Everything is good here the chicken is amazingly flavorful and all the sides taste fresh and yummy... Although the service can be a little flaky.... I would also think twice about the deserts... not sure if they bring the old pastries from Tropicana's (the bakery they are affiliated with) but Ive tried them twice and both times they tasted old. I stopped in unexpectedly at 4pm on a Thursday and bought two chicken tacos to go. With lettuce, no cilantro, with onions, and with mild salsa. $3.05 was the total cost. The service was quick and friendly. The restaurant was clean and well lighted and ventillated. The floors and trash area were clean. I didn't know what to expect, but.....the tacos were hot, fresh, and delicious. They weren't small tacos either let me tell you- they were double sized. The lettuce was cruchy - which I love. Did I mention they were made from rotisserie chicken roasted on site? I was delightfully impressed with this place. Who knew? I'll be going back for sure. I'll be getting some extra tacos for my roommate who will hate me if I talk any more about this place without his getting to try a bite. PS - next time I'll be tying one of those cheesecakes in the cooler that I saw. They looked so good! At $2.75, I'll likely try 2 or 3. Insane. read more

Love this place been a loyal customer for years. They close at 9pm..I just made a call at 8:20pm lady answered and said give me a moment as I dont think there is any more pollos. She put the phone down for 5 minutes and I can hear everything..she is taking orders and I'm patiently waiting then she tells me that there is no more pollos they've been sold. Note that my husband was already on the way so he can just pick up. I call him and tell him nvm he is outside already he walked in as a customer and he placed his order! When I had just hung up and she said they sold out. He asked her oh I thought you were sold out and she says its orders from the cook she didn't even know what to say and that because people call in and dont pick it up well that ain't my fault but we always order as we are on our way there ?! I hope this is coming from the owner that they dont want to make more $ after a certain time. So dissapointing the way the situation was handled. read more

I will give this place 0 stars if I could. The food was not only garbage but I was missing items. When I called the cashier that attended me said come back and we'll give you a refund. I came back and they refused to give me the refund back of what I was missing. They wanted to give me the item I was missing. Why would I want the item 5 hours later? The owner started screaming at the cashier in the back telling her that she needed to tell me that the previous worker didn't have the authority to issue a refund back to me. The Red Chicken Torta is delicious - and I'm not a bread person - but my favorite is the Super Taco combo - two packed flavorful chicken tacos, two sides, and a drink for about $6. Insane! NEVER AGAIN WILL I COME HERE!!! I had the worst service last week because of the CLEARLY INCOMPETENT CASHIER. Every single d**n item that I tried to order from their menu was (out of stock). We were running short on time and couldn't go elsewhere so I had to suck it up and I asked the cashier what they even had "in stock: that wouldn't take long. Alright so enchiladas and salad bowl it is. We pay, sit down, wait for our order. As we are waiting for our order, it gets very busy. Maybe 30 minutes have passed and I noticed everyone that came after us, left before us. So this snobby female cashier ( chubby, glasses) decides to sit down, on the table next to us, and take a break or lunch with NO ONE at the register, and starts to pig out on her food instead of checking on our order or apologizing. So clearly i'm upset because it's been over 45 MINUTES, and I have no explanation as to why we're the only ones left waiting. So my fiance had to get up and ask the COOK where our order is, that's when he proceeds to tell us that he never received our order. WHICH WE CLEARLY HAD THE RECEIPT AND TIME FOR. He said he would get to work on it, and instead of the cashier getting her f*t a*s up to apologize and fix it, there she remained, still eating after god knows how long. I'm writing this review solely on their customer service. I love Los Pollos but extremely disappointed in their service. So I had placed an order for pickup at 615. I ordered a chicken torta and a combo chicken family order. They told me my order would be ready in 30 minutes. We go to pick up the order. It's packed and I get it. It's dinner time. We go in and we pay. They repeated the order but my torta was clearly forgotten and hey refused to let me know. So we had to wait another 25 minutes for it to be made without any communication or even eye contact as a courtesy or even an apology. I find this extremely rude considering I've been coming here for years and it's unacceptable. At least tell me hey do you still want we forgot it. I would have been alright with that. And the best part is they told me it would be an additional 20 minutes and just avoided me. Extremely disappointed. Customer service is what keeps a place in business.
