. There is a large selection of draft beers. The menu is pretty large with everything from sandwiches to pizza and tacos. We ordered a pepperoni pizza and some carne asada tacos. The tacos were amazing and their pico de gallo was very tasty. The pizza was a good size for the price. This place is great. The food is tasty l, the beer is cold, and the seats are comfortable. Most important of all, the prices are absolutely reasonable for the quality and portion sizes. This is a must visit for my return trip to Richfield.

It is spacious inside with large tables and a friendly, welcoming staff. I had a margarita with my lunch; only one though because I was driving. It wasn't strong but was tasty enough. The beers are mostly domestic with only one micro brew selection but there were plenty of national brand choices. The food was home made and not bad for bar food. I had a Pittsburgh cheese steak sandwich that I thought was good. I ordered it with a side salad instead of fries as I had also ordered the loaded Pastrami fries which came with cheese, pickles and mustard on top. It was a bit too rich and heavy for my taste and the flavors didn't really work well together. Maybe without the mustard I would have liked it more. Not a bad place for a rest stop or a reasonable local hang out as well with some decent food.

DO NOT eat here. A friend and I were in Richfield and we decided to stop somewhere for lunch. We…read moredecided to stop at the Days Inn and try the restaurant that was inside the hotel. My friend and I both walk in and find our seats. After we had set down I looked and counted no more than five other people in the dining hall. Our waitress was promptly at our table. Both my friend and I looked at the menus and placed our order. The waitress took our order and left. The promptness of the waitress was the only good thing that happened during hour lunch break. While waiting for our meal, my friend and I visited to pass the time away. Soon 10 minutes had went by then 15 and then 20. We are still waiting for our meal and have not seen a waitress come by to let us know when our meal will be there or what is going on. Finally after waiting 30 minutes for our meal, a waitress did stop by our table but only to sit down a bottle of ketchup and mustard and to refill our water glasses. A second waitress comes with a tray with our food on it which she put on our table and left. Finally a waitress comes with a tray which contains our meal which she promptly sets on the table and then leaves. I took a glance at my watch, 40 minutes had passed from the time we placed our order to the time that it was brought to us. I had ordered a club sandwich and my friend ordered a burger. The club was not anything big. However, the burger that my friend had ordered, was not even cooked. You could cut open the burger and see that it was still raw inside. A great host for food position and who knows what else. We got the attention of a waitress that came over and saw the condition of the burger. To be totally honest, the waitress really did not seem to be that worried that a raw hamburger was served. The waitress informed us that we did not have to pay for the meal due to the condition of our meal. My friend and I got up and left the restaurant and the Days Inn hotel. If looking for a place to eat, do not stop at the coffee shop inside the Days Inn hotel. If I could, I would give this place a negative 3 stars. Eat in Richfield yes, but DO NOT eat at the coffee shop inside Days inn. Maximus
