Took in my 2018 Mustang GT to get an Alignment dialed in! Loved their customer service Rafael in the front and all of the crew were amazing. Really good vibes all around the shop. They showed me all the work that was done step by step. They took me out to the back where the car was on their lift as well they went ahead and checked my springs for me cause I had voiced some concerns in the front. Where do I start I made a appointment Thursday at 2:15 for Friday at 9:30 I wanted a full inspection because we were given the car. Friday I brought the car at 9:15 left it, then it hits 11 am no call as far as a update. Two hours of dropping it off I called Los Amigos tires spoke with John he informed me that front and back breaks needed doing, transmission fluid flush, oil change, two tires . Was told the car would be ready by 3 pm. I do appreciate that they allowed me to use the company vehicle for my errands. 3pm comes and no call then 4 pm comes no call we then take the initiative again to call and to be told it would be ready by 5pm . We get to Los Amigos to pick our car up and only for me to ask if they checked the ignition light that was on, well guess what NO they did not . I am not a mechanic but I have been to many auto shops and always have they checked the ignition light. I was shocked. But I was okay with leaving the car over night to have the light checked first thing in the morning at 9 am as told, we arrived at 9:15 am and was told the sensors needed replacement and that it was a quick fix. I said ok to replace well guess what it is now 11:30 and to find out it is going to take another hour. At this point i am frustrated this car has been here for a day and a half and all The young lady could say was im sorry, no offer of a discount nothing. After this visit were done we will need to go elsewhere, their communication, efficiency on vehicles, and customer service needs improvement. People save your time and headaches and go else where Update: we come to pick the car up and the prior cost was 900.00 yesterday for break drums and pads, oil change, two tires, transmission flush. Then their were 2 sensors that was bad and they are telling us it is 400.00 more for those and labor. O and 89.00 for synthetic oil change. Are they serious, i am beyond furious now 1350 that we have to pay they ripped us off, and charged labor for their mechanics to take their suite ass time. read more

Manteca, CA for an oil change should have been $40. was $70. Well, if you are looking for an auto shop keep looking. I went in for a simple oil change for my Honda CRV, told them to put in manufacturers spec. oil as shown on oil cap. I previously worked at a Honda dealer I know Honda never put in synthetic. Should have been what is on the cap 5/20 reg. oil was charged for 0/20 synthetic. I guess they thought I would be an easy target, they thought wrong. Shame on them for taking advantage of me. I can only wonder how they may have swindled other trusting customers. read more

While heading out of town for vacation, the low tire gauge came on. Our car was packed full and the idea of having to unload the car to get to the spare was not an option we wanted to pursue. Well just now leaving from getting an alignment on my car... I was told it would be done by 1:30 it is now 503! I drop my car off at 12 she said it would be an hour and a half wait I told her I would come back and pick it up I called at 3:50 when I got off work and she told me they hadn't even started on my car, gave me a every excuse under the sun, but that it was going up on the rack right as we spoke and would take an additional 45 minutes... I arrive at the location 45 minutes later and see my car sitting outside so I assumed the job was complete... Walk inside and was told that they still hadn't started my car because yet again of every excuse in the book (besides their fault) and that they would get started on it right then! I watch my car sit there for another good 10 minutes after I expressed all of my frustrations and about 15 minutes later MY CAR WAS DONE! and can now finally head home! Boy, unless you have time for your car to sit there overnight and don't mind being lied to multiple times don't waste your time!!!! oh aaaand.. to top it off after I left I realized my car was no better than when I took it in there so now I am in the process of requesting a refund through my bank... hopefully this wont be as difficult as dealing with this tire shop!!! read more

Called around for some new tires and many of my answers at the time consisted of the Price being over $600 or not even having my size tire at all. Called Los Amigos Tires and got a quote for $390 for the same 4 tires that another shop was gonna charge me over $600 for. took about an hour in the morning to get all 4 on and i didn't mind, the waiting room had coffee and a TV going and kept me busy. on the customer service side they seemed pretty friendly and with a free tire rotation AND balance every 5k miles?! read more

Oh this is gonna be good so let me apologize now for the long post. Ok let me start. So i go in today to give them another chance because they are one of the only tire shops in Manteca. I go in to have them take my tires off my rims so I can get them painted. I tell them that I just need the tires taken off that's it. He quotes me 60 to take the tires off but we negotiated to 40 so it wasn't a bad deal. I forgot the guys name but he is the younger Mexican guy that works in the office. I tell him they are 20 inch staggered rims and I also need new tires when they are done getting painted. He give me a fairly decent price for tires and we proceed to go out and get the wheels out of my car. As soon as I open the trunk to get the wheels out he sees that I have forgiato rims and tells me to my face "oh I feel played if I knew they were forgiatos I would have charged you more" he also proceeds to tell me I need to hook it up with a tip. My first thought was wtf who tells there customer that. So I leave the wheels and he tells me come back in a hour. I leave and come back in a hour to only 1 tire being off and I'm still waiting on 3 others. He comes out and tells me if I can park to the side they are working on the wheels now it won't be long. I sit outside for about 45 mins and still nothing. As I sit I notice they have changed 3 cars tires and installed them while I have been waiting for my tires to just be taken off the rim that's all. I see him come out the office and ask him how much longer because now it's been over 2 hours. He tells me we are busy today. It was now 230 I ask him will you have them done in 30 mins because I have a dr appointment at 330. He tell me no they won't be done. Smh I tell him it's takes 3 hours to take tires off rims. When I said that he got upset and tells me you can take your 40 dollars and your rims and go somewhere else. He bring my rims out with only 1 tire off in 2 and a half hours and doesn't hand me my money back just sits in on the back of my truck. When I tell you this place is a complete joke I mean it. I took my wheels to tire and wheel outlet in Stockton he charged me 20 dollars and had the tires off in less then 15 mins. How los amigos is still open I have no clue. I will be calling the BBB making a repost. They are rude they are over priced and they will rip you off depending on brand lol he told me to my face. I work near manteca so called many shops for a quote on remounting and balancing one of my tires because I recently got in an accident where I swerved off the road from loose gravel and knocked the tire bead off my rim. A lot of other places wanted 20, but this place wanted 12.50 only. Thought i'd check it out and on my way to the bank, it was just the street ahead and convenient to the freeway. Great parking, clean store, great customer service. I was charged exactly 12.50 I was quoted for on the phone. Almost an hr later I was out, but I believe they were busy. Rude, rude, rude. Called ahead to ask if they were able to fix something, get there and the guy who does that particular thing, left. It would have been nice to know ahead of time, that they weren't able to fix it today, when we said we were coming in. All this was said to us, with a mouth full of food, wide open. Unbelievable. I called around to all the local tire shops in Manteca and Los Amigos had the best price. They looked up my tires with my year make and model and explained which was the best bang for my buck. The customer service was phenomenal! I spoke with john over the phone and the young lady in the front office was very personable and helpful. Everything was done very fast and I'm super happy with my tires! They give you free rotation every 5000 miles and paparwork to track it! BEWARE !! I ordered a set of tires and wheels from them for my truck by (year make model) they do this daily......well I show to have them installed.....about a hour goes by and I walk out to see what's taking so long I find the mechanic installing wheel spaces on the front hubs. so I ask why and his answer was the wheel centers on the new wheels were to small to fit property so the manager decided to install the spacers to make them fit and complete the sale NOW is when I get mad ..I ask the manager why he was doing this instead of stopping and telling me they were wrong wheels his response was well I never checked the center hole when I ordered them so HE decided to install spacers without telling me ... now the problem with spacers is all the load is on the wheel studs and not on the center hole DANGEROUS DECISION ON HIS PART so now the good news ....I got a full refund and I went to America's tire and purchased wheels and tires that FIT so please BEWARE YOUR SAFETY IS AT STAKE read more

I wouldn't trust these guys. Not only are they slow as others have mentioned, but they suggested a camber kit for my car after alignment which they quoted me $284.68 for parts and labor. I went into the shop saying my car pulled to the right side. They said my front passenger camber was .7 degrees out on the passenger side and they couldn't adjust it any further. I paid my bill but I had a odd feeling about them, so I went to Radial Tire in Elk Grove (who I trust). They told me my alignment was almost perfect and rotated my front tires. The vehicle then pulled to the left because the problem was I had a bad tire. I bought tires from Los Amigos before. This time I needed a flat tire fixed on a Friday afternoon. Was so happy that they could fix it since I was traveling on the weekend. They had it "done" quickly and took my money, but my low tire light wouldn't go out. When I checked the tire pressure, the tire was still low. I pumped it up myself, since I needed to get on the road and just assumed they had forgot to inflate it after the "repair." Later the tire low light came back on, so I did a closer inspection. Guess what I found. The huge nail that had caused the original problem was still there, bright and shiny and as obvious as it had been originally. I returned to Los Amigos to complain and get it fixed. They acted very nonchalant about the whole issue. No apology, no explanation. When I asked what happened, they said they didn't know and just shrugged their shoulders. Mistakes can happen, but the measure of a business is how they respond and treat their customers. I could have forgiven them had they offered an apology, but to act like nothing of consequence was totally unacceptable. I am adding the photo to show how obvious this nail was. read more

I purchased four tires, wheels, and chrom lugs for a VW I am restoring. The tires were in stock but the wheels and lugs had to be ordered. The wheels came in within a resonable time and they were mounted and balanced. But the lugs, I had to call four times and I findly showed up, only to have the lady say to me, "Oh my note is still here on the bulletin board, they're suppose to check it". After two months of waiting I went in and the over fed individual at the front desk hands me a box of bolts and nuts, he says this should work. Never mind that I paid and expected chrome lugs. The other problem is that I had to use my original lugs and its a possibility that they may be too short for my new wheels so I have to get an expert to check this out. Another thing the receipt this business gave me did not list the price of the individual items I purchased, I'll have to contact the Department of Automotive Repair and see if this is legal. I would not recommend this business, their customer service and attitude is not good, actually it stinks. read more

So I payed for a service went in one time they didn't do it. I went in again and they didn't do it, so then I go in a third time they tell me 2 hours which seemed ridiculous to me but okay. I waited two hours then went to ask them if it was done the guy yelled at me that 5 more minutes. Then he came by with my car I asked him did you do the alignment? Which I payed for several weeks before and he was like no it'll be one more hour so I told him to do it. Okay one more hour. He was in a bad mood because I told him to do the service I payed for? I went in before they told me they did it and they did not. Now he's mad because I waited two hours and he didn't do it? Needless to say it was not expensive I got tires and rims and my breaks done and this time I just went in for rims and the alignment which I had to force them to do. 3 hours later I ask and they're mad at me it was ridiculous after 4 hours they're done and they mug me as I leave. i bought a set of brand new coker tires from los amigos for around 600 dollars and immediatly noticed small air bubble on the whitewall im not a really picky guy so i overlooked it since it was litterally the size of a ball point pen. no more then a few weeks later i noticed that the tire had an air bubble the size of a golf ball. at this time i did not contact john at los amigos because the battery was dead (being that this is a classic car that i do not drive daily) i wanted to show him in person to see the reaction he would have because by this time the bubble was litterally the size of an orange. when looking at the tire john said he would have to send a picture of the tire to coker tires so that he could get me a new one . i waited for two weeks untill i called them again. just for them to tell me they couldnt find the invoice for my purchase to send to coker tires i told john that i wasnt happy with how hes handling business and it was unacceptable to me. so john said he would just order me a new tire untill they could figure things out on there end and that they would call me when it came it. so today they called and said my tire was there and ready to be mounted. as soon as i got there they told me that i would have to pay for the tire once again!and if the tire proves to be defective after sent back to coker then they would give me my money back . los amigos needs to give me a new tire for the money i already gave them!!!!!! read more
