I pass by here all the time on Saturday nights, and they're always cooking on the grill. I was curious and stopped by for two ASADA TACOS ($1.50/taco). The workers were very friendly and politely asked for my order. Food came in about 5 minutes. Their window is very high up and closed off, and made me feel a little claustrophobic. The appearance of the food truck is not the best, such as the illegible alphanumerics on the cart, fading paint and overall cleanliness. This could be a simple and cheap fix to improving the appearance. I highly recommend them fixing it. The food was pretty good, and for a $1.50 taco, I received a lot of meat per taco. The red sauce was decent but not too spicey. I wish they had a sautéed onion bar + jalapeños. Los Francos chose a great location since they are right across the street from 122nd and Stark for Saturday latina dance nights. I see much potential for this food cart! I'd much rather go hear and support a local food business than a big branch. read more

This place has been here for an extremely long time. I am disappointed in myself for not trying them soon. It's literally a 3 min drive from my house, that's a huge plus. I took pictures of the menu so you can see the prices yourself they are very reasonable they don't have guacamole or black olives but everything else is good. Chicken nachos on a scale 1 to 5 they would be a 5 Carnitas tacos & pork tacos also a 5 Rice a 3 Chicken quesadilla was on Fleek give it a Length of wait time 10 minutes! everything was fresh. you can also call to place your order in advance. this is a jewel in south east right behind the Burgerville go here don't go to Burgerville you'll live longer! read more

There are no other taco trucks in this area that can compare to Los Francos. They have the best quality and the most flavorful food. I've had their carne asada burrito to their quesadilla and of course, best of all their tripe tacos. They have the perfect amount of crunch to them. I just love coming here, the couple that works there is really nice and friendly. It does take a long time to make but In the end it's all worth it. read more

Los Francos is a convenient food truck that is open for later dinner eaters. The food truck has patio hanging lights, so it's hard to miss! We got the cabeza burrito and one buche taco. The cabeza burrito was so delicious - the cabeza was cooked perfectly. It was perfectly tender and fried. The beans in the burrito was not overpowering & the cheese complemented everything. This was my first time here. I usually go to lunch before noon so I don't catch them open. Today I was late to lunch and found them to be open. Today would be the day I finally tried Los Francos. Delicious! I had asada and pastor tacos. Both were excellent and generous with the portions. Great green hot sauce too. My tacos are long gone yet its heat still has my brow perspiring. Good stuff! My order was ready in less than 5 minutes. Granted, when I arrived I was the only one there so that could have been why but nonetheless, I was on my way quickly. I will need to go back soon. This is definitely a workplace favorite for us poor souls working in the NW industrial district. I visit probably once a month and vary between ordering the tostadas and burritos--both are big and filling. I love Mexican places that use shredded (vs diced) chicken and this one does. Good portions, good flavors, good prices, fast service, what's not to love? Once I called on a Saturday to see if they are open weekend lunch times but no dice. Also the yelp location map was wrong and the first time I visited I almost ended up at Tubby's instead. By far one of my favorite Mexican food carts in all of Portland. The Alpastor Taco in particular is delicious when paired with both their green and red hot sauce. Don't be fooled into overlooking on this cart's existence and going over to the neighboring Don Pedro restaurant for your Mexican food cravings, especially if you're under the assumption that the food's better there because they actually have a decent-sized restaurant building. I order a vegetarian burrito and ask for no sour cream and the always put it on. I call and ask and say I can't have dairy and the do it anyways. Horrible communication and execution making food.
