My honey had the Chile rellaño and I had the shredded beef sopapilla. The drinks were out of this world delicious. I recommend the coconut jalapeno or the orange creamsicle. They opened up the garage door by our indoor patio seat so as to allow us to enjoy outdoor seating, and when they heard this was our first time here they gave us a free huge nacho plate. This place used to be reasonably priced, clean and friendly but that's not been my experience recently. On a recent visit in January for dinner we noticed the menu had changed and everything was a bit more pricy. Moreover, smaller a la carte options were removed entirely. On the same visit our hostess tried seating us two tables from the entrance when the place was maybe 15% occupied--we requested to be further from the door as the entire place was cold (most everyone was dining in their winter coats and we did as well). She moved us a few tables further in after giving us the ruddiest look you can imagine. Floors and restrooms were also noted to be pretty dirty and greasy in spots. Just picked up some street tacos and guacamole. The tortilla was soft and delicious, the meats were all flavorful--I tried the pork, beef and chicken. The guac was incredibly creamy. Chips were thin, crispy and seemed salt free. We will have to go back and try dining in sometime! read more

Went last night and noticed that they have new menus. They have done away with their a la carte part of the menu. Very disappointed. Most of their dinners come with rice & beans which I do not care for and others are too much food. I used to be able to order off the a la carte and get what I wanted. Came here to meet some friends visiting. The restaurant is very busy and crowded. I got the Burrito Los Dos Potrillos because the menu is very overwhelming, so I went with something with their namesake. It was okay, it was a lot! The portions are huge - walking by other tables I was shocked by how big everyone's plates were! The dining areas are pretty loud with lots of commotion. We went to Los Dos to celebrate my son in law's birthday. Upon arrival we gave our name and number of people in our group. Some how our names got confused and we not called in the time stated when we checked in. My wife asked to see a manager and Jose helped. What's better than Mexican brunch fare? NOTHING! We ventured here on a lazy Saturday morning with a friend to discover their breakfast menu - after our other plans fell through. So glad we did! While we visited the other location and wasn't all that impressed, I have to admit, this location does it better! WHY? STAR 1 = The staff is ultra friendly, prompt and nice! We were seated in a cozy booth in the bar, greeted promptly with chips and salsa and a huge pitcher of margaritas! Our server was so sweet in ensuring our meal came out as requested and checked back with us frequently! STAR 2 = Food is delish! I opted for the Mexican omelette which was stuffed with chorizo, fresh peppers, onions and tomatoes, topped with spicy green chili and cheese - with hash browns and corn tortillas on the side - all of which was so gooey, yummy and totally hit the spot! The others opted for various omelettes and fresh eggs, which all looked so good! Portions are massive, so we took half of our meal home! Brunch is served until noon too! STAR 3 = Location is prime and so close to the movie theater! With a huge sign and lots of parking, it's hard to miss! STAR 4 = Spicey!! It's hard to find places that have just the right amount of spice! The salsa was so fresh and the green chili left my mouth hot, but I loved it! I HAVE to knock a star off for the margaritas. No matter what time, what day of the week Los Dos always has a wait -- and you will wait because it's worth it. The staff are friendly, efficient. The food is great - my go to is veggie or shrimp fajitas. The tortillas are so good - fresh and delicious. Everything tastes fresh though, seasoned well. A really solid Mexican joint. Good stuff here. I arrived here with coworkers and were seated pretty quickly. The restaurant was definitely busy, but we were seated almost immediately. The menu is somewhat overwhelming. There are Hugh number of options available on this menu....It took me some time to figure out what I was interested in. I ended up ordering the Pollo Ranchero. I was pleased with the dish overall. It took only a short wait for it to arrive at our table. The chicken was well cooked and had nice flavor. Hike there was nothing ground-breaking about this dish, it was definitly on the authentic side. It's worth noting that we started out with a salsa that had a reaLly nice flavor (truly a good sign at a Mexican restaurant) This place is definitely worth checking out! read more

Everyone raves about this place and I honestly think it's because it's the biggest Mexican restaurant in the area. We try to give a place more than one try just to make sure. So a friend and I went for his birthday the second time. I started eating my food and everything was fine. It was time to go and I took my leftovers. I didn't eat much. Got outside and I started feeling sick and threw up. Thought it was just me. My friend wasn't sick. Next day I didn't want my leftovers so my friend ate them and later they were sick. A new favorite Mexican place! A friend of mine introduced me to another local Colorado chain that, at first, was really good, but the second time I went back, it was a major disappointment. Imagine my surprise when I found this place on Yelp and it turns out to be a real gem! The interior is a good size and even though it was brunch time on a Saturday, my partner and I were able to get a table right away. Our server was friendly and offered some great recommendations based on our preferences. As is important with all Mexican places, their tortilla chips are top-notch, and they bring you both mild and spicy salsa to go with them. The spicy salsa has a small, smokey kick, but nothing too strong. Also, when walking to our table, we saw that they make their own tortillas fresh right in-house - always a good sign. When I ordered the huevos rancheros with the green sauce and scrambled eggs, & my partner ordered his first-ever ham hock. Even as busy as the restaurant was, we only had to wait 15-20 minutes for our food, and it came out hot! The green sauce has a bit more kick to it than the spicy salsa they bring to the table, but it was very delicious. The eggs were cooked perfectly and, of course, I asked for some of their fresh tortillas. Yep, they're delicious - soft, warm, and shaped really funky, which is just what you would expect when they are handmade. We'll definitely be back because their menu has so many other things to try and, of course, we haven't tried their churros yet - a must-do at any Mexican restaurant but we just didn't have any room left (be careful: the tortilla chips are addictive). read more

Bad enough that I was in tears and other patrons noticed. When the table was ready, we told the host about the harassment, another couple came and validated what happened - saw the entire thing, and the restaurant did absolutely nothing to resolve. You can catch my boyfriend and I at Los Dos at least twice a week! We really enjoy the Centennial and Highlands Ranch locations. If you go to the Highlands Ranch location, ask for Jose Cifuentes! He is by far our favorite waiter. He always remembers us and says hi even if he is not our waiter. If you are going to drink, go the the Centennial location off of Holly, the bartenders there are absolutely amazing! Our favorite items to order are the Cheese Dip (not on the menu...green chile with cheese), Chili Relleno Nachos, Ceviche, Enchiladas en salsa verde, Steet Tacos, Parrillada Familiar, and the Molcajete! Our large family has come to Los Dos since they opened their first location at Holly and County Line. It has been our favorite Mexican restaurant. However, not so much anymore. Apparently with the growth of multiple locations the quality of food and service has gone downhill. Today was the third time in a row we have had a poor experience. Bad service, overcooked, smaller portions, high priced, poor tasting food. Sorry Los Dos but three strikes and you're out. Time to find a new Mexican restaurant. read more

My husband has talked about Los Dos since I met him almost four years ago, but we just now FINALLY made it there together! So, so, so good! I had the carnitas tacos, and I loved everything about it. They were very generous with the portions, and I really enjoyed the refried beans that came with it (slightly atypical from what I am used to, in a really good way). But the green chile was watery which made our food soggy. On top of that I found a hair in my food, the server took it away right away, but a manager never came to our table to apologize.
