I've never seen this place before but swore I've heard the name somewhere. I was starving and craving something delicious and saw some decent reviews here. I drove up and it doesn't look like much on the outside. So I was a bit concerned maybe I was tricked lol. Went inside though and its pretty decent looking, all tables and no booths but it was nice and cool inside. When I arrived not many were there. The staff immediately greeted me as I came in. My waitress, I believe Mari greeted me in spanish ...which for me is a good sign because its probably more authentic. They had a lot of mexican dancing songs playing but it wasn't blasted too loud. I placed an order for horchata (I wouldn't reccomend it though) Maybe I caught it too late because it tasted really watered down. Immediately after serving my drinks they brought complimentary chips and salsa. It was set up beautifully and super yummy! They even brought a little thing of fish ceviche with limes. I ordered the red snapper fried, its honestly pretty pricey but it does say market price on the menu and she was able to give me the price before ordering. They also have cheaper fish available if you don't want to choose the expensive amount, for example like tilapia. You get a few choices to pick from for your meal. French fries, mashed potatoes, steamed vegetables, or salad. I went with the mashed potatoes and salad. It also came with complimentary soup with my meal either clam chowder or fish soup. I went with the fish soup...the broth had okay flavor but there was literally no fish in my bowl LOL it had like two carrots, the broth, possibly celery. Just no fish to be found! Guess I can't complain since it was free, but I'd probably try something else next time. Also with the fried fish you get options on coating it with garlic or making it super spicy! Never had that option before, was pretty cool. The fish arrived as I was stuffing my face with the chips, salsa, and ceviche. It was beautifully plated omg. I had to take pictures! It all tasted great too, salad was fresh, the potatoes and rice were delicious! I'd definitely come back. I also ordered some aguachiles to go but haven't tried it yet but my waitress offered to pack more ceviche and salsa too! super awesome! Overall, I'd definitely come back again. The fish was honestly cooked perfectly and seasoned well! It reminds me a lot of Los Colegas but way calmer environment and the food was honestly way better in my opinion. I am originally from El Paso TX I always brag on there food but we were in the mood for sea food and ended up at this restaurant and it's the WORST food I had ever tried my husband ordered steak and shrimp it was horrible he sent it back and brought it back same way it was cold and the shrimp were chewy,I ordered the Tore for 25dlls said it was fresh sea food it looked like tuna out of a can . The total was 175.00 for us to leave hungry we should of gone to Villa Del Mar but lesson learned will never go back read more

I've been here a few times the first time it was pretty good. The second they forgot an order and the third time I ordered a seafood cocktail with everything in it (and they charged me for it!) and it was ALL tomato juice!!!! It had one broken up oyster maybe 4-5 shrimp and one cluster of octopus. I'm disappointed and tired of going back so they can fix their mistakes. read more

This place has very friendly staff and a nice cozy atmosphere with good music. I ordered a shrimp & octopus cocktail and the fish ceviche to go. The cocktail was big for the price and very meaty but a little on the sweet side. The ceviche was a lot more than 3 tostadas worth and good but could have been more flavorful. Everything could have been fixed with a little more lime but I blame myself. I should have asked for extra lime because seriously....what kind of a Mexican doesn't have lime at home!?!? LOL I'm pretty sure that if I had lime at home or dined in I would have given them 5 stars cause I would have asked for more lime. With all that said, I would eat here again. read more

Please save your money and time and don't visit this establishment. Food is not fresh, service is ok. We visited this restaurant on Sunday and I asked if the oysters were fresh, the waitress said yes. When they arrived they looked strange and they were not attached to the clam (I live in Florida and I eat lots of oysters) once I tried one I knew they were not fresher. They tasted rubberish. My dad had also order a salmon and after cutting it it was not fully cooked. It was raw on the inside. After telling the waitress she agreed the the salmon was not fully cooked. They discounted a few dollars from salmon and took oysters off. Bill was still 45 dollars for a meal for 3 and food quality was poor. read more

We got excited to find a place that had a whole snapper. But was disappointed that it was fried so much that it was dry. The marlin tacos were a disgrace to the noble fish. Why would you chop up the fish into little pieces and make it look like tuna from a can? I have eaten a LOT of marlin and never have I not questioned whether I was eating marlin or not. Well maybe if it was marlin or swordfish. So been there done that. Won't be back. Still need to find someplace that knows how to cook fish in EP. read more

Went here for dinner with friends, first time for us. Service was great and food was amazing. The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere, tonight was karaoke night and was told that they have live music every Friday night. I order the fish tacos, and they were the best fish tacos I ever had. I definitely will be going back for the music and food. read more

Great little store front Mexican restaurant. Satisfactory chips w/ multiple tasty sauces including a nice fish ceviche. Huge dinner shrimp cocktail. CA marines Diablo was the best dish of the night. My grilled seafood in rice w/ Normandy vegetables was very good. Seafood Alfredo had a little too much sauce but otherwise tremendous. Camarone Poblana also good & tasty. Most dishes had sides of really good rice & beans. My grill had mashed potatoes, an El Paso thing. Mexican beer. Iced Teas. We had no desserts. read more
