I was ate at the New Castle, Delaware sight. I had the best service...Professional and extremely helpful. The food I ordered was a Steak Burrito (Burrito Al Gusto) it was delicious. It was hugh! That just meant I had two lunches. The place was clean and organized. Not sure why all the complaints because my experience was great! Perhaps they got rid of people who didn't keep it clean and who couldn't cook which often happens when opening a new restaurant. Try it again and see. read more

My burrito came with hog anus! This place is legit AF. I ordered a carnitas burrito to test out this restaurant near my work because carnitas are delicious. My food arrived and the tortilla was packed with a mix of roast pork and tripas (chitterlings or boiled intestines). A welcome surprise, but not what I ordered. I had the Torta, which is a samich and the dam monster samich was so big that I couldn't fit a regular mouf... all the burnt chicken fell out of the samich.. also ordered Tacos and they came in soggy as hell. This was a big disappointment, I ordered a medium pico de Gallo. Which cost me 7.00 this was not worth those $7. This was not a pico de Gallo it was more like "throw a bunch of cilantro type of dish and call it a day". There was little to no tomatoes and nothing was chopped correctly, looks like a dish just full of cilantro. Will not go here again has well chips were stale. I tried to order takeout using their online system. I went to the restaurant 15 mins later, but no one acknowledged me or helped me for another 15-20 mins, as there was only one poor waitress working alone on Cinco de Mayo. When I finally got to talk to her, she told me nothing has come through online. Beware if you use their online ordering system, they may never get your order. As I was waiting, I could see both the kitchen and register areas. The restaurant is small and full of color. I was surprised to see the variety of Mexican cuisine they offer, I thought is was just burritos and tacos. If you're happening to fly by on RT13 and notice a small, run down yellow house on the side, don't be discouraged. This is hands down the best and most authentic Mexican food I've had. When you step inside there are cases of Jarritos (soda) and avocados stacked in places, Telemundo is on the corner TV, decor and posters are all in Spanish. It's truly an un-Americanized experience. English is on the menu as more of an afterthought rather than a necessity. The Pico De Gallo is super fresh and is probably the best you'll have, and I don't even like tomatoes. The orange sauce they offer with most dishes is properly hot and compliments the rest of the meal nicely. Chicken Quesadillas are enough to fill you up for the entire day. Fajitas are cooked fresh and taste amazing, I was given 8 tortillas and it was enough for 2 people, all for only $10. My recommendation is to sit down and eat there, if it's too "run down" for you then go eat Americanized food at chilis. If you plan on taking out, call ahead, it's not subway; food this good and fresh takes more time to prepare, probably around 15-20 minutes. They also have Molcajetes on the menu, which will probably be my next choice. read more

This is a little diamond in the rough. The service was awesome and everyone was very welcoming. This is the best authentic Mexican food I've eaten outside of my trips to Mexico. My wife loved her Fish Burrito and loved my Steak Burrito. The steak was very well seasoned and made the burrito good to the last bite. This place is a hidden gem. I work nearby and go at least once a week. I absolutely LOVE their chicken burrito, quesadillas, and the staff can make a mean drink. They've done some renovations over the past year or so that have made it a little more cozy but they still have a ways to go to make it visually appealing. There's a random deer's head on the wall. Not sure why. I would suggest more staff - there is only one waitress (who is very, very sweet) when we go and she's usually slammed. From their website it looks like they have three different locations so I thought it should be good. When you walk in you can clearly see it needs some updating and there was a little old man playing a keyboard by the front counter. Kind of strange. I looked at the menu and ordered the queso dip and specifically told the young man waiting on me that I wanted chips and dip. The young man rang up my order and said it was $10, when I pointed out to him that the menu said $7 he said the menus were old and no offer to change the price. Um, okay fine. As I sat there I just kept smelling this musty smell and the longer I waited the more I couldn't wait to leave. I got my order and there were no chips, just a foil pack of soft tortillas. I asked for chips and the to my man got me a paper bag of chips from a bin by the counter with no issue. Welllll, after all that I got home and was completely disgusted with my "dip". I'm assuming they used Oaxaca cheese and it looked like they put some shredded chorizo in it. But it was a congealed blob. Tried to heat it up over very low heat on the stove to maybe get it a little melty but it didn't even taste good. The chips were awful and stale and I didn't even bother touching the soft tortillas. I got a chicken fajita and beef steak platter with cactus leaves. The beef was so well done to the point where I could not bite it into smaller pieces. It was the toughest piece of beef I have ever attempted to eat... I soon gave up and moved into the chicken. The chicken was also pretty overdone and very dry and flavorless.
