    Sauce for fajitas
    Carmen G.

Let me start by saying our server Juan was wonderful. The margarita was average, just a premix. Now on to the food. We ordered guacamole to accompany our free chips and salsa. No flavor at all. The salsa didn't have any flavor, pace tastes better. Shrimp fajitas consisted of shrimp, carrots, mushrooms and onions. I thought we were at a Mexican restaurant. It came with a sauce we had on the side. And thank God we did. It was watered down sour cream. We also ordered the chicken chimichonga. Was the usual boring chimichonga. Of all of the Mexican restaurants in Hudson, this is by far the most underwhelming. Do not recommend

Have gotten take out from here a few times and it has always been yummy and ready when promised. Their tortilla soup is delicious. As others have said, the chips are a bit bland, but I actually prefer that over something overly salty. The chicken fajita bowl was good, and all the ingredients (esp the avocado) seemed very fresh and most importantly chicken was not overcooked! Would definitely go back.

I have to bump Los Habaneros up another level - 5 stars all the way! After spending the past year eating at nearly every restaurant in Hudson (we only have 1 left), my friend and I are going back and re-visiting some of our favorites. Los Habaneros is definitely our favorite Mexican place in Hudson. And in my opinion, they're on the top 10 for Hudson eateries overall. This isn't a fancy place. They're located in a strip mall just off the Charmichael exit. And it's pretty small. But the food is excellent. No fake Americanized junk here - this is the real deal. Yes, you can order some boring items off the menu. But I challenge you to try something with some more vibrant flavors and - gasp - a little HEAT! The prices won't break the bank either. The prices are super reasonable. Last but not least, the service was great - totally on point - again. Lots of parking too. A big thumbs up! -Daddy Maxx Retro

Best Mexican food in hudson. Great prices on beer and margaritas too. Nice low key place located in a strip mall. I will be back.

I chose the grilled shrimp for my entree. The shrimp were not shrimps, they were huge. I chose garlic mashed potatoes for my side (there were many options) and it came with asparagus as the veggie. It was delicious. Service was excellent. Street parking was easy. We parked directly in front of the entry. Cool spot. Love to see old buildings get repurposed.

I'll start with the positives - the ambiance is excellent and they have a great patio. Our server Simone was friendly and witty and really made our table feel welcomed. What could be better was the quality of some of the food in addition to the amount of time we waited for our food to arrive. After our orders were placed, it took about an hour to receive our food, and the table definitely didn't eat together. Even the appetizers took about 40 minutes to arrive at the table. I thought for what you get, it was insanely pricey. I have never paid close to $20 for a wing appetizer to get an odd number of 5 wings. That's insane. My friend and I planned on splitting that and the patty melt. We are huge patty melt lovers, but this one was bland and nothing good to report. The table did enjoy the shrimp dish. I will admit the bruschetta was darn good, but I wish there was more positives to report with the food. We all stated that we wouldn't pick this place again, but if someone wanted to eat here and suggested it, we would come back, but we would all want to try different things (minus the bruschetta and shrimp dish).

Not sure why it took so long to make it here but we finally did it. Isa was our wonderful server/waitress who made the night unforgettable. They had a lovely sweet touch by having a happy anniversary card at our table signed by the entire staff. They must know how much I love snail mail. LOL. We were also treated to a complimentary glass of champagne right away. For drinks, I ordered the Hemingway Special which had Rum, Tattersall Sour Cherry, Grapefruit, and Lime. It was delish and in a beautiful cocktail glass. Later in the evening I ordered an Espresso Press Martini that really hit the spot. It included Proper Vodka, Loon Coffee Liquor, North Forest Maple Bourbon Pecan, Creme de Cacao, & French Press. Hubby ordered a glass of the Pinot Noir and then an IPA. For our meal, I ordered the Side Salad and the Moules à la Creme (mussels). The salad was good but just a tad salty for my taste buds. The mussels were some of the best I've ever had. The broth was perfection that I just wanted to sip that up at the very end. They were also great with dealing with my gluten allergy and replaced the sourdough bread (as a side with the mussels) and gave me French fries with ketchup and aioli on the side. Lovely touch. Hubby ordered the Roasted Pork Loin and I even took a small bite of that and it was tasty...came with broccolini. The beet glaze was a great addition and not too overpowering. Last but not least they also brought out a slice of their cheesecake for us to celebrate our big day. Though not completely GFree, I was able to take the filling and eat that. It was great. Highly recommend Manger and can't wait to come back.

Before going into detail about the menu and service, I want to emphasize that I was disappointed by the restaurant's ambiance. I expected a more French setting, to do justice to its name, Manger. The walls were bare, the seats uncomfortable, and the chairs looked like church pews. I expected more French decor--at the very least, chairs in that style. Even a little French music, which is so lovely and romantic. The croquettes were delicious. I ordered the French fries and was disappointed--they were mushy and tasteless. The aioli was a nice touch, but the ketchup sauce was completely out of place. What I thought was very well prepared was the Trout Veronique. The flavor of the sauce and the clams was absolutely fantastic. As a connoisseur, I have to commend the selection of excellent French wines. It really bothers me when I go to restaurants that claim to be Italian or French but only have California wines. I have nothing against California, but as connoisseurs, we know there are many more options around the globe. I was amazed by the variety of spirits and the house-made cocktails at this place. The Old Fashioned, prepared by Erin, was absolutely delicious. Whenever I go to a restaurant that serves Crème Brûlée, I try it. I have my own Swiss recipe, and I've been disappointed before. That wasn't the case here. The dessert was prepared with the utmost delicacy and had a perfectly smooth texture. The caramel was executed with the precision of a great chef. The service is very professional, and you feel welcomed by their sincere hospitality. Erin is a true professional. See you next time.

The service is some of the best I've had in a really long time as well. They have a full bar, the full agave menu (and happy hour menu that I believe is all day) and the Suttino's pizza menu. I'm not sure how they can fit that many ingredients in one kitchen, but they do, and for that I'm thankful. The cowboy corn bites are to die for. They come out with an internal temperature similar to molten lava so be warned, but oh my word. I could eat these every single day and never get sick of them. The nacho's are some of my favorite in the area and I like that they layer the ingredients, be sure to dig a little before you fill up on the top layer of chips as most of the goodies are hidden in the second layer. The kitchen fries are worth ordering and come with a garlic aioli, but I prefer the chipotle mayo that comes with the corn nuggets with the fries. Suttino's jalapeño popper pizza is sooooo yummy. I've ordered it twice and one had a lot less toppings, but if you request they aren't shy on the toppings it will be your new favorite if you're into that type of thing. The sausage and mushroom pizza wasn't crazy saucy so if you like sauce, maybe ask for more? The chicken bacon ranch was also killer. All in all, one of my new favorites in the area. Worth a stop and I always thought it was a to go burrito and taco shop based on the name, but now you know.
