I love this little place in my neighborhood. I usually get the fried fish taco. The green sauce is excellent. The pico de gallo is also good and the chips are fresh. The wait staff is friendly and attentive. Everything I've had is good, but the fried fish taco is my favorite. Just don't sit on the barstools. It was my first time here. They had polite staff that welcomed and they sat us at our table. They had the baseball game on and it seems like it's a very nice ambiance with families enjoying their meals. I had ordered 2 tacos one steak and one shrimp, along with a margarita. My sister ordered the same but with a shrimp tostada. Overall the food was good. The margarita overall was ok. Presentation was good. It did taste way too spicy and heavy on the alcohol, half the glass had ice, I didn't finish it. Overall, it was a okay experience. I had an unusual encounter with my waitress . The restaurant is located at a strip mall near Oceanside. We were seated right away as there not a a lot of customers. Weirdly they didn't have the AC on even though it was hot during the day. We ordered a bunch of tacos and burritos. They all tasted fine although the tortillas were hard. The tuna burrito came with bacon and potatoes which gave a nice texture. My friend who is a food scientist suggested this place. Since we were on a foodie road trip, and one of the ladies eats seafood, and the rest of us wanted Mexican, I guess this was the happening place. We sat outside which was pleasant after they turned on the outside heaters. I forgot the young man who served us but he was fast, and really took care of us. Seems the batter lacked seasoning. The 2 grilled fish taco meat expectation but the tortilla broke apart when eating. The grill fish didn't wow me other than it was salted correctly. The service was disappointing. Originally I gave a pass as there were three large parties and only one server, had to wait to be seated for 10 minutes. Another server came in but it somehow got worse. It took another 10 minutes to bring menu and water. After ordering it took 30 min to get our food. I didn't like how it was a struggle to get our waiters attention because they were busy socializing with people at the bar. We came in at 12 but didn't leave till 1:15. I was craving really good Mexican ceviche and this place delivered. As you enter this establishment you will see plenty of seating both outdoor and indoors. This place is also very clean and well kept. We sat at the countertop and we were immediately greeted and served chips and salsa along with a tasting of their consume (broth) . The broth alone was 10/10. Service was great and the gentleman who assisted us was very attentive. I forgot to ask his name but he stayed the concept of the restaurant was to serve Baja Cali style seafood. Aaaand that he did! I got a shrimp taco 10/10 along with a fish battered taco 8/10 and a tostada mixta 100/10. This tostada ended up being my favorite. The fish was well marinated in citrus which is what normally makes a good ceviche. I will add that they mastered the tostada at this place. At no point did my tostada break or became soggy with all the weight and the lime juice of the ceviche. Every bite I took the tostada was crunchy and still holding on strong for the ceviche. I will definitely make this my must stop restaurant when heading to SD. Highly recommend this place. read more

We went to Four Tunas for lunch and it was absolutely perfect. I don't know what took me so long to try this place. My husband and I both had the fried fish taco, which was exactly what you want in a fish taco and then I had the Dorado, which was served in a crispy shell and it was delicious. My husband had the steak and shrimp taco which he also really enjoyed the service was lovely and our server was super friendly. The restaurant is bright and clean and airy. Excellent service and excellent food! Place is clean and I love their plates and bowls, nautical theme. We sat outside and our server was super nice and kind. They provided on the house chips and salsa and shots of the seafood broth (consome) when you are seated. We got the 7 mares soup, fish ceviche tostada and shrimp and octopus cocktail. The 7 mares soup was packed with tons of fish, shrimp and a huge deep fried white fish fillet, which was so good! I couldn't finish the soup myself and packed the rest to go. The cocktail has a wonderful balance of the cocktail sauce/juice in it and actually forgot the octopus in ours but later brought out on the side a separate portion of the octopus for us. I have been here two times and have enjoyed it each time. Because I tend to lock on to something I try and like, I ordered the same thing each time, the Grilled Fish Burrito. Yum, yum, yum. The Business Partner and I started with the fried calmari, a favorite of ours that we try at any restaurant that offers calamari. Very good and tasty sauces on the side. The second time here, our delightful waitress brought out little cups of their seafood broth as a sample. It was fantatastic. So full of flavor I may have to stray from my fixation on the seafood burrito to try something that has that broth. Very, very good. The grilled seafood burrito is delicious and packed with fish and so very tasty. On the table one of the bottles was Mexico Lindo Picante Negra Hot Sauce that I had never had before and it was great. It was not spicy, but flavorful and salty and just enhanced the burrito's taste. I ended up finding it on Amazon and ordering several bottles. The service has been a rock solid five stars both visits with staff always giving that extra little bit of attention that makes places shine. We've had Four Tunas ahi both times and it would be hard not to order it next time. I've also covered some ground on the taco menu. Today the basic fried fish and steak really did the trick for me! This is my local taco shop and it never disappoints! Although I didn't get tacos this time they always bring out great food. The service is always good and friendly. The outside seating on nice picnic tables is great for the group and perfect for summer time and warmer days although they do have heat lamps if needed. read more

Dinner Friday night at 6pm Our first visit... All of the inside tables were full so we chose to sit at the bar. Unfortunately, the bar stools are made for a tiny butt...like teeny so we decided to move outside. We ordered the fish/shrimp ceviche tostada as an appetizer. It tasted very fresh. We also ordered two margaritas...they were okay but took forever to receive. For dinner we ordered a fish and shrimp taco with a side of beans and an order of guacamole. The tacos and beans arrive quickly and were good...the guacamole did not arrive until we were finished eating...and was horrible! It tasted like a bowl of salt and had huge chunks of onion. Came in for some fish tacos and to watch some Fifa World Cup, never having been in before. Immediately greeted and served some chips and salsa, very attentive throughout my time there. It took about 20 minutes just to get a single beer to the table, and during that time no one checked on us or even made eye contact. Meanwhile, other tables that arrived after us seemed to get plenty of attention, which made us feel completely overlooked. For a first impression, this was rough. Service sets the tone, and this felt disorganized at best and dismissive at worst. We ended up frustrated instead of relaxed, which is the opposite of what you want when dining out with family.
