Love this place for Happy Hour ! I've have been coming here for awhile now . I love their Carne asada fries , I always ask for extra jalapenos too! Its a pretty big serving for happy hour food . The Margaritas are also very good . Their happy hour use to be until 6pm but I think because of the time change it now ends at 7pm (Hooray!) I will continue to bring my coworkers here for food food and drinks! Also they have a AYCE deal for $20 ( all the tacos u want PLUS 1 margarita , beer or soda) not sure if those are select days but we went this past Thursday and it started at 5pm. Cheers to many more !

Jose is a great server! Love him. Parking is limited and mostly available in the street. Taco Tuesday is the best! You get to pick chickens, beef, pork or potato. The service is wonderful and the ambiance is alive. Give this place a try you won't be disappointed.

Came by for lunch today with a couple of friends. We had made a reservation in advance but didn't need to, they had plenty of tables available. They serve chips and salsa right away when you sit down, and they're complimentary - and quite tasty! The chips are really good and crunchy. We all got margaritas, I got a house margarita with a tajin rim. It tastes a little smoky despite them saying it's not made with mezcal so they weren't my favorite marg but they were decent. They have a ton of different marg options on their menu. We ordered guac which was good but it was overpriced for what it is, especially compared to other menu items. Good for sharing though. For my main, I got the ceviche tostada. It's in the appetizer section but it's definitely big enough to be a whole meal. You get two tostadas and they came loaded with ceviche - shrimp and white fish. I enjoyed them and it definitely filled me up but I recommend adding lime and hot sauce.

Sat at the bar and watched the game while eating lunch. Taco Suave was delicious. I would have liked more rice/ beans as they so tasty! The steak was really on point. Al pastor was a little fatty but had great flavor! Tequilas burrito was filled with tons of steak, cooked to perfection! Margarita was delish and all employees were kind and full of smiles!

I get so excited when I finally find a great authentic mexican place! Can't recommend the chili colorado enough. Have to come back here!!

Wonderful dining experience. My husband and I had dinner here because he wanted the Tequila's Special Burrito; tender & tasty shredded beef, topped with a red sauce and cheese. Juan, our server, provided friendly and attentive service. I ordered the shredded beef chimichanga and a delicious blended mango margarita. Everything was so good. We were there before 5pm, it wasn't too busy and the light music in the background made it very enjoyable. In addition, Juan's attention to detail made it a great visit! I recommend you stop by and enjoy a nice meal at this friendly restaurant.

This was my first visit to Tequilas and I came on a Thursday when they were offering all you could eat tacos & a beer for $20, what a deal! We sat in the bar area which was a little crowded but only because it was small, but this is also lent to a very cozy vibe. Most of the people were sitting in the tent out back where it was a lively and festive atmosphere. The taco table was also in the back with four kinds of meat being cooked continuously to stay fresh. Really enjoyed the atmosphere here and our bartender provided excellent service. Can't beat this Thursday taco deal, and I understand they have a similar one on Tuesday, I will be coming back!

Taco Tuesday is what we like. Two dollar tacos are a great deal. Steak, chicken and even potato tacos are the bomb. O and the chips and salsa washed down with your choice of beer, margarita, or good old Burbank H2O while enjoying the ambiance is fun. The service is always spot on!

Stopped by here after someone recommended it to me. We were seated immediately. The outside patio had a beautiful setup. Loved the dia de Los muertos decorations. We ordered a few different things, my favorite was the steak quesadilla. Overall a positive experience with good food. I think they have some toys in the patio for kids to play with.

3 stars for good food and good service but no more than that. Came in for $2 tacos that are advertised in the menu. Got our bill and was charged $3 for tacos. When ask about the price, our waitress said that the tacos are $3 because the manager never changed the price. Good bye Tequilas.

We had our rotary meeting here and its my first time and im surprised that its good and i admire mexican food more than ever because of this place. The staffs were nice and service was good. I cannot stop even eating their homemade nachos that they serve while waiting.

We had a great time at Tequilas Burbank. Service was very good, food and drinks could be better, -1 for that reason.

The server who had a terrible and rude attitude when asked why the molcajete came in a tin foil dish inside the rock.

The rather hidden front door (the restaurant has no signage--so it's a secret--known by those in-the-know (and now you). The bar is dark and charming--feels like an English country home. That leads into a beautifully lit library bar lounge. The indoor/outdoor dining room is gorgeous: evoking a classic European courtyard. The open-air courtyard is surrounded by arched seating areas, each with curtains you can close for privacy. We arrived at 7:30 with the sunset's warm light entering through the open ceiling. As the sky got darker, the room took on a glow from the string lights, candles in niches, and central fireplace. The waiter was charming and friendly, and brought complimentary aperitifs of Luca Bosio Brachetto Rosso Semi Sweet wine. My friends who drink wine loved it and are ordering bottles for home. I don't like wine myself--but I still loved this because it was like a most delicious sweet lightly fizzy grape juice. We shared a cheese board which had a variety of fine cheeses and sweet grapes, honeycomb, dates, dried apricots and almonds. My friends shared the Mushroom Pappardelle--a rich, creamy mushroom sauce on wide delicate noodles. Excellent. I ordered the Steak Frites, 8 oz filet mignon, green beans, creamy peppercorn sauce, and garlic fries. *This was one of the best steaks I've ever eaten* --and my friends agreed. So tender I hardly needed a knife. And the sauce was savory perfection. Even the fries were delicate, crispy outside. The portions are large--I took about 1/3 of my steak and frites home, and my friends took enough pasta home for another meal. Since it was a special occasion, we ordered the Le Petit Gateau, a dark, rich, moist chocolate cake with golden candied wild cherries. So chocolatey, not too sweet--the hint of cherries made it very special. We each had at least one piece (OK, I had two) and there was still half a cake to take home! Firefly is truly special. But not just for special occasions--because once you've discovered it you'll want to eat there again soon.

There's a deliberate sense of discovery to it that gives the place character. The main issue is access. Parking is limited and inconvenient. It feels designed more for rideshare drop-off or a bar-centric crowd than for people arriving on their own to sit down for dinner. If you're coming with friends for a relaxed meal, you should assume you'll either be circling for a spot or paying for valet. The food and drinks are fine, but not the reason to come. Prices sit noticeably above what the execution justifies, especially when compared to similar spots in the area. It's not bad, just not aligned with value. What Firefly does well is atmosphere. The lighting, layout, and hidden-garden concept create a mood that carries most of the experience. You don't come here chasing culinary excellence. You come because the space feels different from everything around it. It delivers on that promise. Just not much beyond it.

On top of that, the STAFF - the folks we met on a Monday (senior citizen hour) night were incredibly kind and attentive. A nice surprise, considering this is a music joint! That bread was solid. The side portions decent - mushrooms and broccoli were fine. The steak was a generous size, cooked appropriately medium rare, and came with a unique side of bone marrow salsa. That was a nice, interesting touch. Was it the BEST food I've ever had? It takes place mostly in their rear patio area and parking lot, but a good number of vendors were also in an adjacent air conditioned event room. They have a very small parking lot, but it was occupied by vendors during this event. Do not park in the parking lots of the adjacent businesses, as we were warned when entering the Tonga Hut that cars get towed regularly. There's plenty of street parking in the nearby neighborhood. Entering from the rear, there is a good sized covered patio with around eight benches. We went inside to check it out and grab a drink. The interior is fairly small with four good sized booths, a lounge area with a large J-shaped couch with several small tables, and around ten seats at the bar. It is dimly lit with some basic tiki décor, and has an old-school feel. They had a fixed cocktail menu for this event which is understandable. We stood in line at the bar for about ten minutes, got our drinks and went out to the patio. The bartender was friendly, and didn't seem flustered by the high volume of patrons. I had the Horned Beast O' The Celtic Sea (Oceanus Hibernicus Irish Malt, Jamacian Rum, House Made Falernum & Orgeat, Peach, Citrus, Dash of Cherry Heering, $13). She had the Leprechaun Grog (Three Rums, Lime, Grapefruit, Honey, Spice, Soda, $14). Both drinks were good, were served in souvenir plastic cups, and were a bargain at $13 to $14. If you ordered a drink containing Oceanus whiskey, the bartender gave you a gold coin and you could exchange it with the Oceanus representative on the patio for a free T-shirt. Durango Tacos was setup near the rear entrance for food. We had four tacos (two carne asada and two veggie), and they were good and reasonably priced. This was the first tiki marketplace we have attended. There were around twenty vendors with a good assortment of art work, tiki mugs, tiki clothing, tiki décor, and other miscellaneous items. I purchased a few nice tiki shirts which were a steal at $20 and $25. The vendors and visitors were all very friendly and in a festive mood. We hung out for about ninety minutes and had a good time. We will return at some point to try their regular cocktail menu and see what it's like on a non-event night.

I would come back, but need some time for my wallet to recover first, haha!

Ya'll, this here is a gem! You go in and there's none of that pretentious bs. Don't got to worry…read moreabout others judging you. There's an entire wall of board games for you to choose from. We played about 3 or 4 games? And each one had all the pieces, amazingly! This just goes to show you that the people that visit this establishment respect and care for the games, which is a reflection on the clientele itself. And of course, you're welcome to bring your own game as well. We got there a bit after opening so we were able to get one of the multi seater tables. When we left at 3PM, the place was packed! The bar seats were all taken and the outside seating was pretty filled too. So be sure to get here early if you're looking for a table. Got an order of the chicken tenders and sweet potato tots. The chicken tenders was alright. But the sweet potato tots were delicious! We also ordered drinks. The food didn't take long and the staff was friendly. Parking is strictly street parking. So don't go parking at the KFC lot next door. Honestly, this place is great! Check it out if you're looking for a spot to chill and hang out! Good people and good vibes all around!
