This family run restaurant is a no-frills establishment that serves tasty tacos. I have been here once and only had their tacos. They have a good menu and it has a nice variety. The pricing is reasonable. I ordered an Al Pastor, a Carne Asada, and a Nopales tacos. The food was ready in timely fashion. All the tacos tasted good. My favorites were the Nopales and Al Pastor tacos. The salsas were good as well. The salsa rojas was nice, spicy, and flavorful. I received good service on top of good tasting food. From the staff to the food, to the sanitation in the place everything was well done. The food is fresh and savory. It was really good , their food really fills you up. The staff are very friendly and although they do maintain a busy schedule they have great service and are always asking if everything is well. The place is between small and big its a well size eat in restaurant. their horchata is really good. i recommend trying their quesabirrias as to ordering regular tacos. i heard their chiviche is good too. Fairly new restaurant, I've been here a few times. Very clean establishment. Staff is great with explaining any questions you have about the menu. I've ordered the steak burrito and I've also tried the steak taco dinner with Jarritos (orange and lime flavor). Both were great and cooked fresh on order with fresh ingredients. The taco dinner is a little pricey from what I'm use to but it's well worth it. You order at the counter then find a seat. They offer tables and a few seats at the bar. They also offer Breakfast, Tortas, Tostadas, Salads, Fajitas, soups, and other favorite Mexican dishes. Los Altos has their own parking lot so parking won't be a problem. Highly recommend! read more

The service was very pleasant and welcoming. I was very satisfied with the portions served. I tried the birria taco dinner. Instead of the beans side I asked for a double rice. I once said I have found my go to horchata place in the area but it was too good to be true. They must have changed their recipe because now the horchata isn't as great as when I first started coming here. It is sweet and creamy but it has that weird chalky aftertaste. This may be it for awhile for me here. The food is still decent but I was mainly coming for the horchata. Sigh, back to the drawing boards. Passed by this place the other day so came in today to check it out. It has some good reviews on their food and read other reviews about their horchata. Came in and they were very welcoming. Of course had to order their horchata. It was ok. Sweet but there always definitely an after taste which I didn't expect. I ordered the pozole since and I was craving soup and 2 steak tacos. Both were ok too. My friend ordered the Al pastor Gordita and she said it was ok. I give this place a 3.5 star. I might have to try other things to see. read more

Craving some Mexican food and found this place. The restaurant and restroom was clean. The food were delicious and service was great. The lady up front was very hard worker and nice. The last two of my three orders from Los Altos Mexican restaurant have been wrong! I clearly put in the instructions no onions, salsa, pico, guacamole or sour cream in my burrito. Both times, they put in the things I specifically asked them not to. Thank goodness UberEats has good and helpful customer support to issue a refund. read more

Customer service was phenomenal!! They kept making sure we had everything we needed and encouraged structural criticism. The bistec wasn't spicy how I like it but nonetheless flavor was good. The service was fantastic but that's where it stopped being fantastic for me. Ordered the steak burrito and paid extra for rice and beans on the side. Beans were a little on the watery side and not very seasoned while the rice was probably the best seasoned item I ordered. The steak burrito unfortunately was not seasoned very well, very bland and one note. There was a little bit of cheese but the thing that was the biggest problem for me was the addition of lettuce and tomatoes. These things do NOT belong in a burrito and only served to be a gross wilted addition. Where was the guacamole? Where was the sour cream? Where was the cumin? Garlic? Cilantro? Onion, even? It's also not difficult to "seal" a burrito by cooking the seam against a hot pan with a little cheese so that it's not a falling apart mess. I also have a bit of disdain for a Mexican restaurant that doesn't make their own tortillas in house. Maybe their tacos are better, and it felt like these filling would have suited a taco format more appropriately, but my unfinished plate has left a bitter taste in my mouth and I will not be returning. read more
