Not really what you expect. Definitely a hidden gem. Small menu. Ordered a beef burrito. Let me say, it was the most delicious burrito I have ever had. The meat was seasoned perfectly and it was filled with rice, lettuce, avocado; well you can just read the menu. But there was plenty of extra in the burrito, no skimping on any ingredient. So disappointing! After reading all of the positive reviews, I decided to take my g'kids here for lunch to celebrate the last day of the school year. The food was, as someone else described it, flavorless, bland. I had a chicken burrito which was nothing to write home about. My g'kids didn't like their experience there either! My grandson loves quesadillas but he wouldn't eat those and they wouldn't allow him to send it back for something else unless we paid for both! My granddaughter ordered tacos but was sadly disappointed when they arrived because they looked nothing like the one's in the advertisement on our table. The waitress said oh we don't have the hard taco shells...Whaaaaat? The one available wait staff was friendly though. Needless to say we won't ever be going back! read more

I can't stay away. The chimichangas and burritos keep me coming back. As always the service was great. We had 2 Tinga (chicken in a chipotle sauce) chimichangas, 2 steak tacos and a steak burrito. I love the free chips and salsa you get here. Chips are hot and the salsa is fresh. You get 3 wonderful sauces with your order. Next time I think I will try the quesadillas and nachos read more

Sometimes the food is good; sometimes the food is terrible. It's a hit or miss with this place. Sometimes the chicken burrito comes with flavorful beans, avocado, great grilled chicken, grilled onion and jalapenos, tomatoes, etc what should be in a chicken burrito but sometimes it's half the size of what it was last time with tasteless chicken, canned beans, and some rice or they'll forget the chicken completely. Also if you want cheese, you have to specify that or it'll come with no cheese. Also even if you tell them, there is still a very high chance they'll forget. Sometimes they have 4 different sauces to eat the burrito with but sometimes they only have 1 or 2 left. When they run out of a sauce, they're out for a few weeks at a time. Wouldn't be surprised if they have no sauces at some point. Service is nice, but food takes forever to come out. Make sure to call ahead. read more

My wife and two daughters all got chicken enchilatas. They were filled with dry tasteless ground chicken. They were covered with lettuce and under ripe tomatos with no cheese and just a little bit of sauce and sour creme. Extra cold sauce is served in bottles. The whole dish was room temperature. They are served without rice or beans which cost a couple dollars extra each. Perhaps this is more authentic than the chain resturante's but nowhere near as good for our taste. The nearby chain resturante version comes with rice and beans and is also cheaper. The Chiles Rellenos that I had were hot and excellent. Service was adequate. read more

I was really excited to hear about the new restaurant after being a regular of the food truck they operated. Really nice atmosphere and I was anxiously awaiting some other Mexican specialties. We sat down and our server took our drink order. That was the last time we saw her. A young girl brought our drinks and a menu. Most Mexican restaurants serve chips and salsa with the drinks while you decide what you want. Nothing was served here. Menu was simple with the usual entrees. Upon deciding, we waited a good twenty minutes until I got up and found a server. Five minutes later she comes to the table. We ordered, and waited another 45 minutes for our food. Upon looking around, it was obvious other patrons were getting restless as well. One thing I routinely got from the truck was the Campasina where it was served with two corn tortillas and a lime wedge. The restaurant version was one tortilla and no lime wedge. Asada steak was dry and tough. Retried beans and the rice were out of the bag. Nothing special there! Overall, somewhat disappointing with fair food and terrible service. One note... There were only about 15 people in the place. I hope they can figure it out and truly wish them well! IMHO, nothing better than good Mexican food!!! read more
