Literally everything is super fresh and clean. I was awestruck at first. They even look to cut their own potatoes for the fries if you get an item with fries like I did. Review of the items I got: -Asada Fries: was hoping to get something similar to what I'm used to in SoCal. I got mine with Carnitas and no pics de gallo. Generally in SoCal we don't put pico de gallo on ours. Although this did not taste like the SoCal kind(that classic so heavy and rich heart attack flavor), it was still awesome. It had all the otherwise same ingredients, slightly less cheese but a more good quality type of cheese, but still was missing the heart attack flavor. The flavor was still with the same depth, just not heavy/greasy sensation on the stomach and taste buds. I think its because as I noted everything is literally made same day and even the fries they do fresh. The carnitas were also very juicy and overall the portion for everything was very large. I will get this again def. -birria taco: i like that they dont overcharge on these and again the fresh aspect is really good. -flan: better than most I've had. Very smooth and just right amount of sweetness. -Jamaica: Im very excited to say they do make the real Jamaica with the flowers themselves. They do not use the powder a lot of places do. It tasted perfect and not overly sweet so yeah I loved it. One mistake I made was I got so starstruck by the freshness and care of the ingredients that I didnt grab any salsas to try. This is my go to Taqueria when I'm in the North end of Mountain View, Ca. You have multiple food options. My favorite is #2 Burrito. You can choose what meats you want with all the added ingredients. Flavors is very good as well as their many other Mexican dishes. Lots to choose from. You can tell it's top notch by how many Latinos patronize this place. Service is very good but friendliness is not exceptional. I don't mind this at all and really I look forward to the food more. This leads to the next subject, ambiance. There is indoor dining but don't expect a restaurant style experience. More like a sandwich shop table and chairs experience. Still, not bad. Today, I'm in Silicon Valley. I've seen this more than a few times on late Nights. And today is the day, I check-it-out. I'm here at Los Altos Taqueria in Mountain View this Friday evening. I went with the Chile Relleno again, and I had a Large Cup of Fresh Juice, Agua fresca, but this time Tamarindo. This is one of the better Chile Relleno I've had so far. The Batter is delicate, but holds up well, it soaked up all that flavorful, and savory Sauce, the Sauce is more of the consistency that I'm used to. The rice, is Bright. Everything is fresh. And it wasn't greasy at all. I was thinking this was going to be a 3.7/3.8 to 4.3 stars, but I give this 4.2/4.3 stars out of 5 stars. This taste authentic, and like a Fiesta. read more

I would say this has the fastest service I have ever had - I literally paid walked to the table and as I sat down the gentleman walked up and brought me my super burrito. It was fantastic - grilled chicken and a Mexican coke. It was fabulous. This mom and pop really makes my mouth water . They have a huge menu and I am looking forward to trying them all. Got takeout for a friend gathering and was a bit disappointed especially for the higher price. They also charge you extra for credit card so be aware. I got the Carne asada Super Suiza because I saw such great reviews about it. It was supposed to be like a quesadilla burrito but it just tasted like a quesadilla. I'm not sure what the difference is? They also didn't add any hot sauce in the bag so it felt a little bland. Didn't realize I had to ask - they didn't ask and I assumed everything was in because they didn't ask oops. Also chips weren't included - I wish it was especially for a big order. Ordered this on doordash for a midnight unhealthy snack. This price was unbeatable against others on the app so wanted to give it a try. For $10.99 the burrito was huuuuge and had a beautiful cross section when cut. It was pretty tasty too. It had a different flavor profile than other california burritos i've had.. a bit sweet? So i can't say it tasted true to what i know a California burrito to b but it was still pretty good. Tacos here were pretty solid, but the suiza-thingy takes the cake. It's basically a super burrito without the rice. One recommendation is to NOT get the carne asada. I think since it's the most popular, they have a lot of it already cooked so they just take from the pile. It seemed like the other meats they had to cook on the spot so that's why those tasted better. They also gave some chips and salsa along with the order which was nice. The salsa was pretty good. They didn't give me any spicy green or red salsas (didn't realize till I got home), so I have no comment on that. Overall, I'm going to go here again and get the burrito next. read more

I stopped by on October 6th around 5pm and ordered one super burrito and one taco with pollo asado. I also asked for jalapeños on the side. The total came out to $21.00 which is a little high considering this is a taqueria and not a restaurant. When I got home, I opened the bag and realized they never gave me the jalapeños and instead of chicken, they gave me carne asada in both my burrito and taco.
