While in Queen Creek after work, I decided to check out the newest location of my favorite restaurant, Nando's. I got seated right away & was deciding what to have. I started with my usual go-to drink, Coke Zero & also a glass of iced water. Stepped out of my usual comfort zone of enchiladas for a change & ordered Huevos Rancheros. While waiting for my meal, I checked out the layout & decor of the restaurant, which I found very nice. The ambiance was steady & busy but not loud. Just perfect for an afternoon. My waiter was super attentive, checking in on me each time he came through & always giving me a big smile. Very nice man. My Huevos Rancheros were absolutely delicious & cooked just right to my liking. Perfect portion size as well. It's good to try other things on the menu & I'm glad I did. Food 5/5 This was my first visit and not sure why we took so long to try Nando's. We were out holiday shopping and realized we both were getting Hangry. Our server got our drinks started and delivered our complimentary chips and salsas. Wife zeroed in on the Albondiga soup and I elected to try something less traditional and went with the Faja Pasta; a clever but simple Italian-Latin fusion dish I will re-create at home. We waited about 25 minutes for a table. When we were finally seated, they tried to put us at a table right by the bathroom. There was an open booth, so I asked if we could sit there instead. We were told no because it was a "regular's table." This is Nando's. A chain restaurant. I pushed back because we had already waited 25 minutes and the booth was sitting empty. They eventually let us have it. Then the regular arrived. Imagine a 6'1", tan bodybuilder walking in expecting his usual booth, only to discover that two mere mortals were sitting in it. He ended up at the communal table across from us and stared at us throughout our entire meal, visibly irritated. The whole situation was incredibly uncomfortable and, frankly, bizarre. Why should one customer get a permanently reserved booth while everyone else waits? Is his money somehow more valuable than ours? Does he not have to wait because he comes in more often? For the record, we come in once or twice a month ourselves. Apparently that's not quite frequent enough to be granted nobility. I didn't realize he was God. My mistake. Food was good. Being made to feel like we had committed an act of treason by sitting in an available booth was not. read more

I have been going to Nandos for a couple of years. Yesterday I was talking to a new waitress and she stated they all the enchiladas and sauces have chicken or beef broth. I've asked this question several times and none of the other Nandos including this one told me this even thought I have specifically asked. My least favorite Nandos of the three I have visited so far. The food was not seasoned well and the service was literally stupid. I had the Mexican pizza with no meat and whole beans. Beans had no seasoning, it seemed to be missing the guacamole cuz there was so little but it was full of green chilis. My friends shared a pizza blanco and said it was really good. Another friend had the albondigas and he liked it. Nandos has really good green tea, but it was nearly impossible to get a refill from our server, no matter how many times we asked. They offer bottomless chips and salsa....these are yummy. If given the option, this wouldn't be the Nandos I would recommend. Arrived for a late lunch on this beautiful Memorial Day. Friendly greeting and immediately seated, as usual. Our waitress brought our drinks, warm crisp chips and salsa. The only complaint I have with Nandos is that their salsa tastes like generic jar style. Wife's chicken taco bowl salad arrived, as well as my lunch tamale plate. Lettuce fresh and crisp, generous portions of tasty chicken. My beans and rice were perfect, and the tamale was packed full of delicious stringy beef. For $ 12.50, on the lunch menu until 4pm, this might be the best lunch in town. Been coming here for several years, and always impressed by the genuine friendliness of the staff. Location was easy to find and parking was abundant. This location was hopping on a Friday night. The expected wait was 40 minutes, but we didn't wait that long. We ordered drinks at the bar and sat outside on the side porch area. Table was ready before we finished our drinks! Staff were super friendly and we enjoyed our dinner. We had the chicken fajitas, carne asada with flank, beef enchiladas and chile relleno. All in all, a great experience and has become our favorite Mexican food stop! read more

The food has no flavor! I ordered hatch green chili enchiladas, there was no green chili in the enchiladas. I also added chicken to these enchiladas, the chicken was boiled white meat chicken with no flavoring. Avoid this place at all cost this is not Mexican food. This is the third time I've given this place a chance there's absolutely no flavor in this food. The only thing that had any spice to it was the habanero salsa. We came here on a Thursday night around 5:45 PM. It was fairly busy, but our wait time was only about five minutes. Isaac was our server and he was very friendly and helpful after we told him we were newbies. It was nice. They started us with a nice bowl of tortilla chips and two salsa, one mild and one more spicy. The chips had a nice amount of salt on them and we're thin and crispy. The salsa were better than average for most Mexican restaurants that we've visited. Issac made some recommendations and we ended up ordering a chimichanga plate, individual chicken and Carnitas tacos, a nice salad to share, a tamale and flautas. This place is always packed so expect a wait before you get seated. The hostesses do their best to keep things organized, but you should just expect a wait and be patient. Food is typical, but it is interesting that the same dishes are slightly different than the same ones in the Gilbert location. First time going here. We walked in and it was super busy so knew it had to be good. We were looking at houses all day with nothing to eat so were very hungry. Our server didn't really seem to have a personality but he was good all except filling my glass to the top with ice like I asked and then ended up giving my husband the glass with more ice. My friend got the numeral nueva, can't remember exactly what it was but she said it was very good. Both my husband and I had a lunch special of ground beef taco, cheese enchiladas and bean tostadas. We had a complaint about the food and you said well I'm going to charge you half because you guys ate some when all of the onions were clearly on the outside of the dish, that's why it looked like we had eaten because it was full of onion sticks that were 2 to 3 in Long. And then when I told you I wanted to take a picture of the dish you were quick to take it away. Steer clear of this place if you're in the mood for a taco salad, the absolute most atrocious waste of money. The presentation is a fried bread bowl, with shredded lettuce and extreme modest amount of a sprinkle of tomatoes, cold chicken that was boiled not grilled, black olives, and sloppily shredded cheese. Parts of the cheese were shredded, but there were chunks of cheese as well. This taco salad did not come with guacamole, sour cream or onions. The chicken is just boiled and shredded a joke of a taco salad I had it in my mind that Nando was gonna knock this salad out the park. I expressed my disappointment in the salad and while the waitress offered it to get me something else I opted out, but I still had to pay for that sad sack of a salad. Wendy's taco salad is better than this super disappointed and surprised. Actually if you go to Nando's, you'll enjoy the free chips and salsa and their fajitas and drinks if you drink otherwise it's noisy. It's very busy. There's always a kid crying the seats are very close to each other so if it's crowded it feels crowded. I might just skip Nando's next time. Barrio Queen isn't my jam either I rather go ham on Taco Bell and watch Netflix at home. I promise, the photos that others that have posted IS NOT WHAT THEY SERVED ME. Nando's is a long time favorite of ours but we haven't been in some time now. We met our son for Father's Day and it wasn't too busy so we went for it. They have a brunch menu that we had never seen before, probably since we have never gone there that early. The food was fantastic as always and they have a large selection of brunch items as well. I had the enchiladas divorciadas and their new cantaloupe margarita. Both were top notch! My wife order a skillet type of plate and my son order the breakfast burrito and both were very good. We also ordered a side of pancakes to share. We were delighted how good they were since it's not really an item you would order at a Mexican restaurant.
