We were getting ready to head in to the shop next door to have breakfast but opted to try Los Tacos instead and we all felt like we made the right choice after we ate. Also, the cook was outside as we were parking and he had such a great attitude when telling us that we should check them out that it just made us want to go in and try it. We ordered some gorditas and an ABC burrito. We also got to try their horchata and it was very refreshing. The gorditas were very fulfilling and the different meats we ordered all had great flavor. The ABC burrito is just your regular breakfast burrito so it didn't have anything super unique but overall tasted great. Service was quick and all the workers we encountered were very friendly. There are a few of these around and I tried two on a recent trip to San Diego. Delicious tacos and burritos. A friend and I split the shrimp diablo burrito which was easily big enough for two. Very tasty. I also had carnitas taco, which I found a bit greasy and fatty. The service is fast and helpful. Nice people greeted us when entering and brought food to our table. The restaurants are small and have limited seating. I would call ahead if you have a very good group. Not sure they can accommodate but worth a try. The interiors are fine. Not over the top themed or anything but just a few things on the wall. Overall, great food at excellent prices. I would recommend. read more

Maria was hand making the most beautiful Gorditas when we walked in we decided to try it out! We got the chorizo & potato and it did not disappoint! Well, I read some of the reviews and decided to try on my own. I came here on a "taco Tuesday", of all days and it was hopping! The line was 1 person away from being out the door, but luckily they were fast so there's that! I ordered a birria taco combo. It was basically 3 large corn tortillas with a healthy amount of beef birria and just enough cheese. Of course, there was a cup of consumé, onions, cilantro, and limes. I had to drive about 15 minutes to get home. I opened the container soon after I sat down to eat and everything was still hot-this was a pleasant surprise! The beef birria was tasty, not too salty and just right for my liking, as well as the consumé. I mean it was nothing special, but I will say again, that for as busy as they were, the service was fast and everyone there was polite and attentive! For me, the customer service was on point so it's worth another visit. read more

The food is great, the place is a bit small, but fine, and the service is mostly good. However, when I noticed an error in my order I brought it to the attention of the employee, only to be told I didn't ask for what I asked for. Well, they gave me beef, which I do not eat. I don't typically order food that my dietary restrictions block me from eating, so I'm pretty sure I said the one I think I said. The best part, was hearing the employee complain about me and lie to the other employees about what happened, in Spanish. Super neat. I had just arrived from Tijuana, so my Spanish was in top form. This is one of those places where you walk in & you just know the food is gonna be so bomb. The service is amazing, everyone is very friendly and the food came out quick. Love love love Los Tacos! Every time you walk in you're greeted with a friendly hello! That's staff are always super friendly and helpful. The restaurant supports the city of Oceanside by hosting lots of school fundraisers. It's so awesome they give back to the community! We stopped by here just before making our way back to Irvine. I wanted to find a new place to get a lengua burrito. It took me a while to find a spot, headed back up through Carlsbad, but we stumbled upon this place here. The one good thing I will say about their burrito is that they fill the entire thing with meat, which is an absolute must when I'm looking for a burrito. But at the same time, if you're gonna pay anything over $12 for a burrito, it better have a ton of meat lol. The flavor of the meat was quite tasty. Stand with a little bit of the cilantro and onions. I didn't really need to add the hot sauce as the flavor was really good. We did not eat in the restaurant so I really couldn't tell you about the ambience. But if you are into tongue burritos, I would definitely recommend you stop by this place and check it out. read more

I've been getting food for a while now. Went to get Sam as usual today. And my burrito tasted funny. I couldn't place . Until i checked. The onions and tomatoes were bad. This is so gross. Tomatoes and onions are cheap, and they decided to use old rotten onion and tomatoe. If they did that with these items, that are inexpensive. Imagine with the meat! Will not be going back. i used to come here a lot at night, and night crew is always so nice and so kind. they make my food delicious and I couldn't complain about anything. it's the morning crew I have a problem with. There's always something wrong with my order, seem like they don't understand what exceptions mean. This place delivers on huge burritos and a wide variety of tacos that are packed with flavor. I ordered The Local burrito with guacamole and no cheese, and it did not disappoint--super filling and fresh! I also tried a mix of tacos: the tripe, cabeza, and carne asada, each perfectly cooked and seasoned. The highlight for me was the spicy shrimp and steak taco, a secret menu item recommended by the super helpful guy working the counter. We ordered tacos late last night via DoorDash. We didn't have high hopes, just needed a snack before bed, man these tacos did not disappoint! I ordered the garlic shrimp and a mini birria. My partner got two veggie tacos and a side of rice. Everything was soooo tasty. The toppings were piled high. Lots of cilantro and onions and the sauces were so good! Perfect late night meal. What street tacos should be. Super generous with the filling for a street taco and they have tripas and cabeza which is a must for me. Mari was amazing and delivered on her promise that the tacos would be delicious. Tacos being my focus, I ordered a tripas, cabeza, and an al pastor since, like all good spots, they're shaving it right off the trompo with the pineapple on top. All amazingly juicy and the tripas were fried to crispy perfection but they also offer softer if that's your vibe. Overall, if you're looking for more than the standard asada, chicken, and carnitas, definitely give this place a shot. I know I'll be back when I'm getting that craving. read more

Best tacos and burritos we have found so far! The meat truly is exceptional especially the Al pastor and the carne asada. If you order a nachos or fries plate, you'll have enough food for three meals! I love to get their seafood tacos like shrimp absolutely delicious. They have wonderful guacamole. I can't say enough good things about this place! And the price point is better than Valerie's which we love as well, but they've gotten a little pricey read more

Best tacos that I've had in this area, hands down. I make sure to stop by at least once, every time I'm in the area. While I really want to make my way through the menu, I always go to my favorite - Carnitas taco, and garlic shrimp taco. I'm very picky with Carnitas. These are so flavorful, and have those perfect little crispy bits. LOVE them. Garlic shrimp tacos have a little bit of a crispy cheese layer in the tortilla. Again, packed full of flavor. And Joe is so friendly and always makes us feel welcome. So glad to have this place to look forward to when I come to visit my mom. read more

Hawaiian burrito is my go-to for lunch. Not spicy, yet tasty combination of pastor and pineapple wrapped in a flour tortilla in addition to some rice, etc. I typically telephone my order and pick-up to eat at home or in a nearby park close to the beach. Some seating inside and a few tables out, but can be crowded on the weekends. Located near the 78 and 5 freeways; just one exit east of I-5 on the 78 freeway (Jefferson exit). There is a salsa bar, but beware of the HOT sauce; it's tasty, yet very spicy. If you don't feel it going down, you will the following day. Pro tip: Los Tacos prefers cash. There maybe an extra charge for credit card. Other Pro Tip: These burritos are large, so if you are splitting this one burrito with another person, be sure to ask them to cut it in half. You'll be glad they did. read more

I absolutely love the service here. They're extremely helpful when it comes to dietary restrictions and get it right every time. The inside of their restaurant is crammed and half of the building is a visible kitchen and a bit loud. They have 2 tables for outdoor seating. I can see how this may be a problem to some, but I didn't mind it. I always get their California burrito. The ingredients inside are perfectly balanced and meat well seasoned. Their portion size is very large and I'm always left feeling full. Definitely recommend checking this place out! :) read more

Great spot near the soccer complex in Oceanside. Food was flavorful, service was on point. Love the upbeat music and flow of airflow in here. Things I would note would be for the price of the fajita bowl include one or two tortillas, I mean what taco place doesn't provide tortillas with fajitas?!? When I asked I was told it doesn't come with it, obviously it doesn't but better response would be normally doesn't come with it but let me provide you with two complimentary. Don't know how the food taste as grub hub left it on the ground without our knowledge and got very cold and soggy even though I unchecked the box for "contactless delivery" I prefer my food to be given to me or at least a knock on my door or ring my doorbell so I can be made aware of the food being left on the cold dark ground. I don't know how long the food was out in the ground for but would be nice out of respect to just ring my my doorbelll or knock since I unchecked the "contactless delivery,leave food outside the door" option. Sorry maybe I will go in person next time and be able to fairly review the food. It looks like it would have been good if not for being left outside on th ground in th cold for some time. read more

Their beers are all uniquely flavored, you can really taste the different elements to their offerings If it's your first time, their flight deals are a great way to try all of their selections. Feel free to ask the staff on recommendations as well. This location has plenty of indoor and outdoor seating and very clean. It's the perfect place to grab a drink and take some to-go as well. Excellent vibes all around Definitely one of my favorite breweries!

It is extremely fresh and not overpowered by acidity, fishy smells or rubbery shrimp. The ceviche here is legit. Great. AND ONLY $10 (for cameron). If you order anything here, get the ceviche first. I'm anxious to try their aguachile now. We also ordered the fajitas ("suprema" with chicken, steak and shrimp). Fajitas did not come out sizzling at all. I have never seen this before. Also, there were only two shrimp. The steak/carne was bland and dry. Not great. Wife ordered the Sopes (3) and mother ordered the Enchiladas Cameron. The sopes were okay, but a bit bland. Wife had to salt everything on the plate. The enchiladas had a sauce my mom said was too sweet. She wasn't a fan. For all three dishes to be a miss is completely strange considering the sheer number of 5-star reviews. I want to believe. We must have come on an off-day, but the place was busy. Quite a few larger parties were here, so this place is popular with the natives. We also grabbed a Model and a Corona. Only $5 for the beers! Total for everything came to $117.64 (with tip). Could've just been an off moment or staffing issue, so I'm not writing them off completely and may give them another try down the road, but the first impression wasn't great.

Regardless if the place is packed or tour the only one in there. But that's it. Get it to go or sit outside. Or heck, ask them to turn it down. Try the requeson taco dorado.
