Dranks... Strong! My boyfriend doesn't drink but I'm kind of an alcoholic and I had one of their Texas 16 oz margaritas and I was feeling right... And my bf was legit, eyes glazed over drunk. Their shrimp tacos were ok.. Shrimp was cooked and seasoned well but they literally just throw them on two Flour or corn quesadillas and there you go! Three shrimp tacos. I asked for lettuce on the side to add to it. The guacamole is not fresh but ok... Salsa is thick and chips were decent. Service was good and usually I look for a spot to make stronger margaritas but holy damn... These knocked us both on our ass. I think they just treated for cockroaches today. Smelled like bug spray and 2 of the little critters scurried across my table during lunch. I had to get out of there after that. I won't be back, but you should give them a week or two before going back.... Why can't this Mexican Place be great? It has all of the makings of a great Mexican Restaurant, the bold colored walls, the laminated menus, the strip mall location. I had high hopes. Even the parking lot was full. But alas, my taste buds were impressed not. This was the blandest food, of any type, I have ever eaten. This food is for people who thinks water is spicy. Let me tell you how bland this food is. I had the Enchiladas Supremos and it's a sampler that has a beef, chicken, shredded beef, bean and cheese enchilada all covered in cheese, red enchilada sauce and sour cream. The shredded beef was chewy. The beef and chicken looked different but had the same "I've been boiled to death flavor". I'm sorry, did I say flavor. No. There was no flavor to be found. Answer me this. If one boils chicken in salt water, would not chicken have flavor? Ok, so we agree that it's not hard to season chicken. This chicken was boiled in plain water. I'm not kidding. So was the beef. The one star that I had to leave in order to write my review was for the cheese enchilada. We all know the cheese is store bought sooo, this is a no brainer. The enchilada sauce had to have been thinned with water. It was flavorless. The salsa was just tomato sauce with chunks in it (no spice). The chips, decent. Well! I'm sad to announce that it wasn't the greatest(for me), and as much as I don't want nor will I give a bad review(starwise) I'm just here to speak my thoughts and experience. Don't get me wrong, I had high hopes. The staff was great, the prices were extremely fair and the establishment was ok, had a good vibe. The food just wasn't up to my expectations unfortunately. I got the 3 tacos w beans and rice to go. The tortillas tasted raw, the carne asada and chicken was very bland, the chips and salsa weren't very hot either..... now, it could very well be just me because I come from a traditional Mexican family, and maybe I'm extremely picky..... but I've had other restaurants around Indy that I frequent regularly. I'm out here for work from California, so finding a good restaurant is my past time after a long day. read more

I stopped here while spending night in a hotel near the airport and I am glad that I did! It's in a strip plaza and does not look like much from the outside but the food is very good. I always initially judge by the salsa and theirs is great. Spicy and full of flavor. The margarita was perfect as well. I ordered shrimp, chicken and steak fajitas and they were excellent. This is a fine mexican place for a lunch crowd. The chips are standard the salsa isn't the greatest but not the worst either. It's not a spicy as prefer but it will do. The cheese dip is ok at best. I get the arroz con pollo when I go there. Its is ok but not up to par with places like Puerto Vallarta. The lunch dishes seem to be the better bet as the tacos, enchiladas, and burritos are a much safer option. Bottom line. Its ok for lunch but if you have the time you should drive to Puerto Vallarta for dinner. read more

Solid Tex-Mex Had the steak platter and asked for cheese sauce on top - really tasty! It's basically a large burrito, lean steak with rice and a 'salad' (loose term for lettuce and tomato). We had re-fried beans and they were excellent. For any inexpensive Tex-Mex restaurant, the thing that usually lacks is flavor, and there was plenty of flavor in this dish. Great food, friendly staff... What's not to like! I stopped in for an early dinner on Saturday afternoon. I was the only one seated at the bar. The staff made sure I had something to watch on the TV and stopped by to chat and refill my basket of chips. I ordered the combo plate. For 9.99, you get two overflowing plates of food. Everything was fresh and hot. I had to get a box to take the leftovers back to the hotel. I managed to two more meals out of the portion I took out. I will be hit this place for lunch and dinner next time I'm in Indy !! read more
