I came here on a Friday night. While the food is good and the employees do a good job with their service, they looked overwhelmed by the work load. There were only 2 people in the kitchen and they needed support from one of the persons at the counter/register. There was a lot of people waiting, even outside. While this is a good problem, management or the owner needs to hire more kitchen help so that the orders are taken care of faster and not so crowded with the number of people standing/sitting around waiting for their orders. Please hire more kitchen help especially for the busier weekend days, Friday, Saturdays, and sundays. For this reason they only get 3 stars from me. read more

What a great find! The burritos are HUGE -- about as long as my forearm, but only about half the width . They're definitely filling! I got the chicken burrito with rice and beans, and the flavor was great with just the right amount of spice. The stuffed pepper with shrimp was also SO GOOD! My husband kept seeing reels of this place and wanted to try them, so we stopped in for lunch today. Parking lot is tiny and difficult to maneuver in. The restaurant has about 10 tables, only one available when we arrived. It was very warm in there, i'm glad the food was ready fast so we could leave and get back in our air conditioned car. I had the Chile Rellano & Shrimp burrito, he had the Carne En Su Jugo burrito. My shrimp were cooked well and were plump and fresh, but the burrito itself was very bland. I had to dip each bite in salsa for it to have flavor. The red salsa was spicy but I didn't care for the flavor, the green was much better, but still wasn't full of flavor. Do they not have any salt in the kitchen? Husband's burrito was very smoky from the bacon, I had two bites of it and would not have wanted more, it was so mushy. He didn't like that it was more beans than meat. We were both full after one burrito, so at least that was good. Lets start by saying, this place does NOT serve traditional/typical burritos. You wont find a full menu, not very customizable, and I am here for it. These are legit mexican style burritos you find in northern mexico. No california burritos with fries and guac. Think of these like "Guisado Burritos", stuffed with stews and pre-made flavors not individual protein. I do find the size and pricing off, they have a special of 3 burritos and a can soda for $20, good deal but overkill for me. Did not finish the burritos, like not even close. Pro-Tip: If its your first time coming, avoid getting the birria burrito. I legit think restaurants get FOMO and just throw items on the menu for trends sake. My order was Deshebrada(shredded beef), chile colorado(beef & potato stew), and picadillo(ground beef & potatoes). Solid choices, for sure getting the chicharron next time, maybe the pollo en chipotle. We finally made it to this place with the long skinny burritos that everyone was raving about on instagram and TikTok. We were very excited to try it and were not disappointed at all. It is a smaller restaurant with some tables and can get fairly busy. We made it there around 11:15 in the morning and were helped right away. I was not able to finish both burritos in one sitting and brought half of one home while my son was no quitter and gladly finished both of his. Small taqueria located in a strip mall in Anaheim. They specialize in Juarez style burritos - they're long and slender. As a person not of the culture, I would describe them as something between burritos or larger flour tortilla flautas. The fillings in the burritos tend to be more stew like. They are grilled or pressed - not unlike a panini style sandwich. I came in on a Saturday evening and I was able to order pretty much right away. It was on the slightly later side so maybe that was the reason the place wasn't super crowded. I ended getting a two burrito combo which came with a can of soda. I ordered the chile relleno and picadillo. Picadillo seems to be really popular in Tex-Mex as I've seen that on the menu of many other places that specialize in Tex-Mex, which isn't surprising since Juarez is close to the border near El Paso. I like burritos of all kinds, but I like the hearty and flavorful fillings of this type unencumbered by rice and beans for more concentrated flavor. The grilling or pressing of the exterior adds more texture for each bite. I'm just going to rate this place high because the people here are pleasant, the food was good to great, the prices very reasonable, and the experience was convenient and easy to go in and grab a quick meal and be on your way. The original Los de Juárez location has a decent amount of indoor seating as well as limited outdoor tables. The walls are decorated with the story of how the business got started. It's a great story of their beginnings. Orders are placed at the counter and are brought to your table. There's only one register, so the line gets long during peak hours, but it still runs smoothly. The main menu features lunch items, but they've recently started offering breakfast burritos (featuring eggs) that are while-supplies-last and options are displayed on a digital menu board by the register. I must admit, looking at the photos of their burritos on line had me thinking they would be dinky little rolls. I was so wrong!! Those bad boys have some weight to them!! They're made on the biggest tortillas possible (I think they're homemade?) and they're FILLED with so much yummy, authentic goodness!!! My personal favorites are the original chile relleno and the relleno con camarones. ¡Deliciosos! The salsas are also very good, the green being my fave. Tucked away in a small strip mall with VERY limited parking is Los De Juarez. Came in on a Tuesday during lunch, and it was pretty quiet. However, as I ate SOME of my burritos, it started to pick up, especially for to-go. The best option is obviously the $25 for 3 Burritos and a canned Soda. Two big unfortunates here are that the Sodas are canned, and there is no fountain. Secondly, their best burrito is not an option for the combo. I do hope in the future they would offer that option with a price adjustment (ie: +$2-3.) That best burrito? The Shrimp in Chile Relleno. While they do offer the Chile Relleno w/o shrimp as part of the combo, it would be nice to have, especially as your "top" burrito. I did get the Chile Relleno, Chicharron, and Carne en su Jugo. I'd rank them as listed. They all had decent flavor, but I wouldn't get the carne en su jugo again. As some have stated, it lacked a bit of flavor. However, the other two more than made up for it. I would definitely get those two again. The two salsa's were pretty good too, Rojo and Verde. Portions, as everyone has stated, pictures are very deceiving. These are HUGE. We ordered the shrimp and chile relleno, chile Colorado and birria. Before taking the first bite of the chile Colorado, I noticed it had a funky smell to it, almost like it had some cotija cheese in it. I had just bought the food, so I made the mistake to assume that it was some sort of cheese they add to them. I took a couple bites and couldn't get past the smell so I put it away. Went there on July 29, and unfortunately the service was very slow. They used to have a great special--three burritos and a can of soda for $20--which made sense because their burritos are long but pretty skinny. Now that same deal has changed to just two burritos and one can of soda for $22. I was also going to order a 16-ounce Jamaica, but it was $6. I honestly don't understand how Jamaica can cost $6 when it's basically water, sugar, and dried hibiscus flowers. The burritos are still good, but they've become too expensive for what you get. I read an article about this place, offering something new in the way of burritos. I stopped in today, with my mind on a chile relleno burrito. The place doesn't have that many tables inside, but what was there at noon filled the place up. Good sign. I ordered at the counter and waited about 10 minutes for my burrito. The cashier gave me both the red and green sauces, and offered a serrano. No thank you to the serrano. The burritos run in the seven eight dollar range. Domestic sodas two bucks. I got into the burrito with anticipatory curiosity. Not surprisingly, it tasted like a chile relleno burrito. A skinny one. My favorite thing about a good chile relleno is how they prepare the sauce that goes with it. That was missing here. The salsas did not make up for that, so overall it was a bit of a disappointment, but not one that I wasn't prepared for. It was just okay. Of note is that, although the fillings are skinny (just not much in there), the tortilla is full sized, wrapped around it a few times. The outside was grilled so it had the nice crispy brown spots, but the rest of the tortilla inside was a bit gummy in texture. The red sauce wasn't bad. I kind of liked it, similar to other table salsas that come across as authentic. The green tasted strongly of oregano. That was off putting, and I quickly gave up on that.
