Visited this restaurant for the first time ever 2 days ago. Lived in Hesperia all my life and never went so I was pretty excited. I hate writing bad reviews. All I ordered was a carne asada taco. Pretty standard and it was all good until I get to my last bite. I look down and I see a hair sticking out from between the meat. I pull out a long black hair from my taco and set it aside on my plate. They brought me another one but by then my appetite was pretty much gone. The worst part though was that I was still charged for it. I don't know but I thought it was kind of assumed I wouldn't have to pay based on principle. Lesson learned: should have YELPED first. I don't have time to negatively yelp! So heed my advise: Please don't make my mistake in eating here! Being new to the area and eager to find our new regular Sunday after church eatery, we chose a place close to home. Feeling rushed and pressured by our waiter to order, we ordered the buffet as he was convincing it was the best; "children are only $8.95". However, when the bill arrived it was over $108.00 not including tip. Unfortunately, for us if your child isn't 5, 6 or 7yrs old, you're an adult. This not an upscale restaurant, their food was so greasy and blan, I chose to have menudo instead. My husband and kids couldn't stomach it either and ate jello and churros; paid $15 a head for garbage. When I asked the waiter, he had a prude attitude so I spoke to the manager who said "well I guess you won't be returning" without any further effort. Wow, this place should be out of business for their attitudes alone. I don't mind paying top dollar for great food and customer service. You get neither here! read more

Kind of disappointed to see other bad reviews. I've been going to Domingos for about 10-15 years. The staff know me and my family. The service is always good, can sometimes get busy, but we always wait. The orders always come out hot and as ordered, I don't think we've ever sent food back or had complaints. The drinks are strong, and they're always refilling your chips and salsa. My family will continue to support this small business. read more

First try was mediocre. Second attempt was absolutely disgusting! Large peel and eat shrimp not deveined. Literally saw waitress take uneaten chips off another table and give to us. This will be my last attempt at Los Domingos in Hesperia, which is unfortunate because they are local and we love Mexican food. read more

1 star is too many!! Went there like always and had an issue with the meal this time. Told the waitress who blamed it on us. Then asked for management who showed us the door After making us pay. The manager didn't even ask what the problem was. Worst customer service I've had in my life. Came here for a taco Tuesday with my wife for the first time.To start with the chips were cold the salsa tasted like it was sitting all day. We each ordered soft & hard shell tacos both orders the shells & tortillas were cold the meat was cold I told the manager that the food looked really good and I felt bad to even bring it up about how we felt .He apologized for the inconvenience but when I put my hand out to shake his he just turned away and gave me a dirty look so I definitely will not return to this restaurant. I love this place. If you ever go try their steak fajita salad. I work across the street, so this is my go to place. I have not tried anything else but my co-worker states that the chicken burrito was good. I love the fajita salad with the chicken tortilla soup. The owner is very nice. Though sometimes he is very busy and will forget about you if you sit in the corner but he will make up for it. I can only vouch for the food I have eaten, so try the steak fajita salad. Ate their Sunday brunch on 4/10/16. Their service was mediocre , the food was descent but nothing at all to brag about. Our drink cups stayed empty more than they were fool because our server acted like he couldn't see them. Probably would come back only if everyone else was closed. read more

Just came here for lunch with the family again. I guess I was wrong before. The food wasn't nearly as good this time around. The restaurant was hot and musty with a strange rotten odor. The salsa tasted bland and like it was loaded with black pepper. My soda was lacking proper carbonation and tasted like the syrup lines need a good flush. My niece got fried shrimp and it came out practically burnt. My wife made an effort to inform the waiter but her feedback was simply dismissed as he took away the plates. I guess that the food here can be considered inconsistent at best... I really looked forward to eating here today and I am leaving with a stomach that is already showing signs of distress. I rated two stars only because I think there drinks are pretty good. But the food was terrible. Taco Bell is way better and not a fan of Taco Bell. It was not the place to go to eat but if you want a sit down drink the atmostphere is nice and the staff is good but the food absolutely sucked. None of us were happy with our food.
