    Albondiga Chipotle Soup

12/6/25 Out shopping and errands and time for a 3 pm late lunch and first visit. Parking 5/5 No problems finding a spot up close, maybe between meal peak services luck? Atmosphere 5/5 As seen in my photos, this is a modern nicely curated Latin themed restaurant. Great use of colors, Muriel Artwork and area dividing materials providing a clean fun vibe. Food 5/5 This was my first visit and not sure why we took so long to try Nando's. We were out holiday shopping and realized we both were getting Hangry. Our server got our drinks started and delivered our complimentary chips and salsas. Wife zeroed in on the Albondiga soup and I elected to try something less traditional and went with the Faja Pasta; a clever but simple Italian-Latin fusion dish I will re-create at home. Both were delicious and agreed we order them again. I'll be back to try two othered items off their specialty dish offerings that I'm interested in trying. Service 5/5 Friendly, timely and helpful. Food was out quickly and at proper temperature. Confusion try Fusion my Friends-SYOY!

    Mexican pizza with whole beans

My least favorite Nandos of the three I have visited so far. The food was not seasoned well and the service was literally stupid. I had the Mexican pizza with no meat and whole beans. Beans had no seasoning, it seemed to be missing the guacamole cuz there was so little but it was full of green chilis. My friends shared a pizza blanco and said it was really good. Another friend had the albondigas and he liked it. Nandos has really good green tea, but it was nearly impossible to get a refill from our server, no matter how many times we asked. They offer bottomless chips and salsa....these are yummy. If given the option, this wouldn't be the Nandos I would recommend. I gave 3 stars because my friends liked their meals but disliked the service. My food was definitely a 2.

Lunch" O" , chile relleno, beans and rice, 2 floor tortillas. Nothing fancy, but solid home style Mexican.

Arrived for a late lunch on this beautiful Memorial Day. Friendly greeting and immediately seated, as usual. Our waitress brought our drinks, warm crisp chips and salsa. The only complaint I have with Nandos is that their salsa tastes like generic jar style. Wife's chicken taco bowl salad arrived, as well as my lunch tamale plate. Lettuce fresh and crisp, generous portions of tasty chicken. My beans and rice were perfect, and the tamale was packed full of delicious stringy beef. For $ 12.50, on the lunch menu until 4pm, this might be the best lunch in town. Been coming here for several years, and always impressed by the genuine friendliness of the staff. Atmosphere is laid back, and they actually seem to NOT hate their jobs! Nice comfortable place to enjoy a good meal, and we'll return regularly.

Chips and salsa! $5 house margs on Saturdays and the real deal, pina colada!

Great service today at Nando's, even though it was so busy! Love the summer deals and $5 margs on Saturdays! Also, one of the only places in Queen creek that you can actually get a pina colada! I had a steak quesadilla and we ate as many chips with salsa as we possibly could. Great place to take the family or a fun date night!

This time around I liked my meal at Nandos cause I was hungry has skipped breakfast. The portion is super warm and big. Food tasted great, love the salsa from this place, service is quick and restaurant was pretty busy when we arrived then slowed down. We got there around 2:30. Normally this place always has a wait but the time we want it didn't have any wait. The restaurant also has tv screens so it is a nice ambiance, cute place.

We've been here once and I remembered it being ok. I should start by saying I'm not a person who will suggest going to get Mexican food...but my husband loves it so I let him choose where to go for lunch. We walk in on a Friday and the place was busy but we were quickly seated. Drinks were brought right away with some complimentary chips and two different salsas. The menu is large like most places but they had lunch specials. My husband ordered the chicken enchiladas and I got the chicken taco salad with jalapeño ranch. It was all amazing!! My salad was loaded with chicken and the jalapeño ranch had a perfect spice. I can positively say that I want to go back!

The restaurant is cute and looks like it has some history to it. I was greeted right away and sat at a two person table. There was a family for 4 eating but didn't seem to enjoy their food as they left plates full of food. I asked for a Happy Hour menu as I saw they had one posted but guess that was an outdated picture. I ordered a sprite, which tasted like syrup not enough carbonation. Then chips and salsa were sent out. Salsa red was not hot and the green was a sweet taste. I wanted to just order the tacos to taste each but wasn't able to. So I ordered the Taco de La Casa with a ground beef and carnitas tacos, which comes with beans/rice. I also ordered a shrimp taco a la carte. I was not satisfied at all. The tacos lacked flavor, the tortilla's are hand made as stated in other reviews. The shrimp taco was cold and tough. Sad to see such a beautiful building with potential not do so well on a Taco Tuesday night! Hope management will change it up and update there items to get more people in.

It sounds like a myth, but I'm going with it. Haha! My family and I were able to make a reservation at Barrio Queen, easily via OpenTable. Their patio was available if you wanted to sit out there, but really it was closed because of the heat so we sat inside. We had a nice, spacious booth for the four of us and the hostess was super sweet and accommodated us right away. We were greeted by our server, Hanna, who was absolutely amazing. The service was so fast. She listened to everything and she was super sweet to the kids. The kids got to color while they waited for their milk and they ordered off of the kids menu. It's very family, friendly and for 8 to 9 dollars you can get your meal, drink, side, and dessert for the kids which I think is a great price. My son ordered the cheese quesadillas and my daughter had the steak tacos. They had rice and beans and fruit as their sides and a drink of milk. Later they would get ice cream for their dessert. When we went, it was about 430 on a Friday and they have happy hour between three and six so we ordered mostly off of the happy hour menu. I ordered the watermelon agua Fresca and summer fajitas off of their seasonal menu while my husband ordered tortillas, tacos, and quesadillas off of the happy hour menu. I thought the happy our menu was amazing. For five dollars each plate you can get so much food. Altogether we were in and out and about an hour. The place itself was lively. Parking is plentiful outside in the lot. Prices are beyond reasonable. The music is fun and upbeat. You have to get the guacamole. They bring over the car and make it there right in front of you and it's delicious and healthy, too! Hanna told us the way to get such flavor and everything they make is just to roast everything. Good tip. We also had Joe, the manager come over to make sure we had everything we needed. Altogether, my family and I had the best time. My husband even said this is a five star experience and my son said this is the best place ever! My daughter loved the music and was dancing the whole time. If my family is happy, I am happy. Truly a great place to spend my birthday. Also, Hanna brought over a complementary birthday dessert. A lava, chocolate cake with ice cream and strawberries on the side. Doesn't get much better than that. We will be back, Barrio, Queen! Which I believe stands for neighborhood queen. She happens to be right in between where I live and where I work so I will see you later, queen.

Unfortunately, service was very inattentive. At the beginning, our server offered water and we requested four waters, but they were never brought until we asked again. Throughout the meal, we repeatedly had to request basic items such as utensils, salsa..etc. What was most disappointing was that our server never checked back on our table to see if we needed anything or how our meal was. The next interaction we had was being handed the check, which made us feel rushed and as though the goal was simply to get us out the door. We enjoy Barrio Queen and have had much better experiences in the past, so I wanted to bring this to your attention in hopes that it can be addressed.

Authentic Mexican food sounded perfect and I knew good things were in store when I arrived at 11:30am on a Friday and all of inside and outside tables were full. The inside is quaint but has quite a few tables. They also have tables out front in the shade (to call it patio seating may be a stretch, just simple tables and chairs on the exterior of the entrance). You order your food at the counter and I didn't study the menu ahead of time but the ladies taking my order were patient with me. I ordered a shredded beef taco and a cheese enchilada with rice and beans. Nothing fancy for my first time as it's hard to golf on a full stomach! I found the only open table and then hit up the salsa bar. They have 4 or 5 different salsas/hot sauces and a few other goodies. I got a small cup of each sauce and all of them were quite good. My food was colorful, flavorful and just the right away to give me some energy without being lethargic. I could go on about a few other nice things but it seems most of East Mesa already knows about this place given the high scores on Yelp from a lot of reviewers.
