We drove by here for months and finally stopped by Friday night. The food was really good! We had the taquerias enchiladas with chicken and combination meal with a beef burrito and beef taco. Ok, so here is this little restaurant in a little strip mall shopping center, and my inlaws went here and told my wife and I that it was good. What an understatement. This is by far, hands down, the best Mexican Restaurant in town. I like Cebollas, I like Don Chavez, I like Casa Grande, I like Dos Margarita's, all good Mexican food. But this place is by far, bar none, heads above them all. The salsa and chips sets the tone right out of the gate, best salsa I have ever tasted, not hot, but good and spicy. From the Burrito De La Casa that I ordered to the various dishes my wife has tried here, they now have all of our business when we want Mexican food. The owner and staff remember us from the first time we came here and knew what drink we wanted when sat down. And dont forget the Queso. Good stuff. I fully recommend this to any of you who havent tried it. Fantastic. And I read Lex review, and I have eaten here way over 10 times, and that has never once happened to me. I lived in Chula Vista California for five years and this place reminds me of a little mom and pop restraint their good simple food. I judge most Mexican restraunts by how good their refried beans are. If you can't cook beans, then nothing else is going to be good. Los Cabos didn't disappoint the beans were the texture and I could taste the pork fat in them, that's right pork fat beans are seasoned with pork fat and should be able to taste it. read more

Had lunch here today, it was great. Chips and salsa were brought to the table before we sat down. I had one of the specials, chicken enchiladas that had grilled vegetables cooked in a sauce inside, so good. The prices were great too, under $25 for 2. Service was outstanding. read more

Dont listen to the one guy who says its bland. I don't get how this place received all these stars. It is mediocre at best. Menudo was the worst ever and I have eaten a lot of menudo. The tripe was so overcooked it was practically mush and the smell was so bad I couldn't eat it . The server was took it back but still charged it, didn't ask if I wanted something else or ANYTHING. It's obvious customer satisfaction isn't a priority with them. Asked if they had spicier salsa and they did not. He said they had had a spicier tomatillo sauce but it was extra. Service is bare minimum. Bring drink, bring food, bring check. Hmmmmm I think giving them 2stars is being generous. read more

The dining room is open until 930pm as stated on the door and online. We arrived at 815pm after AAU basketball games with a party of 7. The restaurant was open and had multiple open tables. We waited to be seated. After several conversations by 2 employees they decided that they were closed. I asked when they closed they said 8. I asked where that was stated, since no where in the restaurant showed new hours. They said online but online said they were open until 930pm just like in this app. They have now lost our business along with several others. I have no issue with hours changing. I have issue with the fact we were there. People eating. No sign saying closed and being turned away after conversation was had to decide to tell us they were closed. We came here Mother's Day. The food was so good, we were pleasantly surprised. Today we came back and even though it was 3:30 in the afternoon the food was excellent. And once again we were pleased and stuffed when we left. Their hot sauce is the best in Fort Wayne. The only reason this a 4 and not a five is that the location is hard to get into and the view into the kitchen does not add to the ambience.
