I'm definitely not amazed by the super burrito they have made. It was a regular burrito at most. There was no pico de gallo, no guacamole, no salsa and barely any rice. for 18+ dollars. First time coming here and never coming back.

Stopped here for lunch cause I was at a nearby school athletic meet. The food, service, and sitting outside was quite nice. I would not order too much cause the portions are large. I ate 1/2 of mine.

Food is always amazing when I go I live close by and get take out from here the people are friendly and kind and the atmosphere here is very homie and welcoming. There is also a beautiful and festive color theme that really sets the tone and atmosphere. Even when showing up 30 minutes to close they still welcome customers in and with a smile.

The service here is great! The workers were very friendly and accommodating. That alone made going here worth it. The decorations were really cute as well and gave a very welcoming and warm vibe. The guacamole was good--I prefer my guacamole to be more chunky and have more pico though. Horchata is very good, perfect amount of sweetness. Will for sure get again. I got the carne asada burrito grande. The meat was tough and hard to chew, but the flavors were okay. We realized after that they carry more salsa so I wish I got to try those because I feel like it would have made the burrito better. I'd go back here to get the horchata and to try their tacos and other salsa. Hoping I just got a bad batch of meat and the next time will be better!

Flauta and taco both chicken

There is both indoor and patio seating. It is always clean and beautifully decorated. Lots of color. Staff is engaging and courteous. We usually order takeout at least twice a month. Last weekend we meet friends for lunch. We started off with their complementary tortilla chips, beans, and salsa. The chips were light and crunchy, the salsa had a little kick , and the beans were well seasoned and steaming hot. I ordered the two fish tacos which were excellent. My DIL had a combination plate. Our friends had the taquitos with shredded chicken and a breakfast burrito, green sauce on the side. Then we closed out with their churros , one order with ice cream the other without. Delicious! There is a reason this place is in our takeout rotation. They are consistently good with large portions at a fair price.

They have a great selection of local beers on tap and it looks like some great cocktails too. So far I've loved the watermelon lager and the amber Mexican lager. They also have large screens, making it perfect for anyone who wants to catch a game (I was fortunate enough to first stumble upon this taproom when the World Cup was still on). What makes this place even better is that they have an amazing food truck vendor serving delicious tacos & burritos out on their spacious beautiful outdoor patio. And to me, the Mexican food they serve is far tastier than most of the popular taco truck joints in Sonoma county. Generous proportions and fair prices. All in all, I'm really impressed by the overall ambiance and service, and I'm really glad we have a place like this in the neighborhood. Wish I had started coming here a long time ago. Keep doing what you're doing, folks. Absolutely love the vibes!

I never waited in the beverage line for more than a few minutes. Food was ordered at the bar and servers ran it out. Several TVs inside along the wall, a large projector screen on the east wall, and a 65" outside all displayed the game. The sound was good too. I had no difficulty hearing the match over the noise of the crowded venue. Water was supplied next to the bar and was self service. It was constantly kept full. I never saw it empty. When the bar served so much it ran out of glasses they already had plastic cups available. Overall, great spot full of great people. Well done.

My wife and I had just visited Abbey Tavern this past weekend, a premier Scottish pub in the City, and we expected a similar atmosphere. However, the moment we showed up, we were met with great disappointment. The Goose & Fern is honestly a terrible place to watch a sports match: there was only a single TV mounted in the back corner of the restaurant, the TV wasn't particularly large, and the speakers had been turned completely off. What a bust. Although the food was decent, especially the Shepherd's pie -- which came piping hot in a small cast iron skillet, the service was downright dreadful and almost non-existent. We never received waters (or were even asked if we wanted beverages), our table wasn't given enough silverware, we were never checked on during the meal, and we were waiting around for 30 minutes twiddling our thumbs before somebody from our party finally went up to try to pay for the check. In hindsight, a tip was not warranted for the lack of service. Overall, Yelp grossly misled me on The Goose & Fern. This is not a spot I would stop by again to watch a sporting match. If you're in this part of Santa Rosa, do yourself a favor and head over to Dave and Busters down the street where they have a bunch of massive screens, tons of beer options, and service that will far surpass what you're getting here.

We got to sit at the chef's table which provided the best views of exporting and some cooking too. All the staff here seem to love their job and everyone is smiling! I love that! The food was pretty great too. The miso guacamole was handmade from fresh avocados right in front of us. I really enjoyed the fried salt and pepper octopus too. Great sauce accompaniment. The two sandwiches we ordered were very interestingly on grilled bao buns which actually held together pretty well. I personally didn't love the pickled veggies but my husband enjoyed them. The pastrami sandwich was great and paired so well with kimchi. His duck sandwich was heavily doused in hoisin but still cooked really well.

Famous for their award winning beers, the Russian River Brewing Company was formed by the…read moreCalifornia Korbel Winery in 1997. The original brew master became the co-owner when the winery left the beer business in 2003. It was then moved this location in 2004, opening as a brewpub. It's been on my list of places to visit for a while, so my wife, her mom, and I took the opportunity to stop in for a Thursday night dinner on our way to San Francisco from Fort Bragg. The inaugural double IPA (aka Imperial IPA) was made by the current co-owner at a different brewery in 1994. Double means it uses double the hops and malts, and the ABV is quite a bit higher. He then created Pliny the Elder (ABV 8.0%) in 2000, recognized as the most famous DIPA. The track continued, with Pliny the Younger in 2005, a triple IPA (using triple the hops and malts with ABV of 10.25%). This version is available once a year in the spring, since it costs so much money and time to make. With so much malt being used, a large amount of time (and hops) is needed to balance. I've had Pliny the Elder in bottles before, and really liked it: I don't like the hoppy 'piney' taste in my beers, but also recognize that not enough will make the beer too sweet (which I've been facing with a lot my island beers lately). Parking is street only, but there was a lot of it, with the metered parking only requiring payment till 6 pm. We were greeted warmly by the hostess and immediately seated at a table near the bar. As expected, it was quite loud, with after work folks having a good time. We got menus, ordered our food, and then decided what to do about flights. The brewery is also known for their Belgian style and thus offers two different flights. It was my first time, and didn't know how much my wife could help, so decided to order the California Sampler (a selection of 12 different West Coast 5 oz. pours of ales and lagers for $15.45) to start: O.V.L. Stout (Old Vic Loyals) - Irish nitro stout - really beginning to love stouts, and this one was good. Velvet Glow - lager - solid. Ending up buying 6 pack to bring home ($12.99) STS Pils - pilsner. Bought a 6-pack for $12.99. Russian River Porter - Blind Pig IPA - West Coast IPA Happy Hops - Juicy IPA Mosaic Stack - West Coast IPA SimCoe 25 - West Coast IPA Citra Flash Mob - West Coast IPA Mind Circus - Hazy IPA DDH Pliny the Elder - really good. bought two cans at $5.99 each. Pliny the Elder - the original Felt pretty good, so decided to order the Belgian Sampler (9 different for $13.63), Surprisingly, I didn't like it nearly as much (my favorite fruit beer during this trip was the Howzit Punch beer). Petite Robert - table beer Little White Lie - Belgian White Robert - saison Perdition - biere de sonoma Damnation - golden strong ale Mortification - quad Supplication - sour brown ale Intinction - barrel aged pilsner Consecration - sour dark ale In terms of the food, it was solid. The 8 pc chicken wings ($17) were good, and the cheesy garlic bread ($10) was filling. I had the meatball sandwich ($16) and upgraded the fries to a spinach salad (+$4): it was tasty, loved the toasted French bread and marinara sauce, with the meatballs being OK (tasted from frozen)...loved the spinach salad with strawberries and blue cheese. We finished off our meal with a Vinnies (co-owner) sundae: good vanilla ice cream with whipped cream, chocolate sauce, and a lot of almond slivers. Payment was at the table, and me being again very pleasantly surprised at how little the flights were (a typical brewpub where they charge $3-$4 per 5 oz, would have cost 4 times as much...though of course I wouldn't have drunk as much either).

We ordered two salads, one large pizza and their pizza bites. The spinach salad was very good with…read morestrawberries, goat cheese, and some nuts. The green salad had a good variety of vegetables also. They were quite busy, but it took us over an hour and a half to get our table. While we were waiting my friend and I had to flag down the staff so that we could get a beer while we waited.
