So I wanted to get this review in as my insomnia takes full effect lol but I have to say that this was another one lf those restaurants that truly blew me away. It was so good. The atmosphere was inviting. The service was excellent. The menu has a wide array of options from fajitas which is what I got (because it reminds me of Chili's) to quesadillas and more. Is it like Chevy's Tex Me ? Not exactly. It may actually be better. The margaritas were also deleicious as well and the size was very generous for the price. If I was in Greeenfield, I would definitely return to this location. Parking was ample to. It did get very busy though after we arrived but service did not suffer at all so I assume they were well staffed. Flavors did not disappoint as well. Don Rigos is always my Boyfriends and i's choice for Mexican food it is also so fast and delicious! We have been here several several times and always enjoy I'm obsessed with their steak chimichangas it's one of my favorite things, their fresh salsa is also phenomenal it has chunks of fresh onions in it that gives it a really good flavor you can tell they make it in the restaurant. Hungry for Mexican today so we decided on this cute clean busy place. Such a nice surprise- We had quick friendly service - I had pork verde and it was absolutely delicious! The corn tortillas where very yummy too. My husband had Steak and said it was cooked perfect. This is absolutely my top most favorite Mexican restaurant around and in town! The staff is extremely friendly and I feel like part of the family! Preface: I would rate this four stars if it weren't for some of the portion inconsistencies. The food is very good all around. They have about 12 or so vegetarian options - surprised to see that many! And they're all as yummy as the next. You get chips and salsa with every meal as well, even takeout. The food is pretty authentic for a Mexican restaurant in a small town in Indiana. I would recommend a stop here to anyone! Only dropped a star as my sister consistently gets the "Arroz con Pollo" but has to order extras to fill her up. First things first, atmosphere is very much that of all Mexican restaurants...friendly, mariachi music filled dinning room and great ambiance all around. The food was delicious. I had the Shrimp Chimi...the BEST chimi I have ever had. My daughter had the steak chimi, hubby had ground beef chimi, and my son had chicken fajitas. Also, my son is a very picky eater...we asked for no onions or peppers accompany the chicken skillet. It arrived perfect! No peppers and onions in site. Just the overall experience was fantastic! Wait time was decent, food was good. Service was awful. He was busy watching the bar TV, and couldn't care less that we were there for dinner. After getting waters he took forever to come back for our orders. Didn't bring everything we ordered but we couldn't tell him, because he never came to check on us after the food was dropped (someone else brought the food out) Never got refills on water. I would've had a second margarita, but never got a chance to order one. You pay at the front so when I took the bill up and had to tell them I needed something taken off the bill because I never got it, I figured at least someone would apologize. I joined friends just for a drink so I didn't try any of the food. The drink was huge. The smallest margarita they offered was a 20 oz. It didn't seem to have much alcohol in it for the price it was.
