We came here on a day trip to Greenfield. The waiter was incredibly kind and attentive. The food was delicious. I had the Quesadilla Toluca, and she had the Fajipina which was a pineapple half with chicken, steak, shrimp and chorizo (Mexican sausage) with cooked onions, tomatoes, and bell peppers. The overall setting was bright and colorful, in midday. We sat in the area near the bar. There was an area towards the back that had seating for families, which seemed a little less bright in the middle of the day, though I assume they are similarly lit at night. The portions were generous, and the price was quite reasonable. The chips were decent, and the salsa had a delicious flavor and great consistency The food was all very flavorful. atmosphere: 8.5 staff: 9.5 price: 8-20 per plate- very reasonable food: 9 overall: 9

This restaurant has not been in town too long so this was my first stop there. I went in for lunch because I work near there. I ordered the number one lunch special for $6.49 and a soft drink and I dined in for lunch. The food came to the table piping hot and quickly even though they were busy. The meat that I ordered in my enchilada and tacos was shredded chicken and there was plenty of it in both. I ordered rice on the side instead of the beans and I really liked everything I was served. The waiter was very attentive and asked if I needed a refill on my drink when he saw that it was low. It appears there is a bar area when you enter through the front door off of US-40 and you walk along a hallway to get to the restaurant. There is also a side door at the end of that hallway. The one thing I will say about eating here is parking is tough. I did find a spot on the street in front of the restaurant and down a little ways. I will definitely come back here to try it again and hopefully I have the same results.

Went here for a dinner date and thoroughly enjoyed the food. The ingredients tasted very fresh and I got exactly what I ordered, very generous portions. The people who served us were very friendly, and made sure to check in on us to see if we needed anything else as well. My only gripe is the music playing from the speakers was so incredibly loud. It kinda killed the mood having to raise my voice and ask my fiancé to repeat himself multiple times, just to have a conversation. I would like to eat more from this place, because the food was delicious, the price was fair, and the interior was very nice too. I just hope that we just came in on a bad day.

The food was not very fresh or authentic. However, good margarita deal. Service was ok.

    Ultimate margarita with patron. HUGE

It's a nice restaurant with nice food. My only complaint is that they weren't very attentive with refills.

Food is good. Service is always fast! Queso is slightly spicy, which my family loves.

Food is okay. It's not so much authentic though. The service is good though. It's a fun atmosphere.

Best tacos we've had locally but the front end staff always seems a little irritated when we come to pick up our food.

The food is cooked and brought out often times on a skillet which is literally steaming as it reaches the table, which is an experience within itself that Mexican restaurants fail to reciprocate in the modern day. When you walk in, you may have some difficulty being seating as this restaurant is typically busy, and typically understaffed. The service is amazing, however. The owner and crew are all very amazing, friendly, hard workers. They converse well, they take care of each other and set up an amazing environment together. That being said, with Los Maguelles may consider hiring a few more servers for the bustling Saturday nights, you may find yourself waiting 10 minutes or longer if you don't speak up for a simple refill let alone be seated. They make it fun, with their "Burrito Tropical" earning the name "Best Burrito On The Menu" as it truly is and the staff is sure to remind you. Los Maguelles is a great experience, great eatery, and an excellent choice for lunch, but with current staffing levels I would avoid a dinner with a large group.

I kicked off the evening with the Black Margarita--a berry-flavored twist on the classic--which, unfortunately, reminded me more of cough syrup than a cocktail. As usual, we started with choriqueso, though this version was overwhelmingly queso with just a small amount of chorizo. My husband ordered the Quesabirria Tacos and enjoyed them, while I opted for the beer-battered shrimp tacos--admittedly a bold choice for someone who usually avoids seafood unless I'm near the coast. I'll be sticking to that rule from now on, especially after dealing with some stomach discomfort later that night. While the restaurant clearly has a strong reputation and many enticing options, our first visit didn't quite live up to the hype. Prices leaned toward the higher end, and oddly, a server who wasn't even assigned to our table ended up being more attentive than our actual one. That said, the restaurant was busy, and both food and drinks arrived in a timely manner. The ambiance gives off a more upscale, modern Mexican vibe, but personally, I'll always prefer the flavors and value of a traditional Mexican spot over something that feels overpriced and underwhelming.
