We used Los Tres Chiles as the catering company for my daughter's quinceañera, and we were absolutely blown away. When we went in for our tasting, I honestly expected to receive just one small bite of each item. Instead, they gave us a full meal so we could truly experience the food the way our guests would. And there was no charge for the tasting at all. That level of generosity and confidence in their food immediately impressed us. Gustavo was incredibly helpful throughout the entire process. He didn't just help us choose what to order -- he guided us on quantities and logistics that we weren't familiar with. His experience made the planning feel so much easier and less stressful. On the day of the event, they delivered more than enough food. Everything was delicious -- truly, every single dish was very good. We ordered the chile verde, arroz con pollo, rice, beans, tortillas, salsas, and a vegetarian side dish. The vegetarian dish was completely gone by the end of the night, which says a lot! Guests kept commenting on how good the food was. And I have to specifically mention the tortilla chips -- they were especially delicious and a big hit. The value for what we paid was more than fair. Between the quality, the quantity, and the service, we felt completely satisfied. Got drinks quickly then were completely forgotten about for almost 30 minutes. Never got chips and salsa. Once we got our food, asked for a condiment and had to ask literally 3 people before we finally got it. Food was okay - someone in our small group was still hungry after their meal (burrito bowl that was mostly lettuce). Had to ask for the check twice. Can not say enough good things about Los Tres Chiles. We order at least twice a month online, really easy to do -I go in to pick it up. Their place is always so clean, bright and festive. Tried their catering for the first time this week and it was excellent. They were extremely helpful when I placed the order. Quick to get back to me. The quote was easy to read and as long as you ACCEPT the quote you are all good. I missed that part. What could have been an unfortunate situation was saved by pure luck that my order was small and LTC is gracious. We ordered the taco bar for 20 and it easily handled the small crowd we had. The service here is great! The workers were very friendly and accommodating. That alone made going here worth it. The decorations were really cute as well and gave a very welcoming and warm vibe. The guacamole was good--I prefer my guacamole to be more chunky and have more pico though. Horchata is very good, perfect amount of sweetness. Will for sure get again. We realized after that they carry more salsa so I wish I got to try those because I feel like it would have made the burrito better. I am a long time customer. I'm the last 8 months I have been consistently disappointed by the food. Frequently there are mistakes made with simple requests. Today our son got the nachos and the chips were completely stale and they gave him about half the portion they usually do (he has the same order every week). This is the final straw for our family. Last weekend we meet friends for lunch. We started off with their complementary tortilla chips, beans, and salsa. The chips were light and crunchy, the salsa had a little kick , and the beans were well seasoned and steaming hot. I ordered the two fish tacos which were excellent. My DIL had a combination plate. Our friends had the taquitos with shredded chicken and a breakfast burrito, green sauce on the side. Then we closed out with their churros , one order with ice cream the other without. Delicious! I came to this restaurant on Friday around 5pm for dinner with my brother, we were celebrating my work promotion and oh my, it was the WORST EXPERIENCE I have ever had. Waiter seated us at the table gave us menus then never came back to take our order, after 30 minutes of waiting and seeing the waiter asking everyone how the food is and greeting everyone but dodging our table we left. For the last couple of months, I have been ordering from this restaurant once a week for our family dinner night. My family really enjoys their food but they consistently get our order wrong. Seems like 20% of the time something is messed up. Several times I've had to come back to the restaurant to have them correct the order. Now I make a point to check the order before I leave. It's topped with cucumber slices and avocado. It comes with tostados. The pozole was very generous with meat and hominy. The soup was tasty and not overwhelming. Liked the generous serving of toppings: onion, jicama and cabbage. The kids liked the Camarones Acapulco. It's deep-fried shrimps wrapped in bacon. Can't go wrong with fried bacon. It comes with chipotle sauce. Nothing special, but it's a safe dish to order. They have a festive decor inside the restaurant. They also provide outdoor seating by a fountain. We came in about an hour before closing time. And even though there was still 15mins 'til closing. The server kept coming back asking if we were ok and he could bring some boxes. Despite the fact that we were still working on our food. We obliged and asked for the bill. They were successful because we were out of there with 5mins to spare. If they didn't want to serve us, because of the time, they shouldn't have accommodated us in the first place. I was also disappointed that they did not accommodate the check-in discount coupon from Yelp. I admit that I forgot to tell them until we were about to sign our credit card bill. I had Los Tres Chiles cater a bachelorette party for 20 people and their service was second to none. Not only did I cancel on them and then re-order from them, they also changed the quote multiple times because of some vegetarians in the group. They did all this WITHOUT complaint and got back to me in a timely manner with all my annoying questions about the food! They arrived on time, suggested where they should set up so as not to damage the rental property, set everything up perfectly and the food was DELICIOUS! The food here is amazing! This is right by my work and I come here for lunch all the time. Food comes out quickly and always tastes good! The problem is the owner is very blunt. I wouldn't go as har to say he is rude, but he is not very friendly. Like I said the people I work with and I come here often on our lunch break so we try to be friendly and nice. But he either does not like us or just isn't very friendly. It makes the whole experience less pleasant over all. The rest of the staff is friendly, nice, and great at their jobs! But the fact that the owner can be so dismissive is not great. Haven't been I'm here in a few years since moving! We were hungry and in the neighborhood so we ordered takeout. I've always liked their food because it's fresh and prepared In house. Today it was even better than I remember it being! My daughter just moved to the neighborhood so I plan on going again soon Update. Just left and I'm a little annoyed. I drove an hr and a half to meet my cousins here who came 2 hrs from the other direction. I remembered I had a 15% off yelp offer. A must have is the Chori Queso app! This thing is amazing in its lava rock bowl and flour tortillas. The food was all fine with super large portions. Service was excellent, our waitress was very attentive and checked in multiple times making sure we had what we needed. I always see how the tortillas and salsa are at Mexican food restaurants- and I can say that here both are GREAT! We started with guacamole which was very good. Went out to lunch today with my son and his wife great afternoon great company great food . My son lives in Santa Rosa so he knows all the good spots for grinds . So we all felt like Mexican so he says this place is really good man you walk up to the front and there is a lady making fresh corn and flour tortillas i was in heaven . This place welcomes you like family super friendly . so i get a beer and water . my wife ordered the chimichanga it was large crazy big and delicious . my boy ordered the carna asada i got to taste it excellent his wife ordered the chicken enchilada plate looked great . I got the carnitas plate to die for . The fresh tortilla was the ticket all the meat was great . i told her i cant taste the difference between the flour and corn she made me a two cheese one made with corn the other flour . i told her i still couldn't tell she got a good laugh from that .
