    So delicious!

This fish was finger licking good! And right in my neighborhood too! The service was quick and the ambiance was chill :) I always like going here for the lengthy menu options they have for whatever I am craving!

Today, I'm in Silicon Valley. I've seen this more than a few times on late Nights. And today is the day, I check-it-out. I'm here at Los Altos Taqueria in Mountain View this Friday evening. I went with the Chile Relleno again, and I had a Large Cup of Fresh Juice, Agua fresca, but this time Tamarindo. This is one of the better Chile Relleno I've had so far. The Batter is delicate, but holds up well, it soaked up all that flavorful, and savory Sauce, the Sauce is more of the consistency that I'm used to. The rice, is Bright. Everything is fresh. And it wasn't greasy at all. I was thinking this was going to be a 3.7/3.8 to 4.3 stars, but I give this 4.2/4.3 stars out of 5 stars. This taste authentic, and like a Fiesta.

Second time here. This time by choice. We had the chicken tamale plate. Very very delicious!

This is my go to Taqueria when I'm in the North end of Mountain View, Ca. You have multiple food options. My favorite is #2 Burrito. You can choose what meats you want with all the added ingredients. Flavors is very good as well as their many other Mexican dishes. Lots to choose from. You can tell it's top notch by how many Latinos patronize this place. Service is very good but friendliness is not exceptional. I don't mind this at all and really I look forward to the food more. This leads to the next subject, ambiance. There is indoor dining but don't expect a restaurant style experience. More like a sandwich shop table and chairs experience. Still, not bad. If you're wanting to impress that special someone, this might be something to go to on a third date.

Been here a few times now and it's always solid. Many options on the menu. This time I had the enchiladas plate which came with 3 enchiladas and you could choose what kind of meet you wanted.

This place is fire. The menu was a bit large, they have tacos, burritos, sea food, but I actually presos chorizo burrito. This place must have a good butcher because the chorizo was flavorful, it didn't cheapen out with too much rice, well balanced burrito. The place is decorated with pictures of San Jose de gracia jalisco , Telemundo or Univisión on a tv and friendly staff, de f yall looking for a place to eat in Mountain View this Mexican Independence Day (9/16 no it isn't May 5) this is your spot !!!!!

I always get nacho cheese fries whenever I can at a taqueria. This one definitely did not disappoint. Super heavy in weight but surprisingly tasted really healthy! Got chorizo as meat but it wasn't greasy at all which was probably better for my health. Would definitely come back after a full day of labor work.

Got takeout for a friend gathering and was a bit disappointed especially for the higher price. They also charge you extra for credit card so be aware. I got the Carne asada Super Suiza because I saw such great reviews about it. It was supposed to be like a quesadilla burrito but it just tasted like a quesadilla. I'm not sure what the difference is? They also didn't add any hot sauce in the bag so it felt a little bland. Didn't realize I had to ask - they didn't ask and I assumed everything was in because they didn't ask oops. Also chips weren't included - I wish it was especially for a big order. The space was pretty big and they had it ready for us but the beauty of a crispy quesadilla was gone probably because it was a takeout order. It was ok but not worth going out of the way for.

Right off the bat, I was so mesmerized by the colorful display they have from left to right inside their restaurant. What we ordered: Shrimp ceviche Enchiladas suizas Carne Asada Plate Pollo Asado Tacos FOOD: 8/10 Their food was flavorful, with hearty portions, and best of all, served piping hot! Chevy's could never! LOL. The shrimp ceviche was fresh; however, we wished it had more of the citrusy juice and was a bit dry. The cubed mangoes were a nice fresh addition to the ceviche. SERVICE: 10/10 The nicest staff to stumble upon. We were helped by 3 different people, and each of them was so kind and attentive. AMBIANCE: 10/10 Their ambiance is everything, whether it is inside or outside. Outside, there is a lot of nice seating to enjoy the weather. I can only imagine how it looks at night with the twinkle lights on. Inside was so beautiful and eye-catching. There was color everywhere, and I truly loved their rainbow-pattern theme, papel-picados and mariposas displayed all throughout the restaurant. The mixed colors and patterns of chairs per table were beautiful. Their bar area looked so cute and fun to be at. They definitely had so many different types of tequila brands displayed, which makes sense, but I thought it was nice. Parking was fine, thankfully, but it was very small. I wonder how it would be at night or when it gets packed. Overall, this is a great place to stop by!

The restaurant is well decorated, feels lively, and is very dark. Maybe a bit too dark - we had to use our flashlight on our phone just to read the menu. We ordered a few items: - Guacamole 3.5/5 , tasted fresh but needs salt. - Ceviche 3/5 , A bit on the sweeter side than we would like - Verde Carne Asada Burrito meal: 4/5, pretty solid actually just wish the portion was a bit bigger for $24 - Steak Fajitas.... 1/5. My mother usually orders fajitas when we go out to eat at mexican restaurant, but we did not see it on the menu, so we asked the server if they had it and he said yes! Now we know why it's probably not on the menu... The meat was SUPER oily, I mean like drenched in oil, if you put a flashlight on the dish, you will quite literally see a puddle of oil at the bottom of the bowl. Second, the meat is very very tough and dry, similar to some meat you would reheat in the microwave after leaving it in the fridge for a few days. This dish is literally unacceptable and the worst part is the fact it costs $29. DO NOT ORDER THIS. Since, this was a dinner for an early mother's day. We did not want to cause any complaint or trouble to the restaurant as it was super packed. We just won't be coming back here anymore. The server himself was friendly, but man did the service suck. We had to flag down someone every time to bring water, chips, and the check. There was no staff check in ever. In fact, they actually lost my credit card and we were waiting around 10- 15 minutes to just get our check back. Everything took forever and the service was super slow. It was a lot of sitting and waiting for each thing. Losing my credit card and having us wait 10-15 minutes to get it back is unacceptable for a professional restaurant that is not on the lower end of things either.
