As for drinks, they did have jamaica and horchata which came exactly as expected. Normally at these establishments (unfortunately I compare my experience to the spots I used to frequent in southern California) I expected the rice and beans to be in there especially for the price I paid, but to my surprise it was pretty much an all meat burrito with a bit of pico de gallo (which actually is a big plus for me). Just got some carne asada fries and pollo asada fries. went here instead of senor taco cuz it was closer and $3.50 cheaper. Not gonna lie opening the container it was a really good portion size. I was super happy with our decision until I started eating... the most bland nothing tasting food. My wife's pollo was cut so tiny might as well of been ground chicken. Hell my carne was so bland and tiny might as well been ground beef... never regretted my decision so fast. Not gonna lie....I'm somewhat of a bean and cheese burrito junkie and Los Favritos has a good one. Is it the best out there? Not at all...but it's huge and it does taste good!! I threw in a "side" of carne asada fries for kicks (also a huge portion) and now I'm stuffed and satisfied! The service here is always great, the girl that typically works the register is sweet and always smiles. The inside of the store has plenty of seating and clean. Had a very busy morning and was running behind but needed to get something to eat. Called my order in for a bacon breakfast burrito at 10:38am and got there about 10:50am. The cook was standing in the seating ordering area talking to 3 men when I got there. No other customers. A couple of minutes later he headed to the back and the 3 men each placed their orders. I told cashier I had a call in order, I didn't see anything ready to go so I asked if my burrito was ready. She looked around and said no. Cook returned from the back with what I assume was chorizo or longaniza so it seemed he was starting on the order for the guys that just ordered. I do know it wasn't a bacon burrito that he was starting so I told the cashier I called in my order because I was pressed for time. She said it would only take 7 minutes to cook but I said I'd ordered over 14 minutes ago at that time and couldn't wait another 7 minutes. I don't know if she failed to give my order to the cook or if he was too busy talking to friends. What I do know is Filibertos will be getting my business until someone from Los Favoritos can tell me why I should give my money to them when my order wasn't important enough for them to cook it for me. read more

They give you enough red or green sauce for their giant burritos all around just the feel of home I need when back. My personal favorite is adding chorizo to any breakfast burrito. Went to this place ordered a burrito and taco salad, wasn't asked what kind, after a couple of minutes I remembered chicken. I told the cashier I wanted chicken but she said it was already made and it was beef. I asked why she chose beef and she said I was suppose to ask her. Every legitimate Mexican restaurant in this city asks what you want on anything you order. The sign does not say beef is the go to if you don't say, nowhere at the register does it say it was my responsibility to tell her. So a strip mall dive who's food is mediocre at best is about the only mexican restaurant where you will not be asked what you want on anything there. I've gotten attitude from this same cashier a couple of other times before also. So don't go to this place and have a brain fart you will be sorry.
