This restaurant that we eaten here was a family-oriented restaurant and all experience were so excellent. The food was good quality, tasty, and perfectly cooked. So, this is a Mexican food restaurant, do you? It is located at Wilmington, Los Angeles, throughout the LA Harbor neighborhood. We love this place. We have ordered with the menu and I had ordered a fried fish with rice, fried beans, salad, and even french fries with horchata drink. My parents ordered some tacos or burritos with soft drink or beer. The free chips and salsa are included on the restaurant were so good to us like other Mexican versions. Thanks the God and the Lord for allowing to us for time and the customer service was good and the bill payment is very important to pay with debit card that was working good with Visa or MasterCard. I've eaten the flautas plenty of times. Always loved them. My co-worker ordered them but he didn't think he'd get full with two, so we ordered two more. The plate was $10.25. Visited this spot a couple of days ago and wanted to give a review of my experience. First of all the service was not very good. As we came in we didn't get a hello we got a sit where ever you want. Once we sat down it took about 10 mins for our server to come over and greet us and get our drink order. Our server wasn't the most friendly and seemed as though she had been working a long shift and was irritated. After getting our drink order, it took another 10 minutes to get our drinks. Once the drinks were brought to us we were told that she would be back for our food order. About another 10 mins later, we finally placed our food order with the server. We waited... And waited... And waited... Finally about half and hour after placing our order we finally got our food. The place wasn't even very busy so it couldn't have been because of the amount of people there that it took so long. By this time I wasn't really that hungry anymore, I was more frustrated for the poor service and long waits between orders and what not. As far as the food, it was below average Mexican food. Enchilada was very bland, tacos were not flavorful either. Rice and beans were okay but nothing to write home about. I tasted other dishes of people I was with and it was more of the same. Food was all pretty tasteless. This place has poor service and below average tasting food. I had to give it an honest 2 star rating. Not a spot I would recommend to others at all. read more

Being Open 24hrs is at the very least one star worthy. The carnitas are not too shabby here. Tortilla soup is done well also. If it's catering your looking for they make a Six Foot Burrito that's sure to be a crowd pleaser if you can fit it into your car to get it home. My wife and I had been here about 10 years ago and almost walked out because the service was terrible. We went back a couple of days ago because we were in the area and decided to give it another try. Am I glad we did! My wife had the machaca which she enjoyed, except that it had too much sauce on the meat but other than that it was good. I had the tacos dorados with carne desembrada. Now normally these tacos ordered at other places will drip some oil from the drip frying, quite a bit actually, depending where you go. But these were excellent, with two to three drops. The meat was flavorful and I don't know where they get these tortillas for the shells from or what they're fried in but these shells tasted awesome. The beers were cold and we received a super-chilled glass with every round. This time the service was good. Our waitress mentioned that she had been there over 30 years when we asked her if the ownership had changed. Nope, same owners. The place is bright and has a full bar. Open 24 hrs is a plus. Not very good food and expensive. We ordered breakfast and Capirotada for dessert. We were very hungry so we ate it but it didn't have a good flavor. Some dishes were very hot, like if they came out straight from the microwave. Tonight we stopped about 9pm and the lot was full. Restaurant packed. It was grad night and more important it was a Tres Cochinitas graduation celebration. Let me tell you that with a packed out house the service did not miss a beat. In fact Abuela Guera, long-time friend of owner, took time from her family sit down celebration to make sure the dining experience was stellar...not just for her family but for all the restaurant guests. Making a point to ask if there was anything else we wanted, because "you're family too". And this is just the vibe you get when stopping by this little spot. It's not trendy yet. Okay, so we waited to see how things would turn out by the end of the meal, as the restautant was packed! And yes there was an issue with an overcharge, but hey, we went through the changing of three servers (we came as shifts changed and extra help was available during grad party). But the end result is that the issue was resolved. Happy, happy. honestly, weave been to so many restaurants with large groups, and the service was no where near how well we were treated. Don't think many yelper's are out here yet. So be the forerunners on a late night and make this a regular spot. Gotta says the shrimp fajitas are sizzling and off the hook. There's always been a soft spot in my heart for Hole Mole, if only because the crowd is eccentric and the fish tacos are singularly the best thing in California. The problem is that it closes at two am, in some cases 12. Where, might you ask, can a young hipster indulging his craving for salt and greasy pork grinds at four o'clock in the morning, thereby sobbing up the suds of his Pabst binge? Why, Los Tres Cochinitos, of course. I really don't want to spoil this place by opening it up to the legions of hipsters, but holy mother this is good. For one, they serve drinks until two am, incredibly cheap ones, as well as some fluorescent tequila concoctions. Plus the waitresses wear mini-skirts of the sort you would expect to see Barry Manilow crooning behind. They even have a pie rack. Now, were that not enough, the juke box is more or less permanently left on Elvis Crespo, and the characters that come in here--factory types, truckers, Mexican laborers, prostitutes, police--are about twenty times more interesting that anything you will ever see in that decked out faux juke-joint of a place that is Red Room. In terms of culinary creations, might I recommend the tripe, or the pork spine grazed over a bed of intestines. Were that not your thing, how about the 28 shrimp for 21$? Would you like to get luxurious? How about the mussels or steamed clams? If there is an animal floating in the South Bay, this place will serve it, and for a very reasonable price. Of course, burritos are three to five dollars for the vegetarian, a little more for the meat, but if you're looking for a culinary experience, might I recommend the lobster? Parking is plentiful, and provided you don't get stabbed, you'll have a delectable experience. There are even strip clubs across the way and a post-apocalyptic view of the sunset, shrouded in lift-cranes. This place is gorgeous. read more

My family comes here a lot. I'm addicted to the puerco con nopales. Their soups are great. The chile colorado is good, and their green sauce is good, too. I'm not such a fan of their carne asada. When the entrees come with soup or salad, one of the options is a little bean soup that is the very good--I actively crave it and have started cooking a pretty close rendition at home. I tried to eat here again (take out) the prices have gone up and you now have to pay over a dollar for a tiny salsa. The owner is changing a dollar for the little bag of 10 chips. The staff has attitude and ignores you while they talk on the phone or do other things besides taking care of customers. They got my order wrong and argued with me about it. I ordered potato taco's (I'm vegetarian) and they put 2 potato and 1 chicken. Gross! Needless to say... Never again! I will not be going here again and strongly recommend that you don't either. I went there for breakfast at 4:15 am this morning. I had a craving for Chorizo con huevos with beans and rice. There was enough eggs in the chorizo and the beans tasted like can beans. The menu looked impressive but if you can't make something as simple as Chorizo con huevos, I wonder if anything is good. The best chorizo con huevos I ever had was at the Old Farmers Market at 3rd and Fairfax. Their's had salsa fresca scrambled with the chorizo and eggs. Since that time, that's how I make mine.
