We just got married at Los Robles this past weekend and we could not have asked for a better or more magical experience. From start to finish, everyone was extremely helpful in making sure we had the wedding of our dreams. McKenna and her team were an absolute DREAM to work with for both our welcome party the night before in the ballroom, as well as for wedding day itself in the gardens. Our guests raved about how smoothly everything went throughout the day and how absolutely gorgeous the venue is. The apps we chose and the main course food were so delicious! I will forever be in awe over this team and this venue. Thank you all for helping us to create beautiful memories that will last a lifetime!

Los Robles Greens "The Gardens" Venue: Beautiful Venue, But Beware of the Wasps We recently held our high school reunion at this venue, and there were definitely some wonderful things about it. The setting is lovely, the staff was generally very nice, and the food itself was good. We truly appreciated the ambiance and the effort put into the service. However, we had a major and unexpected issue with wasps. Unfortunately, no one warned us that bees might be a problem. During the appetizer hour, wasps were swarming around the charcuterie board and other appetizers, which made it pretty much impossible for our guests to enjoy them. Later on, between 7 and 8 p.m. when we were having dinner, the wasps were still a nuisance, landing on dinner plates and making everyone uncomfortable. While we understand that this is an outdoor venue and some interaction with nature is to be expected, we felt it was something the venue should have informed us about in advance. They did not have any visible measures in place--like fans or netting--to help mitigate the issue, and when we spoke to the staff, they simply told us that it was out of their control. In short, while the venue has a lot of positives, we would caution anyone planning an event here, especially a wedding or a large gathering, to be aware of the potential for wasps. Such a shame that we wasted so much money on the appetizers/charcuterie in general.

I had the most beautiful wedding at Los Robles Greens. They were so communicative, the service was fantastic, and the venue clean and beautiful. Thank you to McKenna and Melanie who helped organize the day.

This place was nice! The garden itself was very scenic and magical and looked amazing for a wedding venue! The only issue with the venue I had was that there was a tree right in the middle of where the seats would go so it was hard to see from the back rows. The food was tasty, I was able to try 3 different appetizers that were floating around during the cocktail hour. My favorite was the mini taco bowl, it was like a little Tostitos Scoop chip with beef, cheese and guacamole. Then I had a super fresh tomato, basil and mozzarella skewer and finally we had a warm artichoke dip that was just okay. Entree-wise, the Asian salad with apple and champagne vinaigrette was tasty! Very light. We were served chicken and steak with asparagus and roasted carrots. The chicken was flavorful and tender, I had to switch my steak with someone because the one I got was waaaay too red for my liking. But the seasoning was on point. The veggies were undercooked and a bit hard to chew. There was also an eggplant Parmesan option for vegetarians and I heard raving reviews about it. Not sure if the cake came from the venue, but it was good! The reception area was nice, they had heater lamps which was clutch because it definitely got chilly! The dance floor was a good size. They have a noise ordinance so things couldn't get too loud. It was very spacious, enough room for a bar, photobooth and plenty of room to breathe. The bathrooms were also very clean here too and connect right to the bridal suite which could be good and bad. All in all, lovely place to get married!

Par 70 course off of moorpark road in Thousand Oaks. Can be a little pricy 50-85$ the course is 5-6k yards. The course is challenging with bunkers, Some narrow farrows, you definitely have to strategically your next shit and know where you can't mess. Cart beverages are on hand for all your needs. Greens were nice. The course reminded me of simi hills and knollwood. I definitely will be going back in the future to lower my score it definitely got the best of me.

This review is for the wedding venue only. It's been a couple decades since I played golf at Los Robles Greens, however we attended a wedding there last month. The outdoor courtyard was beautiful and the way the ceremony was set up it was like a amphitheater. The reception was held in another part of the property and was very spacious. We were served a filet mignon and salmon that was excellent. So good that I had to ask the grooms family if the food was catered from a outside restaurant. All the food, appetizers to the dessert was provided by Los Robles Greens. Without knowing the cost, it's a good place hold a wedding.

Our organization held an awards event for 80 people--including local dignitaries--in the Sunset Ballroom at Los Robles Greens October 23rd. Everything went extremely well. The room setup was exactly as we had planned, and the buffet options were all delicious. The team on-site for the event was very attentive and responded immediately as needed. I particularly want to thank Alex, Devyn, McKenna, and Levi for making our event a tremendous success. I highly recommend Los Robles Greens for such events, and our organization will definitely want to hold more celebrations at the facility. Thank you!

It has been pouring rain here for two weeks. We tried to play here a couple of weeks ago but we backed out due to the weather. When we did finally play, we really had an excellent time. My only complaint is the location of the driving range. You need to walk or drive well past the middle of the first fairway so you could hit balls back towards the clubhouse. There is a range closer to the clubhouse that is private where you hit balls the opposite direction toward the other range. Other than that quirky complaint, everything else was wonderful about our experience. The rates are quite competitive. I paid $58 on a Saturday morning for a non-resident. Since the course was so water logged from the rains it was cartpath only, so we decided to walk. I'm in pretty good shape and found the course quite walkable but, yes, I was a bit sore last night. It still beat walking back and forth to the cart path after every shot. The guys we were paired with had a cart and we kept up with them quite easily. It was still a 5-hour round. We barely waited for the group in front of us and did not feel rushed by the group behind us. For a soaked course, it was in amazing condition. The greens were excellent, fast, true and well maintained. The fairways were not very tight and errant shots were easy to find. Lots of oak trees made for some challenging shots. The layout was hilly with some gorgeous sand traps. Some are quite deep and some were quite large with different native plants. Quite picturesque for a public course. I would not hesitate to play here again.

Upon entering I noticed how super clean this restaurant was & so were their restrooms, highly organized & attention to details. This Wood Ranch has seating inside, booths, table and chairs, the bar area, and enclosed area. This restaurant is beautiful inside & of course the workers here too! This Wood Ranch BBQ & Grill atmosphere is Classy, Elegant, chic, Very friendly, Warm, Cozy, Inviting & Welcoming. I've have known Wood Ranch BBQ & Grill since I was younger, they always have Great Service & Great Delicious Meals here! Today Esme, Sol, Rook were both in the front. I asked them what soup they had today, since it does change ever so often. Today they have their famous Tri- Tip soup! I also asked them some other questions & and the answered them all beautifully. Next they send me across the area to have a to go order, that's when I met Ethan. I asked Ethan how much would it cost if I got 3 orders of Tri-Tip soups to go and extra famous garlic rolls! So instead of 3 orders I got 4 ha! The total was $40.54. Which I thought was a great price for their always Outstanding & Delicious Meals here! Ethan told me it would probably take about 10mins I told him it's fine, cause I saw how busy it was there. I actually didn't have to wait 10 minutes. When I got home I heated everything up and it's Flipping Fantastic Deliciousness!! Mouthwatering, Super Savory! Ethan quickly came out and handed my goods! I beyond thrilled. Ethan was super sweet, kind, caring, very genuine, very knowledgeable, super down to earth! Ethan has this super positive upbeat energy about himself that truly radiates! Ethan is your Rarest of all diamonds! His shine can never fade! Please treasure him greatly! I would love especially Thank Ethan for a Fantastic & Fabulous & Memorable Visit! I would also like to Thank Esme, Rook & Sol for being so Sweet & Kind! I would like to Thank Wood Ranch BBQ & Grill for a Great & Positive & Wonderful Experience & Hospitality here! It was nice when they had you order and get your own food but covid took it away. Now, you just need to go up to the cashier and order your food or order it from your table online. I usually order the Mushroom and Beef Stew, Chimichurri Steak, and Chicken Cobb Salad, and they are really good. I'd been wanting to go back and take Dear Hubby to enjoy this very special re-imagining of the previous space, which had been an Irish pub incarnation. When our sister-in-law and two nieces were in town, the five of us were able to spend a quick evening together at Selvin's. We had been working on a project at our house, and by the time we got finished and ready to go out there wasn't a lot of time left as we went on a weeknight and they close at 9:00. I'm surprised that having a full bar, and being attached to a hotel property, that they would hang it up so early - even 9:30 or 10:00 would make more sense. It's such a charming place; seems a shame to have to call it a night so early. The ambiance is absolutely divine, especially out here in suburbia. It's very innovative in its layout. The lighting was carefully planned and is very effective in creating a special mood. And, what can be said about the wall of roses? It's tailor-made for snapping fun photos, that's for sure. The chef is sending out creative and Dee-Licious dishes from the kitchen. Yes, I know how to spell delicious, but it is worth adding the accented flair to stating the fact that this is a cut above many other dining establishments in the Conejo Valley. Dear Hubby and I shared Pappardelle Pasta and a Tuna Tartare appetizer. Both were excellent. One of our nieces ordered the taco platter. Wait till you see the photo. The only thing that was disappointing, menu-wise, was that bread wasn't included, so we ordered some as a side. Two little slices. I've forgotten the price, but I recall that it turned into sticker shock when we saw what was served. I'm tickled that they offer a nice array of zero proof cocktail options. They aren't inexpensive - apparently spirits without alcohol aren't any less (or maybe only slightly less?) than the full-spirited options. Still, it's nice to have the option. Our out of town family members LOVED Selvin's; it was a big hit with all of us. As an added bonus, there was a guitarist playing beautiful acoustic music when we arrived and were seated in the lounge area. Major extra credit!

It's the perfectly curated trio - Dirty Martini, followed by a well dressed crisp Cesar salad, and perfectly hot Truffle French fries. That's girl dinner in a nutshell (trust us on this combo). On their speciality menu it's called "Martinis and Munchies for Two" for $49. An amazing deal split between two friends. Dirty Martini: Some of the best ice cold martinis on this side of town. These cocktails were crafted to perfection and were always a sucker for the blue cheese stuffed olives. Tossed Cesar Salad: A Cesar salad during these hot summer months always hits the spot. Crisp, cold and fresh. The dressing was solid but I must highlight the lightly scattered capers on this salad - so smart and so tasty! Truffle French Fries: After a few martinis these French fries come in clutch. Crispy, hot and perfectly salted - who doesn't love a French fry and an aioli with a kick. Honorable Mention: PASTA. I was very impressed with my pasta dish here. Ordered the pappardelle bolognese and this pasta was a 10/10. Perfectly cooked ribbons of pasta with a hearty meat sauce and the Stracciatella topping sealed the deal for me on this pasta. We had a fabulous girls dinner from start to finish. The ambience at Selvin's is truly magical and we just love the decor and bar area. We had a cozy little booth to ourselves and the service was top-notch from start to finish. Extra kudos to Claudia for being a bubbly, lovely girls girl who was super attentive to us during our meal and made the night A+. Can't wait to come back soon.
